we purchased this 1 month ago to take to our van. it's lovely being able to make a coffee while everyones still asleep without the annoying sound of a boiling kettle. would highly recommend for anyone searching for something quiet and easy to use

Our unit was faulty out of the box - it leaked whenever the water tank was filled up. The instructions said to tighten the drain plug prior to using (which I did) but it still leaked. I removed the drain plug and re-tightened it but the leak persisted. Fortunately, Appliances Online was very helpful in trying to arrange for Westinghouse to repair the item but Westinghouse's service department never reached out to me for 2 weeks. I ended up returning the unit to Appliances Online. I have since discovered that this leaking issue is very common as the machine ages.

First one lasted 4 months then started playing up and wouldn't dispense. Got a replacement and this one is faulty as the dispensing light does not work. Looks good water is boiling when working but product is obviously flawed in quality.
Got rid of the old jug straight away. This machine is awesome, instant hot drinks. Easy to use. Stylish. Great gift for the person who has everything.
Super quiet, quick and easy to use, so much easier and more energy efficient than a kettle. Rinsed through a couple of times and once with Vinegar, and haven't noticed an plastic taste as some have commented. Would be great to be able to adjust the temperature but for the price it's great.
I bought this dispenser about a month ago because my husband has dementia and I felt it was no longer safe for him to operate the electric jug by himself. I looked at the more expensive, more complicated dispensers but settled on this because of its simplicity. You can press it once for 200mls of boiling water or twice for continuous. I showed my husband how to press it once and did not mention the continuous function. He now happily makes a cup of tea or instant coffee and I feel he is quite safe to do so. It holds 2.5 litres so I keep a large jug nearby to fill it up from time to time. I am extremely happy with this product.
I was able to purchase this on my low cost budget expenses with my NDIS package as I can't be trusted to use kettles, stove tops, ovens, knives etc... My wonderful support coordinator organised it and collected it for me, and installed it... She goes above and beyond... Mel - you're a gem! There was a funny taste to the water initially - however a couple of flushes with a cap of white vinegar in each flush fixed that, and despite other reviews of this machine noting the same re water taste - lots of machines have the same complaint. So people - a cap ful of vinegar to a full tank, flush a couple of times, get over it. It's all good.
My son's gave me this for Christmas. It's super quiet and for me it's an excellent alternative to an electric jug. I ran the recommended rinse before making my first coffee but the flavor was a bit plasticy. Then I read the super helpful review here that suggested adding half a cup of vinegar to a rinse cycle, then run a final water only rinse. It got rid of the plastic taste! Brilliant!
As the name suggests, the water is Instant and beats standing around waiting for the kettle to boil! To ensure that the water temperature is hot, my husband tested with thermometer the temperature for both the water from the kettle and the Instant Hot water dispenser. Thankfully, the water was exactly the same temperature, so we are thrilled with the product. So much cheaper than a built in hot water tap. Thanks KW, I initially had to request to be advised when back in stock, so was happy when I received an email notification the same day!
