Not the worst I've used, but a destroyer of good food due to even on the largest ring, with both on and full blast, it keeps turning on and off before I can get a sear on my foods. Not impressed. High should be high. Not expecting a wok burner result, but I am expecting a decent heat for basic foods

Didnt realise this was only a four plate system. Thought the large one was duel operation like my one that had actually 6 choices. So now my small Pots are useless.. not keen on the switches so close to hot plates. Previous separate.from the hot plats

Was available immediately. Originally wanted electronic touch controls but out of stock and delivery date unknown. Happy to have a cooktop after being without one for 6-8 weeks waiting for insurance company's verdict re covered or not. 85% contented with purchase (compared to electronic touch control panel) 100% happy that its in and working.
This cooktop is great quality. The heat settings are great and really hot. The large hot plate is perfect for big pots and large pans. The knobs do turn on very easily, this isn't the best when you're cleaning it and accidentally wipe past them, turning them on. Apart from this, its a great cooktop. We did need an electrician to wire it in and install it. I highly recommend.
Bought this cooktop for our new kitchen. Wanted an appliance similar to our old one and this was the closest I could find. Main requirement was that it had knobs which this one did. Have been very happy with our purchase. Only feature I would have changed is the totally black knobs. With my eyesight declining I found it difficult to see where the knob were pointing. My solution was to use some white out in the black grooves. Problem solved.
I love the smooth turn of the temperature knobs as they can be turned just a fraction to get the perfect temperature - unlike my old cook top that only had 5 selections to click through. Also one of the two larger hotplates is extra large allowing for a larger frying pan that actually heats up HOT, unlike my old cook top that if I had a frying pan just 1cm larger than the hotplate would not disburse the heat. VERY happy with our selection. Also the sales rep was really helpful with assisting us to rationalize our choice.
I bought my ceramic cooktop and had it installed 9/7/20. I have always been happy with Westinghouse and this is my 3rd oven and ceramic cooktop. However, it is not yet 12 months old (9 mths) and it has terrible scratch marks which I can’t remove. I have never had this problem with my previous 2 cooktops and I have always cleaned as per recommendations. I am so disappointed and dare I say angry that my cooktop looks worse than the previous one I’d had for 10 years. I can’t recommend this product
This has happened to us twice in the months of owning this cook top, just woke from a nap to discover a back element on with 3 stacked skillets sitting on it. This never happened in the 13 years previously with old cook top. The knows turn very easily and up until now we left our skillets on the back of the stove top but for safety sake the cooktop is going to have to be completely empty except when in use. We are lucky the wall behind didn't catch on fire. The tile splash back is very hot.Ease of use - too easy!
Heats up nice and quick. I like the placement of the knobs on the right hand side. Easily fits 4 pots on each element at the same time. The knobs feel nice and solid, turn very smoothly. Almost too easy to accidentally turn on when cleaning around them though. The knobs have a dull finish for grip I guess. But they should be a gloss finish so they look clean when they are. Wipe the knob with a paper towel and it sticks to the surface of the knob. You also cant easily see which way the knob is pointing but like someone else said-needs a white line on it. Probably like any glass top you need a proper cleaner to keep the marks off it after cooking.
