Good quality,found only one drawback;while cooking lid handle also get very hot can't open without cloth. Recommended.

Best rice and veges in no time

Easy to use rice cooker, with a steam basket for vegetables. Have used this cooker a few times since it arrived, the rice needs more water than recommended in the instructions, 1 cup rice to 2.5 cups water with some salt. I will be trying to make a risotto recipe with this cooker, it is so easy to use. Love the product.

Ceramic Inner Pot

I was looking for a "more healthier" rice cooker as most use nasty cheap non-stick coatings on the inner pot. So was thrilled to find this one that uses a "lesser evil" stone / ceramic coating. Being a known brand sealed the deal. However upon receiving it I realised it is pretty low quality.- The sticker on the front which shows if it is cooking or warming had nearly come off- The "metal" outside is thin and hallow, like you can touch it and it flexes inwards, very delicate.- It comes with a plastic insert which can fit into the top vent but there is no reference to it in the manual. No idea what it is. Going in blind!

Appliances online are great, no problems. This rice cooker however so far has been nothing but a headache. If you've used rice coolers before and don't need instructions I'm sure this is like the others...bit as a first timer the user manual is appalling. No indication of water to rice or how to turn on. Doing some trial and error and hopefully it'll be okay once I figure it out myself. Not impressed.

Great size easy to use

The right size for us and super simple to use. The rice on the bottom gets a little overcooked possibly need to add more water than what was required. Other than that it's great!

Poor design

Westinghouse rice cooker has large capacity but there are many features that could be improved. Too many bits that come off and need to be cleaned. Unable to clean properly after every use. Very hard to see measurements inside removable pan. In conclusion, boiled rice is cooked perfectly if you manage to get measurements correct.

The BEST rice cooker

I have been looking for a good quality rice cooker that cooks more than 4 cups but doesn't break the bank for awhile and this one is simply the best. I cook everything in here all rice types & quinoa and it stays so fluffy until we are ready to serve the meals for dinner - love love love this
