Value for money and energy efficient. I was replacing my existing Westinghouse side by side fridge that was 25 years old and as I am brand loyal I was never going to buy any other brand, but did compare it against the Samsung and the Hisense. This new model in stainless steel is stylish and the preset factory settings ensures that it runs efficiently and very quietly. It was available in the warehouse but not on display at the store, however I was able to get the details I needed online and knew it would fit. The saleswomen in store was very helpful and offered a further discount which is why I always return to shop at the Good Guys.

Terrible fridge. It is cheaply made and the interior layout is annoying. It is hard even with shelf organizers to stack and arrange the fridge well. The inside of the doors are cheap plastic and both shelfs snapped out of the door after a few months with not much more than sauces and jars in them. The Freezer seals just falls out and its easy to put back but my kids didn't notice and the freezer was open all day. Why does it come out so easily? Regret buying it.

My only criticism is that there are not enough shelves on the door of the fridge. There are only 4 shelves with plenty of room above the bottom 3 shelves. Smaller/shorter bottles and jars do not require so much overhead space. There certainly seems to be enough space for another shelf to house shorter items. These shelves could be made adjustable!. Otherwise, we are very happy with the fridge

Split doors, freezer shelves, frig space adequate. Neatly fitted in the kitchen space. Was our first choice in June but was not available so we went with a smaller Haier frig/freezer but it was faulty, was replaced under warranty with another Haier but it too was faulty. Third time lucky we got our first choice. The Good Guys were very helpful with the replacements but we needed to spend a little more to get a better size unit.
Good thngs about this fridge include External temperature controls with lock (please note this is not a temperature monitor). Spill safe shelves (excellent). Very Quiet in operation. No clumsy door handles. Looks nice (for a fridge). Door mounted Ice maker.Things of concern about this fridge There was a missing screw fitting on delivery (holding the rail for the crisper). On shelf ice maker should be mounted as an under shelf feature. Poor quality in fridge accessories (ice maker twist will break if tray overfilled). Door mounted ice maker drawer too small for man sized hand to grab ice (works like a monkey trap).
Great fridge. Good value for money as I wasn't going to spend double the amount for almost authentical fridge but different brand. Spacious enough for the two of us. Fridge is next to the freezer and i really like. Stainless steel look fits in perfectly in our kitchen. No issues so far.
After years of putting up with a smaller fridge, we chose to upgrade to a side by side model. We chose the Westinghouse as it has a separate ice tray, which has been well used so far. The additional shelf space is great, particularly as we were given a sizeable ham for Christmas, which fit with no issues. The fridge is incredibly quiet for its size and the finish is easy to keep clean

We purchased an extra shelf for both fridge and freezer from Westinghouse Frigidaire in Sydney. 4. The ice cube makers are a disaster, the one on the inside of the freezer door does not release the ice cubes when the spring assisted tray turn device is worked even when repeated quick turnings are used, also the shelf sitting ice cube maker is just the same it does not release the ice cubes. As a result we now just us a plastic ice cube tray which when twisted releases the ice cubes, perhaps Westinghouse should redesign their ice cube makers to twist the ice maker trays instead of just turning them c/w spring return, I could help ... More1. Pretty good fridge but not nearly enough shelves in the fridge, freezer, and both of the doors. You can buy additional shelves for the fridge & freezer but limited spaces to insert them. You can’t add any additional shelves in the doors - no extra brackets to put them in. It’s quite noisy for a new fridge, makes a continuous humming noise.
I needed a new, reliable fridge quickly and found this model could fit our limited space while offering a generous capacity. Its clean lines and inside layout are excellent. The men who took away the old and installed this new fridge were amazing strategists & lovely guys. They had so little space for manoeuvres and didn't even swear once! Marvels!
