Spend a bit more and get a better unit, or buy Ozito.

Bought mixer, as Bunnings staff did not recommend Ozito unit. Easy to assemble and use, except: When mixing concrete with about 25 litres of cement starting to fold, the mixing bowl flips over and drops the lot on the ground. This does not do much for one's mood. The remedy is to hang a concrete block on the handle to hold it in place - a nuisance but better than losing a mix on the ground. Spoke to Bunnings who said I had to contact the manufacturer who would want a video of the problem. The other concern is that the motor is fully encased in plastic and gets very hot as there is negligible ventilation. Initially I thought it was just a new 'running in' smell of hot electrics but it persisted and I'm not confident it will last long - probably just until the warranty expires. Disappointed with both Bunnings and WMX as both unhelpful. I'd say spend a bit more and get a better unit or buy the Ozito job as it has a better warranty.
