Bought it for the allotment as I needed one with a whistle it boils ok and quickly but doesnt whistle, usually see the steam coming out the hut. Pity about the whistle will be ok until I find a replacement.

The "Whistling" kettle that doesn't whistle . Cheap yes, You pays your money and takes your choice. It boils water and doesn't leak so two out of three ain't so bad .
smells of petrol or burned plastic .i couldn't use it.i ve boiled the water 5 times hoping that the taste of smell will go but it didnt. it s in the bin. waste of money .DONT BUY IT
good value and convenient size; boils water quickly; it didn't whistle if you can live with that then it's fine
