Wiha Liftup Electric 1000V Slotted/Phillips Magazine Screwdriver With 6 slimbits
The screwdriver with bit magazine LiftUp electric is the ideal companion for every electrician in the mobile use. The bit depot stored in the handle offers space for 6 common simbits and moves out of the magazine by pressing a button. This ensures easy removal of the bits. The proven ClicFix holder holds all bits securely and locks them reliably. This technology makes the Bitmagaziner a universally applicable screwdriver. The magazine bit holder also offers the maximum possible in terms of safety. Both the magazine bit holder and the included slimBits are certified according to the international standard IEC 60900. The slim, 75mm long slimBits grant a perfect access to low-flying screw or spring clamps through the protective insulation completely integrated in the bit in the front area. Another plus point is the rotating cap, which ensures a comfortable handling. 6 mm slimBits can only be used in slimVario bit holder and slimTorque VDE bit holder (VDE torque system). I really like Wiha tools but this one unfortunately is very poor. The retaining clips that hold the end on broke on my original one and as there's a very tiny plastic ball which the hinge pivots on it was lost which meant the end wouldn't stay inserted into the driver I was given a replacement one and unfortunately this one wasn't much better the clip broke within a month of very light use again the end just pops up when you're trying to use it. Very disappointed!!

Definitely bought as a gimmick but now sits in my pocket day after day, even though it’s just a tad too long, the length makes a little unbalanced and the locking mechanism gets really tight when it gets dust in it so I tend to clean it with a ptfe spray , silicon spray can be a bit gunky. Great tool, please make a shorter version

Ergonomic grip plus they’ve lasted longer than my back up set I bought after them!Very simple to use, makes light work, does exactly what it says it does. Not a huge amount of features but IT JUST WORKS. They are built to last and stand getting bashed about in cavities, lofts, up ladders or ductingNot the cheapest, not the most expensive but I am a firm believer in getting what you pay for. Certainly top quality without top price

I bought this product because I saw a mate of mine had one and thought it looked a good idea. However after maybe 6 months the yellow bit holders did break and you find yourself losing the different bits. I personally wouldn’t waste your money on it because of this reason and let’s face it the only reason your using it is out of laziness.
I personally don’t have one but I’ve used a plumbers one a couple of times when I was changing over a stat. The smaller stumped driver parts made it easier to get into the smaller screws and the bit holder in the handleIs nice. Only issue was it wasn’t closing properly and popped open a few times while using. It’s a lot of money for such a small thing, would I buy one, not sure but if it was cheaper, I would.
Brilliant bit of kit, and a screwdriver too. I bought one of these, thinking it was a gimmick, when it was on a super offer on Ebay, and I had a £10 Nectar voucher which made it cheap as chips. To be honest, I bought it for the six slimbits inside to add to my slim vario & stubby drivers (at the price I paid they were a bargain).BUT, the screwdriver itself turnd out to be a really quality tool, as well as carrying around thevsix useful slimbits. So, apologies to Wiha for doubting them.
I’m usually a Wiha fan, however this has let me down a little. While if it worked it would be fantastic I think they’ve dropped the ball on build quality. The pop up function was stiff from the start and I didn’t get the extension it needed to pull the bits. After a short while I realised the bit holder moves slightly and this causes drag. Anyway moving on from that I’ve now discovered that when operating the spring function it now doesn’t stop the bit holder and essentially it flies off the shaft so basically splits into two.I feel now mine has been faulty from purchase and as I’ve brought it though the Wiha tool club when it was open to everyone I am not sure how to go about getting a replacement.
Usually a wiha fan but this screwdriver set is one of the worst bit of wiha Kits I've owned. Started off okay but after a very few uses the spring mechanism starting sticking and after a few more uses I had to pull it out everytime I wanted to change the bit. Poor.
The concept of this screwdriver is brilliant, ideal for inspection and testing everything you need in one place, not too heavy and a decent size once you get used to the bigger handle. But build quality isn’t great, which for wiha is a shame and unusual, the clip that hold the lid down wears quickly meaning the top keeps coming undone, the holders for the bits come loose and end up falling out too, I’m now on my thirdOverall it’s a good screwdriver but the quality of the moving parts needs some work.
A great utility tool with a few downsides. My first one broke within a week , with only light use (spring part which houses driver bits managed to come completely out). Senates spoke to wiha who said replace it immediately so great customer service. The little clips inside the driver handle which hold the heads are also prone to coming loose. If you want a one tool does all then this is great. Especially handy if your carrying a hand tool kit on public transport or for nipping into jobs as it drastically cuts down the weight of the bag compared to a full set of drivers.
