As with all other Wiha screwdrivers the Torx Drive (T-Star) driver features a blade made from high alloy chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, hard dull chrome plated against corrosion. The tip is precision ground, hardened and tempered. Using the very latest technology, Wiha screwdrivers are fitted with a SoftFinish handle which is moulded directly onto the blade. The hard core has a skin-sympathetic, soft material bonded around the "Power Zone", designed to transmit the maximum torque whilst remaining comfortable and less fatiguing.

Great screwdriver. You can feel the quality in the handle!
After using a cheap no-named set of torx bits, and partially stripping some screws on a knife that I liked, I read about not using cheap torx drivers. I had heard about the brand Wiha, which was highly rated I bought this and 2 others (I now have security torx Screwdrivers T8, T9 and T10) what a difference! These are quality German made tools, and are impressive.
Added a T5 driver to my SoftFinish Torx set. This is ideal for deconstructing 3 1/2 hard drives. A joy to handle the SoftFinish drivers. Perfect handles, perfect tips. Wiha tools are best in my lifelong collection.
I bought a set of these quite awhile back for myself and have used them for long time now. Bottom line, These are Perfect! Excellent just doesn't say enough. Top of the Mark Fine German Tool Steel!! Why pay for a big tool company name? These tools are just that darn good, They are made just as well, perform perfectly each and every time you need them to when you want them to! This is a 15 piece torx tool set from Whia which is a very prestigious and respected tool company that has been making tools like this for over 70 years. These are made from very high quality German tool steel and made to extremely tight Quality Assurance and design specifications tolerances. This set, You get 15 sizes; T6, T7, T8, T9, T10x80, T10x275, T15x80, T15x275, T20, T25, T27, T30, T40, ... MoreI bought a set of these quite awhile back for myself and have used them for long time now. I was confused about their listing so I asked - "Why do you say 14 piece but you have 15 pieces listed?" Their reply was; "We included the T10x275mm (10.5" long) which is what our customers have asked for". How do you beat that? They listen to us. Go Figure. Try doing that with any other company (oh gee, I don't know - say we pick one other respected tool company for comparison .. how about Snap-On? Wonder what their response is... I think you won'y get a satisfactory and definitive responsewithin months. And I would imagine the cost would cause us to shudder in expected amazement and gringe in acknowledgement. But it is a Snap On. As we get older we do get smarter about our tool choices. We learned that a big tool company name does not mean its a great tool at a great price. We worked too darn hard for our money - why toss it away on foolish marketing schemes? It's our hard earned money! Here is a little of my history so you can see how I base my opinions. I am a retired engineer with over 50 years in business. My experiences took me through 20 years in the military service as an engineer, 13 years in a petroleum refinery industry as an engineer and finished my work as a computing and server systems and network engineer managing more than 150 servers. It's easy to say that I've had plenty of time to pick and chose which of my tools works and more importantly "work every single time time I want them too, without fail and sometimes under the harshest conditions". I am totally pleased with the ergonomic handle design, metal strength and tool durability. I am so convinced that I just bought another set for my Son who works on Bio-Medical Equipment professionally and on vehicles as a weekend passion. If you need a torx screwdriver tool set with a really wide rangeof sizes like this to work on Medical equipment or Audio / Video components or any type vehicle perhaps you just want a really great and well made set of long Torx screwdrivers - Look No Further ... You Found The Perfect Set Right Here.

I rarely use Torx but there's always something with a Torx screw in it... this T6 driver will come in handy I'm sure!
This doesnt get as much use as my other drivers but the same great long lasting tips and ergonomic handle from my other Wiha drivers is why I buy my specialty tips like Torx in Wiha as well. I used to buy cheap drivers for my less common tips, but the reliable grip I get on my handle and the fact that I hardly ever cam out of a fastener made me realize those features are just as important when working with fasteners that aren't as common, so I been replacing my cheapos slowly with Wiha.
