I have 3 Wiim Pro already set up for multi-room, but for my family room the Wiim Amp meant I could cut all of the equipment down to a single box (previously we had smartplugs, active speakers, wiim, separate remotes etc). The Apple Airplay is vital for us, alongside chromecast, we use it all the time. The eARC via HDMI means no faff, the amp comes on with the TV and the sound is incredible. I worried that the amp would not be powerful enough for the speakers I'd paired it with (KEF LS50 META), but they have plenty of volume and sound great!The multi-room is great too, whether you're listening to the radio and moving between rooms, or when you're having a party, it's great to have everything perfectly in sync with seamless high-res audio.A

Had one shipped in to the London store and have to say this thing is a super value given its feature set and build quality. Super functionality in the app and it drives my Quad 11L with ease. Thumbs up from this non audiophile who has been into audio and video gear for over 40 years. I went with this over the updated version so as to retain airplay functionality. When used with appropriate partnering equipment in a reasonably sized room I don't see how you can go wrong (and it does currently allow the USB input to be configured as a digital out if that's a concern). Happy I was able to get one a great price.

I bought this product a month ago to replace some older equipment. I use it with Q-Acoustic bookshelf speakers and spotify as the music source. It is a compact, good looking set up and sonically gives the type of output I prefer, warm, rich tones. Its stand out feature though is its ease of use, selection of spotify on my phone automatically prompts me to choose the wiim as the output and it even appears to turn the amp on automatically. Its simplicity is really endearing and useful.

Recently purchased the WiiM Amp after looking at a variety of streaming options. I'm very pleased I decided to go with the WiiM Amp. It's small and easy to place in a variety of areas, it's also very simple to set up and connect to Broadband Router.Easily connected to my Tidal account and in no time I was listening to my favourite music and everything is crystal clear. This might be small but has a big impact, and is well worth the money if you are looking for a great way to stream your music.I connected my TV and the sound was great, although not as good as my Soundbar when watching movies.Great little amp, and I would certainly recommend this product.
The wiim amp is excellent!It pairs well with a pair of monitor audio bronze 2 and a Cambridge audio sx-120 subwoofer to bring music to life much better than my 10y old integrated mini system. Additionally, it's hdmi arc receiver functionality allows it to mitigate the disaster that is sound in modern TVs.If I could change one thing... It would have a built in cd player, but you can't have everything at the wiim's low price! Cheap cd / dvd players with optical outputs also fix this problem without much compromise.
I bought this a few days ago and it is rather fine.It has been paired with my bronze Audio Monitor floorstanding speakersand the sound is clear, smooth and clean.The app works really well and there is an equaliser to just tweak the bass up a little.Excellent build quality and the connections are solid.Leads are provided and the presets on the remote are much more useful than I might have thought.Fully integrates with Apple HomePods in other rooms. Really impressed.

I have 2 polk signature s10s as speakers and an svs 3000 micro as a subwoofer on one system and 2 Cambridge Audio Minx speakers and Cambridge Audio 6.5 in subwoofer on other system. Previously I was using these with a fosi audio bl20a amplifier which is good for the price but I found that its preamp line out was going down in volume faster than the speakers so that made it very limited in use with a subwoofer. Great that it has chromecast and spotify connect. I used rew to decide on an appropriate crossover point and loved the better blending I was able to achieve by having the low pass and high pass filters on the wiim. Then I used all 4 peq bands on wiim to give me a flat response between 20 and 500 Hz. I've never been able to achieve this on a 2 channel system only on a much more expensive and larger denon avr. I've not needed to use the remote at all since it automatically switches inputs when the current input stops playing and it senses a signal on another input. But the remote is also nice and works well. Important to note though that the microphone on the remote can only work with Alexa and not with google home or Siri.Pros: Lots of features and great price.Cons: I had to set the subwoofer trim in wiim amp at +15 in order to get my svs subwoofer to switch to on from standby mode since I dont listen at loud volume. The cambridge audio on the other hand was able to turn on from standby with a 0 trim setting in the wiim amp. A dynamic eq feature on wiim that gives more emphasis to bass would help the SVS. I had a problem where it wouldn't switch to line in from optical but switching to a different cable seems to have helped with that. I think a button to switch inputs and a button to skip and go back a track would be helpful.
I've had this for a few weeks now and really can't fault it. The control app is easy to use and extensive.I'm using B&W 704's and HDMI arc input and it sounds awesome.The EQ function has a significant positive impact on the sound, useful for me as ears are getting old.It looks sleek, sturdy and compact and easy to set up.If you are looking for a good amp that delivers crisp treble clear rounded mids and rich warm but tight bass, with the bells and whistles of Bluetooth and WiFi. This is the one for you.

The setup might be less than audiophile but the integration with my TV and simple control options mean I listen to it every day, The audio quality is way better than I expected. It is even better with stand mounted Celestion SL6s on stands but sadly not as discrete!I have discovered BBC Radio 6 music, Radio Paradise and FLAC on USB. I may get round to subscribing to one of the streaming apps, but so far there is so much new and old music that I am rediscovering that I haven’t had time!Whilst I am sure that there are other great integrated streaming amplifier solutions out there, the price and performance ratio of the WiiM makes it worthy of serious consideration especially if you already have suitable speakers. The Edifier T5 sub has also proved a great buy allowing a much more discrete lifestyle solution with a pair of tiny AV satellite speakers.
I was searching online about the WiiM Amp and found a great price at Rockville at the time of order. Got a brand new unit at $239.99. Placed the order asap. Received product one day earlier than expected. I used it for Spotify music and for my TV sound. Using Polk audio atrium 4 speakers plus an old Yamaha sub. I am not an audiophile but system sounds very nice to me. I would shop at Rockville if I need any other audio products again
