Hi-Res music streamer with a small cost and an easy set-up. You need to use an external DAC for best sound, DAC, AV Receiver, etc. Wiim app works okay but could be improved. Overall, you get a lot of bang for the buck.

You can stream music to virtually any receiver, powered speaker or amp in the house. Hooks up to Amazon Echo. Use wifi instead of Bluetooth to free up your phone to be a phone and avoid hearing notifications for texts and emails. Love it.

The Wiim Mini is fantastic as a wireless streamer that is out of sight and blends into your system. For high fidelity listening you are going to want to bypass the internal DAC and connect it to your own DAC using the optical out connection. The fidelity of AirPlay 2 is not as good as Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, etc., if that matters to you.

Just need a streamer to feed my DAC. Has digital out and loaded with audio apps from the most popular sites. Setup was easy and the app works perfectly
I have two of these Wiim mini streamers now and have no complaints with either of them. You get so much for so little.
Great device. Practically set itself up. Sound is stellar as well. Integrates and works with my streaming supplier's phone software. Allows phone to be used as a remote. Can't ask for much more.

Tap, fill in your password and user name and you are off to the races. I really recommend this unit for a beginner who is unsure about streaming to his or her stereo system or powered speakers. So easy to mess with. All you need is a subscription to one or more of the music services and this thing will make it happen! This device requires WiFi to operate though I believe it may also support Bluetooth. Anyway, easy to use, does EXACTLY what you need it to do and furthermore, the company is doing constant updates making it even better! Best few bucks I have spent in a long time. As a side bar, I am using this on a high end system with Magnepan speakers. I can't find any sonic flaws that I could attribute to the Wiim mini. I hear there is a newer model in the works that I can directly connect via Ethernet. I will be first in line! Not a big fan of WiFi for these types of things. This streamer does it all. Don't hesitate- it is terrific.
The best streamer you can get for less than $100! Easy to set up and get it running in no time!
The software alone is worth the price of this device... then add preamp, streamer to both Alexa and Siri, and a decent dac. Add Aiyima 3255 amp and Emotive B1 speakers and you have an excellent audio system for a little over $300.
easy to configure - great sound quality - fixes the issue caused by sonos vs google court battle. If you want to play songs from your phone all you need is a sonos with a line in and one of these.
