Wild Turkey Kentucky 101 Bourbon Whiskey is an iconic bourbon with a high rye content and deep character. On the nose there is a strong blend of caramel toffee with a robust amount of alcohol. The Spice and vanilla provide a baseline with extra layers of toasted oak and butterscotch. Sweet notes of maple and cinnamon are nicely juxtaposed with oak and spice.

If you take into account the cost, WT 101 is unbeatable. I think it's a really wonderful whiskey, price apart. It is the ultimate dry American whiskey and a bridge to the first rye spirits because it is dry, rough, leathery, woody, and wonderful.

WT101 is absolutely my favorite bourbon under $4Mc0. True, there are other bourbons out there that are better, but for the price, you can't go wrong. It has strong notes of leather and vanilla, with a bit of a peppery bite. I feel like the extra alcohol changes the mouth feel enough to differentiate it from "standard" bourbons, and it's definitely a characteristic I like. I can't recommend this bourbon if you are not into "bold" bourbons, but in my opinion, bolder is better.

Personally, I find the oak to be a little too flavor-forward. It isn't very complicated in my opinion, and it reminds me a lot of Early Times, which I consume frequently. The Wild Turkey is different because it has a syrupy character that unifies everything into a delicious flavor that is superior to the rest.
I would describe myself as a scotch enthusiast and a bourbon newbie, but I had to give it a shot after hearing from so many people that it is the standard bourbon. Thankfully, they were correct. Eagle Rare was a longtime favorite of mine, but this soon ousted it. The finished product is a sweet, caramel-vanilla, and peanut butter delight.
"There are various varieties of bourbon, each with a distinct and unique function. You can enjoy having a difficult talk for hours with someone, much like going on a date with a beautiful woman. That is the reason Four Roses was created. There's also the time when everything will finish in a Wild Turkey 101 fashion.Simply said, this whisky has the finest finish of any I've ever drank."
Best-in-class, dependable bourbon. There are one or two notes in there that I don't like, like being excessively candied or something. wonderful for blending I'd rather drink on something else neat.
What sets Wild Turkey 101 apart is its impeccable balance. Despite its high proof, the bourbon remains smooth and approachable, making it ideal for both seasoned bourbon enthusiasts and newcomers to the spirit. The satisfying warmth and lingering finish are a testament to the masterful blending techniques employed by the distillers
"It is a really harmonious smooth full-bodied pour with balance and lasting flavors that make it a delight to taste, and I'm so glad I recently got it again. You can't go wrong with this or Old Forrester 100, so I rotate between the 2!With the 1.75 L value, WT triumphs."
I recently purchased this bourbon, and I'm well aware of how well-liked it is. Finally, it comes to a close with a medium-dry finish that lingers on your palate for quite some time and has overtones of sweet corn. There is a particular depth to Wild Turkey 101 that provides you plenty of potential for more investigation.
