Its 112 rye whiskey proof. It has the same taste as the 101 proof just bolder and more. I prefer the bourbon 101 proof and 116 proof but this does not disappoint. It is just as good. Its been said by many that Wild Turkey is under rated and under priced. I think Ill quit my job and work for them.

This and the barrel-proof bourbon are excellent values. The rye is particularly nice to mix with a lower proof bourbon (eg Four Roses single barrel) for a spicy kick to an old fashioned.
Very smooth for the proof. I've had both the Rare Breed Bourbon and the Rye, and I much prefer the complex flavor of the Rye. Toasty caramel, like the crisp outer edge of a campfire marshmallow. Balanced with the rye spice keeps this tame and easy to sip. Enjoy this one neat.
It’s a fair rye with a fair price. I️ wouldn’t go crazy trying to find it and buy it, but if you like a good rye with notes of vanilla, citrus, and brandy cherry. I️ think it’s slightly high priced but it’s good whiskey that warrants the price.
Rye Breed Bourbon is one of my favorites and a go to Fri night sipper. So I had heard good things about Rare Breed Rye and thought I would give it a go. Same great Turkey quality with a spicery pallet and finish. I will buy this bird again
What a better way to celebrate or console yourself then a fresh crack of Wild Turkey before/during/after the best rivalry in all of sports. Last year I celebrated and again this year. Hail to the Victors Valiant! Hail Hail to Michigan, the Leaders and the Best! GO BLUE!
