I have three of these bins all with broken lids. The lids break at the hinge or with the last one I purchased the top itself broke. The bin itself is a great size and sturdy but the lids are poo. Why can’t companies sell bins and lids separately? It’s such a waste of plastic

Top fits very loosely, every time you try to swing the lid, the whole top just falls off the bin. Has no clip or fastening function. Even the cat can push the lid off with his nose.

The little tabs that are supposed to hold the lid in place are not long enough. So the lid won't sit in position properly, which in turn makes the lid open slightly. After a little while (even with bin scents) you get an odor.

I ended up with a whitish one and the deal maker for me was it was "Made in Australia". Others comments about lid not locating securely on bin are correct, irritating to say the least. And the plastic, whatever it is marks very easily meaning I have to wash the lid almost daily. Maybe that is why the latest ones are charcoal. Still dirty but you can`t see it!.But when all is said and done it is "Made in Australia" and not, well, you know where I mean.

Bought this product as it was a Willow, well known brand and supposedly Made in Australia. The bin is good, but the Swing and Stay lid lasted less than a week. It will mo longer stay open. Dissapointing. I did not keep my receipt as I didn't expect a quality product such as Willow be useless
A great size bin for the kitchen. Flimsy feel. Lid is useless and doesn’t fit onto the base properly and keeps sliding off. The lid Stays like it should, unsure for how long. Overall ok except for the lid.
Great size for a commercial gym. Check the lids before purchasing - some are a bit small for the base.
Excellent quality, easy to clean, compact with a large capacity. The largest bin liners are best. I just buy the inexpensive outdoor bin liners. Being black they work well with the charcoal exterior.
This is our replacement recycling bin and it is a good mid size bin that is enough to fit a few wine bottles and newspapers to recycle but not too big to carry safely to empty. It is in the sun half the day and seems to have handled that OK. Possums like to play with the swing lid though.
