I absolutely love this racket. Getting used to the feel and timing took a little bit of time, but I loved using it. I've suffered from shoulder problems for years even before getting into tennis, and tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, and triceps tendonitis after getting into tennis. This racket is wonderful on my elbow. I still have shoulder pain during serves, but it's not as bad as before. I need to get used to the racket a little more since it does have a little more power than I'm used to. My shots go long slightly more frequently now, but that may also be due to my Tecnifibre X-One Biphase. Slight adjustments should make this racket perfect for me.

I was using the Babolat Pure Strike 16x19 racquet for the past 2 years. Over the last few months, I started to develop symptoms of tennis elbow as well as pain in the wrist. In order to prevent injury, I decided to switch to a lighter and larger frame.Initially I was skeptical about the Clash as there tons of reviews online that claim that this racquet is overhyped. But with the Confidence Guarantee option on TennisHub, I decided to give it a try (strung at 50lbs with Solinco Tour Bite). Safe to say, it was the best decision I could have taken. In a matter of weeks, my wrist and elbow pain were gone. The racquet provides a lot of power and control... and the best part is that the frame is super-soft. And even if you don't have such issues, the combination of power and control with such a light frame are in itself a pleasant surprise.

I been playing with the racquet for 8 mos. and it’s a great weapon. The feel and comfortable of the racquet is right on. The con of the racquet, is that it doesn’t stand longevity. What I mean, is it get hair splits after you start replacing strings. I play 4.5-5,0 65’s and I practice four to five times a week. I find myself restring my racquets every three to four weeks. I’m a diehard Wilson person, but for the first times, I use 17g. (I enjoy the feel); I’m thinking, of switching and I never thought that day would come. For the first time, I’m experiencing disappointment. For history sake, I’ve played high school to the semipros with Wilson racquets and this the first time I have had this kind of hip- up in a Wilson racquet. As a teaching pro, most of my ... MoreI been playing with the racquet for 8 mos. and it’s a great weapon. If you are looking for power, then dont buy this. My first racket was Babolat pure drive 2021. I prefer power serve. Later looking at Wilson Clash ad I was moved away by their marketing. It led me to purchase Clash 100. I regret now. It was a poor decision. You dont get power in clash. No doubt it feels like a beginner racket only. You wont see pro players also not using clash racket although they would endorse. I have gone back to my previous Babolat pure drive 2021 only. It gives me better control with power.
This is a very different feel compared to typical rackets. There is a lot more flex in the shaft, which translates into a comfortable and cushy contact and extended pocketing of the ball. That's how this racket generates additional pace and spin by extending dwell time. The soft contact will benefit anyone looking to move away from harsh hitting frames or have injuries to recover from. I found this racket did not change the precision of my shots noticeably. The increased spin also put some more control on ground strokes.
I've been a Wilson fan boy for a bit but the quality control is absolutely horrendous. I purchased a clash and it played amazing. Purchased two more and none of them play the same, nor do they have the specs mentioned. One is unstable and light, while the other one ended up being a log. Swing weights are clearly much different and customer support doesn't give you many options as it falls into their "tolerances."
Ballanced and easy racket to start with.I bought it for its arm friendliness as per numerous reviews I read on the internet and it proved to be so.Pocketing the ball is very easy with this racket giving ample top spin and depth. Power generation is also great. It acta a bit erratic thou at times but that's something we all can live with. Do use a dampener with this one or else it will feel like a wooden racket.
I have been playing with Pro Staff 97 for almost 2 years. I am completely happy with legandery Pro Staff 97 which is 315gr. My friend has Clash 98. By this way, i had a chance to try it. As a first impression; i thought Clash 98 is much lighter than Pro Staff but it is 310gr. So, not much lighter actually but it makes different feeling somehow. I think, that is great. It is very easy to get used to it and swing it. I really like Clash 98 while playing. On the contrary, its paint work is not succesful. Although my friend is very attentive about equipments, there was many chips on its paint. Another negative impression which is very subjective is the grey color at the middle. I did not like its color, It looks cheap for me. Pro Staff is much more attractive with its red and mate black. I hope Wilson will improve paint work quality to solve chiping. At the end, I want to have one. Clash 98 will be my primer racket but probably after paintwork improvement. ( I am almost sure Wilson will solve this at short notice.)
I bought this raquet 2 weeks ago, used 2 times; strung with Wilson Synthetic Gut Power 55Lbs. Definitely didn't meet any of the speciations on the description (except fort the spin). This the very first time buying a brand new Wilson raquet and I'm so disappointed I wasted my money. This raquet should be targeted to recreation. Don't think about saving some money, don't do what I did unless you'd like to oay more on your end.
I got this demo because I am in search for a new racket. I have played with a Wilson racket for most of my career, and was not satisfied with trying rackets from other brands.I therefore tried this racket side-by-side with other Wilson models in the same practice (e.g. Burn, Blade, Pro Staff). The Clash 100 stood out as the most flexible, and adaptable racket, and surprisingly also very stable. I was able to hit terrific shots and take huge risks with unexpected success. It was enjoyable.I wanted to make sure that this was not a "placebo" or "brand" effect given all the hype this racket has. So I tested it again vis á vis the other rackets, and indeed, it was at another level. It is still unclear to me how the new technology helped the racket, but this is ... MoreI got this demo because I am in search for a new racket.
