A slight flaw to an otherwise decent ball

I bought two of these balls for use in the backyard. They seem like a reasonably good quality, durable ball, having a good feel. The main issue I have with them is they both have an inconsistent bounce. Not sure what the cause is, but it feels to me like maybe some parts of the balls have a thicker wall, so they bounce more firmly and emit a different, more solid sound on some parts than on others. It's not too big a problem as the balls are only for shooting hoops with my kids, but if you're using it for games some players might not like it.On a lesser note, one of the two I bought has lost a little bit of air over the couple of weeks since I first pumped them up. Not a big issue of course, but needs to be mentioned.

Bought this Tack Pro Indoor/Outdoor ball a few months ago for our team practices, and it is now deflated after pumping it up. Had to now throw it since the ball no longer holds air inside. Really disappointed. I've had Wilson balls, and Nike balls, and never had this ever fail so badly. When we first bought the basketball, it doesn't bounce too well either.

It’s a good light weight basketball, with a average bounce (normal bounce) which is perfect. I really think it is worth the money, since you can literally play all day without needing to pump it up a single bit. Had some fun with my friends for a couple of days in a row and was extremely durable. Definitely recommend this.

Decent quality ball.
3 January 2023

Nice feel and quite a grippy ball. No issues with it playing indoors and feels like a regular indoor basketball. Outdoors, I am not sure how durable it will be especially on course asphalt courts. Decent value for money considering that many decent balls are in excess of $50.

Disappointing
2 August 2022

I was relieved Rebel had a size 5 in stock. Tricky finding a size 5 ball at the start of a season. Got this for my daughter who just started playing basketball. She doesn’t like it. Lacks the grip for newbies. Ended up getting a rubber one off ebay. Can’t return as we had put her name on. Oh and it goes flat after every training session. Maybe we got unlucky and got a dud one but it’s a waste of $40!

Don't Underestimate the Wilson Ball!!!!
25 September 2020

This ball so far has been absolutely fantastic with limited flaws. I have had this ball for a couple of weeks and use it around 4-5 days within the week, so I would be sure of a fault by now if it had happened. So far so good. For the basketballs, don't underestimate the ball because 1. its a Wilson so not usually as good as molten or Spalding 2. it can be used both outside and in. Usually we can't trust them because the material and style is completely different and cannot be used both inside and out. At first I was unsure, but when I bought it and used it outside and to this day, the grip is still enact and the bounce is good on cement. However,as a negative I did have to re-pump my ball after a few sessions as it deflated a little bit and the bounce wasn't as ... MoreThis ball so far has been absolutely fantastic with limited flaws. I have to say, they would have to be my only flaws.before I bought this ball as I said before I was very unsure of the quality and/or use of the product. As a customer I would have liked to see a demonstration with the ball or a detailed review like I am writing now with an actual customer as it would've given me way more trust to buy the product knowing I made the right choice.

Fantastic ball for a very good price
16 November 2021

Nice ball for outdoor practice for that price. The previous one I had, which was the same as this one, wore out quickly initially but this latest version seems to be more improved. After a month of use everyday it still feels the same in hand. I bought two of them actually.

This basketball is pretty good and perfect for casual training for both indoors and outdoors. I regularly use this ball weekly and have no trouble with the grip, and it’s very bouncy too. The price is also very good for a good quality ball :) Would definitely buy one again.

Satisfied Customer & Happy Grandson
3 December 2022

My grandson was extremely pleased with my purchase. We weren’t able to get the particular size in Perth but I was able to do an online order from interstate to get the particular basketball he wanted. He even FaceTimed me when it arrived and I saw it in action using the basketball ring and stand I purchased a couple of Christmases ago from Rebel. I have made many purchases for my children and grandchildren at Rebel. They never disappoint.

I purchased this ball for my 11 yo son. He loves this ball! Charlie declares that the ball is smooth to the feel but still 'grippy'. The ball has an excellent bounce and return. It fits comfortably in his hands and has been a pleasure to train with.
