Withings - Sleep Analyzer WSM02

The visuals on the phone/ipad are so small that it is difficult to read. The graphics are poor and not as clear for understanding as other programs I have used. The information is not really informative - it may not be the case - but the impression is that this gadget is an entry point where the supplier hopes to sell you other sleep aids and is designed to overstate your situation. For instance my husband does not have sleep apnea but the products suggest he does have it mildly - thats just not the case!

Analyser Will Tell if You Have Sleeping Issues

I participated in a university sleep study and they provided me the use one of these during the 5 week study. The data it provides is truly indicative of your sleeping depth and time asleep, amount of snoring and when you wake during your sleeping. It also tracks your heart rate while in bed. I was so impressed with the data during the sleep study, I purchased one so I could continue to monitor my sleeping patterns. If anyone is in denial whether they have sleep apnea/snoring, well reviewing the data this product provides (on a mobile phone app) is the best way to ascertain/prove the true position.

Best Sleep Analyser for the price

Amazing bit of tech. Purchased it after reading the Flinders University study. Accuracy may be a little off, but as a general insight into how you are sleeping it’s perfect. I use it for tracking sleep apnea, and deep & REM sleep patterns.

Do u suspect Apnea or snoring, highly recommend!!!

Sleep analyser is incredibly accurate, I suspected it but never realised I had sleep apnea, mine turned out to be servere. I bought the sleep MD mouthguard, which for me was an immediate win, I changed some habbits and reduced measured apnea to zero and snoring to a minimum. Likely to add years to my life, reducing risks, I feel human again with much more energy. Having this data was a game changer. It's very interesting to see the impact of a late coffee on my heartrate and how certain day/evening activities impact rem and deep sleep. This goes beyond anything my watch was able to capture as that indicated a decent sleep.Can highly recommend if you suspect e.g. snoring or apnea or need to change sleep habbits.

Does what it says

Easy to setup and hands off to use.The connected app however leaves a lot tone desired. Non existent or faulty integrations, app is generalised, not sleep focused, so the UI is clustered with a lot of features I don't use and can't hide/disable. Lacks a lot of features such as easy tagging and advanced data analysis to help you find pattern.Would recommend, but be aware of its limitations, hopefully the app will get updates.

Don't know how it works but it does.

The machine does what it says it does, even under my very thick Dunlop latex mattress. Disappointing the 5V power supply was DOA, I'm using an iPad power supply instead. The QC ex factory can't be any good if they ship a dead power supply with a product. The Withings support is not very good. I emailed a support question over a week ago but they are yet to reply. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Happy with it

As a shift worker, I purchased the sleep mat to see if there was a link between lifestyle/ behaviour choices and sleep quality (food, coffee, stressful shifts etc). Note- I don’t like digital watches, rings etc which could prob do a similar thing for my intended use. Results seem pretty accurate and data collection app easy to use. I got it on sale - even better.

Stopped working, terrible support

Both sleep analyzer and scales simply stopped connecting to the app without which they are useless.Spent hours trying to reset devices etc to get it working before then spending hours talking with support being asked to reset the device over and over then told they need to spend several days further investigating before considering a replacement.

Pros: The installation process is very simple, and once it is set up you don't have to think about it. It just works away in the background without intervention. It is great at tracking sleep stages and heart rate as I sleep. The app is awesome, it integrates with all my other health apps.Cons: The snore detection is not very good.

Underwhelmed

Takes some time for the data to appear on my phone, certainly not instant and occasionally takes a few days (nothing for days then it all appears. Wake and sleep times don't seem accurate, I'm sometimes awake and the data then reports that I was asleep at that time.
