A bit slow in delivery but good arrived in good condition. This remote control is mode 2. I managed to convert to mode 1. Manufacturer/seller should mention the remote control mode in the advertisement.The plane stabiliser gain is too high resulting in plane oscillation during flight. Unfortunately there is no means to adjust the gain rate.

I bought as a gift for my grand-daughter and we both feel it will be of enormous value for photography. We especially like that it mounts on the camera. I didn't rate it for durability because there hasn't been time to assess that. It is very light though, so I have some concern that it wouldn't survive much of a drop.
GREAT first trainer IF:1. You fly in NO wind conditions the first few times.2. Height is your friend. fly a couple of mistakes high.3. ALWAYS keep the plane out in front.4. DON'T point the tip of the transmitter toward the plane...use a minimumof about 45 degrees....90 degrees is optimum; pointing up and standing kind of sideways to the plane maximizes reception.5. Handle GENTLY...these guys are pretty sturdy for minor crashes, but the get beat up more from transporting and bumping them.6. Never leave your battery fully charged...it will significantly reduce the life and safety of the battery.7, The Cub(high wing) flies a lot easier and more controllable than the "War-birds"...the yellow is much better also for early learning of orientation !
My plane has either a programing or radio flaw. If you use the rudder, and you do with a tail dragger, under higher throttle like for taking off, the rudder will go to full deflection and stay there unless you throttle down, then it will center. Does it high and low rates and with "3D" setting on or off. This explain all the YouTube reviews on this plane complaining of "death spirals" to the ground for no reason. Will test with another battery but I don't think that's the problem.
Did not come with the three batteries as advertised. Rudder did not work out of the box so I never bothered to try it out so I boxed it up and sent it back. Waste of time, and I highly doubt it would have survived one crash as it’s not very well designed as far as the structure of the aircraft is concerned.
The rudder moved too slowly and after assembling it ran once, I turned it off and unplugged the battery and it wouldn’t connect again. Don’t know if it was a problem with the controller or the plane but either way I’ll be returning it
the plane came in a opened package that the former person just threw it back in the box with no protective foam so the transmitter beat up the plane in shipping. one servo was jammed and the motor worked on and off. and one battery pack was damaged.
first off it is a very detailed little plane and i got it at a awesome price, but the skill required to fly it is way beyond "kid or beginner" level! look over videos and other reviews on this and you will quickly learn it is NOT beginner friendly! also it has problems with the gyro system where some work good and others are complete junk, has something to do with the programing of the electronics.
