Lovely knife to use, nicely balanced and easy to clean. We have had ours several months and have yet to sharpen.This is an inexpensive, entry level knife.It comes in a box not the plastic impossible to open packaging. Both our children have moved out and we have bought them several of these.
Blade length and tangs length is perfect. However the diameter of the tang feels quite small. Even as a person with a small hand it somehow feels uncomfortable. However this may be due to me using a new knife and not very used to it.
I am very satisfied with my recent purchase. The knife is sharp enough to efficiently cut through food materials without being overly sharp, which I appreciate. Additionally, it is comfortable to handle, especially important as I am left-handed and often struggle with knives that cause blisters on my palm.
