I waited to do a review because I wanted to see how they actually performed. I’m overly impressed. Above and beyond the expectations. I’ve had these boots for 2 years and 7 months. Never have I ever had boots last this long. I’m just now looking to buy new ones because I’ve finally worn them out. There’s still life left in them though. A seam is beginning to rip right below the ankle. And the tread is worn down just about all the way. So it’s time to think about getting another pair. The other thing I find that is an absolute bonus, every safety toe boot I’ve had wore the leather all the way through exposing the safety toe. Not these. Not by far. I am a mechanic so I’m rolling the top of the boot on the floor all the time and you wouldn’t even notice on these boots. ... MoreI waited to do a review because I wanted to see how they actually performed. They are super comfortable once you break them in for about a week. I’ve used additional insoles for lower back pain but I put them in every shoe I own because of sciatica. So if you want good long lasting boots that will perform exactly how they describe, you have got to get the Overpass. Best ever. Light weight, and super durable. Wide platform to prevent rolling ankle, shoe strings never come undone, really grippy on slippery floors, and keep your feet dry from rain and snow. I can’t say enough about them.

Was looking for some good boots. Work agricultural. Boots made my feet wet couple weeks after buying them. Working in sewage water basically when it rains. Anyways stepping in dog doo doo, then getting into my vehicle I realized after removing the boots that both soles were broken on both shoes after cleaning one of them with a stick. I realized my feet where getting wet in sewage water, and dog doo cramed up into the garment soles after passing all the way up thru the orange and black rubber soles where they no long meet. Found a video on YouTube with a gentleman who had the same happen to him. I believe it is a manufacturer defect they are not willing to recall.

I bought these 3 months ago and they are already falling apart. Both soles are completely splitting, front toe area on both are cracking and coming apart. I only do interior remodeling and they can't even survive 3 months of that type of work. I'm extremely disappointed after spending the amount I did for these boots. If I knew these would fall apart this soon I would have went with a different brand.

Boots are perfect for what I do. I'm a ready mix cement truck driver n these boots are comfortable even after 16 hrs a day, they're flexible n decently light. My only reasoning for not giving 5 stars is I've had them about a year n the bottom/sole is coming apart now. My issue with that is if this is a trend then I'm probably going to move on just because I do not feel like spending $200 a year on boots, I oil the tops of my boots to keep them in good shape for as long as possible, but there's nothing I can do about the sole of it. I'll definitely give an update review on my second pair of shoes in regards to how long they last but other than that these have been my favorite/ best pair of work boots I've owned.
It was hard to break in the boot because of a defect at the toe that made it push into my toe. All of the orange peices in the bottom of the boot started coming off after a month and caused a trip hazard. I pump concrete which is probably one of the hardest professions on boots and these lasted about 10 months before they weren't waterproof anymore. That's a very long time for me. Due to comfort issue and the bottom tread add ons coming off I'd only give this a 2.5-3 stars.
I worked at a place where we get a lot of wet areas. My first pair of these shoes was phenomenal but I moved to a different job that deals with less water and decided to purchase another pair because my first one finally gave up on me for using it for almost 2 years. I’ve had it for almost 3 months now, still feels comfortable, however, I notice that the toe end of my socks get wet when I deal with wet environment. My first one never got wet on the inside but these second pair seems to be more slippery and not water tight at all where just a little spray of water gets your socks wet. Still looks good and comfortable until it gets wet. I hope I can find the receipt so I can get a replacement if the warranty hasn’t expired yet.
I went to buy some leather work boots. I decided to buy the more expensive WOLVERINE Men's Overpass 6" with product that advertised enhanced water resistance and even chemical resistance. The boots at first, were waterproof, but less breathable than others, the compromise was okay for me because i work in wet environments, stepping on puddles, getting hose water on the tops of them. I use them for about 10 hours weekly, and purchased them in 2020 March -- 90 weeks ago, = 900 hours ago. And if this was full time work (40 hours/week), would have been equivalent to 43% of a year. They began to fail in the tops months ago, where the toe crease is, and my foot would get moist. Fair enough, i thought, the membrane is starting to rip. They began to fail in the tops months ago, where the toe crease is, and my foot would get moist. Fair enough, i thought, the membrane is starting to rip. Then recently, the sole began letting in water, because the rubber ripped through where the stylish orange and black rubber meets, and they are now trash. These shoes look great still, but Wolverine sucks. I payed extra, for advertized enhanced water protection, and all for nothing. If i wanted the membrane to fail, i would have gotten $30 shoes, but these were $150+. How come my $70 Hi Tec hiking boots have lasted me 10 years through trecherous terrain, but these rugged workmans' shoes failed in less than half a year of full time work?
My first ever pair of wolverine anything and being in the maintenance field for plastic injection molding im constantly in hydraulic oil and water messes up on the roofs out in the snow hot and cold and I can honestly say best most durable boots I've ever owned. I added a new performance type insole after 6 months but still holding together nothing has fallen apart just wearing on the heel inside upper due to months of abuse witch is completely normal considering there getting completely abused every day I'll be buying another pair today. One year of hard use is actually really good for me. My keen boots lasted 4 months tops and were completely blown up by then.
5 stars my friends. 54 year old here whom started with Plantitsitus at 21 and traversed to Arthritis in both feet. Recently had Sublatar Ankle Fusion in 2022 on my left Ankle. For 30 years I have been on my feet for 10 to 12 hrs a day as a Machinist been thru Iron Age, Red Wing and Twisted X. I changed boot style to the MEN'S OVERPASS CARBONMAX® 6" BOOT. I love these freaking boots because of the support system with the dura shock, support and how they make you feel like you are walking on the moon. I hate taking them off and putting on a Nike Shoe after work. This style of boot saved my lovely hood help me walk like a man who has put a lot of work in and gives me confidence. Thank you
Third pair of Wolverine Boots and these are the most comfortable and supportive I've owned from any brand. I've gotten multiple compliments on their looks too. I had knee replacement surgery and before I started therapy for it, I got these boots for a good solid and stable platform to start off with. I would say they've definitely served their purpose! I wear them all day, every day and no complaints. I'd recommend them to anyone that wants an eye-catching style, great support and all-day comfort. I also got them for a great discount on the price using the website to place my order. Go on and get your own pair, they're worth it!
