I absolutely LOVE this bag! Holds my 72" x 24" Yoga Zeal mat while still being able to take it in and out with ease. The large front zipper pocket holds an energy drink and my booty bands, while the smaller back pocket holds a small deodorant, mini Wet brush, and some small cosmetics. I am a yoga instructor and use this bag daily. It is perfect and exceeded my expectations. So happy with this We Made Too Much purchase!

I purchased this bag to protect my new lu textured 5 ml mat. As i have sensitive knees i prefer to double mat. This bag holds both my 5 ml AND my 3 ml. My mat is super sticky so i had to roll them tightly and evenly and they fit along with my wallet in a pocket. Could not fit my water bottle with the two mats in there but thats ok! Mats are clean and protected in transport. Love the drawstring closure. Perfect for a small towel to stuff on top after your session. This is my fourth lu mat bag over a decade of using your mats and bags and it is the best so far for my needs. Perfect, but a fun print in this bag would entice my to buy a second.

I love it! I can easily fit my yoga mat, two yoga blocks, a mat towel and a hand towel in one bag! The raw linen color does look a little different than what is shown in the website, the actual color is a bit more greener but it does it bother me. There is one slight larger zipper pocket for me to put deodorant and mat spray bottle, and a smaller zipper pocket to put my car key and small wallet! I give it a 10/10!!

The pros first: the pockets and it being waterproof are fantastic. The waterproof quality has already come in handy on commutes to and from the studio on rainy daysCons: the strap is not the most comfortable and I find the whole bag awkward to carry. Also, the bag itself is not feather-light, which is a bummer because my mat is so heavy. I would prefer a more lightweight shell.
I love the size of the bag, the smart colour and its deep pocket. I can fit everything I need for class (keys, towel, mat and water bottle) without needing an extra bag. However, I agree with the previous reviewer that the strap is badly designed and uncomfortable on the shoulder.One thing that would make this bag even better is if it had a side zip as well as a drawstring top, as sometimes my mat gets jammed when I’m trying to get it in and out.
This bag is okay. It’s really difficult to get your mat inside (for reference I use a regular size mat). When putting your mat in it sticks to the extra fabric inside the bag from the bags outside pockets and all the fabric gets bunched up, causing the mat to not slide in. When I finally got my mat inside the bag, I took it out to next day only to realize that the corner of the mat had folded when putting it in the bag the night before and creased my nice new form mat. It’s a pain to put your yoga mat in this bag and not worth the hassle after a class. I love the idea of the deep pockets to hold your gear and water bottle but, the design of the bag could benefit from a few adjustments.
Sturdy and ergonomic bag. Fits my manduka bad tightly rolled. If you have items in the pockets, it is a little tricky to get the mat in, but it is expected as items will take up volume. I do love how this bag has large pockets. Enough for a cleaner, keys. I usually sneak my clean yoga towel in and it fits. I have a linen one and the color is a bit more silvery beige and performs well after hot yoga, no sweat marks on it and no stains thus far.

You would think that the bag would have been made durable enough to carry a branded yoga mat. Also, sliding your mat into the bag can be fairly challenging, as it sticks to the sides. A zipper that runs down the bag would probably make more sense. Another thing is the strap is very uncomfortable, for the price, there would be some sort of shoulder padding support on the strap. When you have a yoga mat and water bottle in the bag, the strap literally cuts off my circulation. The bag itself is nice and spacious. 2 side pockets are very useful. Big enough for a mat, towel, jumper and a bottle of water. Not used it in the rain yet so can't comment on how waterproof it is. That said the shoulder strap is so uncomfortable. The top clip digs right into your shoulder. I am quite surprised that at this price point no one thought this through. I was meaning to use this mat bag across my back as I cycle to the yoga studio but it's too uncomfortable.
I purchase the “highlighter yellow” version of this bag which I can no longer review and was very disappointed. It leaked the color on my new expensive Manduka mat. I’d be very cautious purchasing this.The bag is also poorly designed where it doesn’t easily fit over one’s shoulders and is oblong.Would not recommend. Waste of money.
