Womens Hoka Mach 6 Cloudless / Waterpark / US 7.5
The HOKA Mach 6 is designed for runners who want to get the most out of their training and competitions. The HOKA Mach is a comfortable fast shoe. The shoe is designed for runners who want to get the most out of their training and competitions. Take your performance to the next level with this competition shoe! Midsole To make your runs comfortable, HOKA has added lightweight resilient foam that provides plenty of cushioning and effective protection while running. The EVA insole provides extra support where necessary and ensures a flexible fit. Upper The open structure of the jacquard mesh upper increases the breathability of the shoe, while the textured yarns ensure that sweat can escape and the shoe remains dry on the inside. The elasticity of mesh increases comfort levels and support as mesh follows every movement of the foot. The bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top of the heel counter remains flexible, soft and comfortable. The advantage of this is that it does not create pressure on your heel bone. The pleated tongue of this shoe is connected to the upper on both sides, preventing dirt from entering the shoe and keeping the tongue centered. Wear sole The outsole is made of durabrasion rubber and has a coarse profile for great grip on any type of surface. Zones of abrasion-resistant rubber have been added to the heel and forefoot for improved durability. The geometry of the outsole is designed to ensure inherent stability and an efficient stride. You'll feel every step brings you closer to the finish in the HOKA Mach 6, with maximum grip, optimal cushioning and a lightweight design.

I truly wanted to love this shoe, but it was impossible.I'm a Hoka customer and I have relatively wide foot, so this brand has been just what I need. Obviously every shoe/model is different, so I've had to order some on wide, some regular.Anyway, I ordered this pair on 7, they immediately felt smaller than my other 7 size pairs. I still went for a run. Got a blister on a 5 mile run, I've only ever got blisters while doing ultras.I did an exchange for the wide; on a different note, since they've been stealing packages at my building, I've been choosing pick up points instead. First delivery was made through UPS and delivered perfectly (apart from the sizing not being great for me).The exchange for some reason was made through FedEx, they delivered it somewhere ... MoreI truly wanted to love this shoe, but it was impossible.I'm a Hoka customer and I have relatively wide foot, so this brand has been just what I need. She was amazing.Today I finally received my Mach 6, size 7 wide. Totally disappointed, this are probably the tightest shoes I own and doing a night treadmill run was beyond uncomfortable.I guess for the fourth time, I'll need to place an order and exchange this pair for a different model, because I just don't see myself ever running comfortable with them. Disappointed from the shoe and from the hassle that receiving them has been.Definitely run smaller than every other Hoka shoes that I've ever had.

I've tried different brands of sneakers and I have to say that HOKA is one of my favorites. It provides better support and cushion when I run. I've always had an issue with my knees and ankles. This is my first time running in Mach 6. It is comfortable and my knee issues have lessened. The problem I have with this version is the narrowness. My normal size is 7.5D. I try not to purchase beyond 7.5 only because I find the top of the shoe tends to flip upward if it is too long, making it look like genie shoes. 7.5D was too narrow so I hesitantly tried 8D. It actually is not that much longer and the widest part of my foot aligns with the widest part of the shoe and so far, no issues with my feet hurting/blistering after a run. Normally I don't want to be negative or leave bad reviews but I think it is good for others to know. Everyone has different taste and feel about shoes, especially running shoes. I've been running in HOKA for the last 2ish years on a daily basis, switching from Ultraboost and Brooks. I agree with many reviewers about this model, it is totally different feeling than Mach 5 and Mach 4. Although Mach 5 and Match 4 are slightly different on the toe box for me but not a major notice. I just came back from my morning 5 miles run in Mach 6 and my right foot was numbed, tingling, left foot started to feel a bit uncomfortable. I had to stop twice to adjust my shoe lace and hopefully it can help with the numbing but it didn't help. Im still debating if i should change it to Clifton or not. On a seperate note, Clifton 9 is working for me pretty well, although it feels different than Clifton 8, but both models don't give me any discomfort for my 5-6 miles daily run. Arahi 6 & 7 fall into my "question" section as well compare to Arahi 5, guess, more to come.

Let me start off by saying that the Mach 6 is a solid shoe. I was coming back from a horrible ACL + 3 others things in my knee. Surgery last year and fell in love with the Mach 5. So much so that they were completely worn down and I had an emotional attachment to them given that they helped me run again. Huge win. They felt stable but not a stability show. Offered enough responsiveness but I still felt "safe" -if you've had a knee surgery you know what I mean. I was stoked to see the match 6 design. Nervous becasue it looks a lot different to me when compared to the 5s. But happy to report that the over all feel was the same. The ONLY critique I have of the new update is the toe box is smaller. I went with the same size (maybe a half size up would have been better) ... MoreLet me start off by saying that the Mach 6 is a solid shoe. I went with the same size (maybe a half size up would have been better) and they're fine but I did notice that difference and I prefer the toe box of the 5s. The all pink color is also gorgeous! This shoe can also do it all. Long slow days, sprints, intervals, walking etc.
Did not feel the hypersonic flow that the shoes name implied. More of a failure to launch in the first place. I had the Mach 4 & still cherish them for shorter runs & speed workouts. They still feel good and now managing usage to extend life because Mach 6 feels all wrong for my feet. Fit feels way more snug around middle/front of foot. It’s the right size. Bigger size was too big and back of my heel had space. It looks like I jammed my foot into a gas slipper — looks so constricted that when I mentioned the discomfort to my teammates on my second attempt to wear them, they immediately said yes they look tight. There was a moment mid run when I was like ok I can’t feel the tightness it’s ok. Didn’t have this issue with other hokas (Clifton’s/bondi)Also, it looks like REI finally fixed the photo for the black colorful pair bc I did not get what I thought I was getting. The colors I had ordered spoke to my soul and I started my trial at “meh” level. I did try to overcome my biases but it was just the start of the end of a beautiful relationship with Mach. Hence this long goodbye review. Hope you have better luck with yours.
These are literally the best running shoes I have ever tried. The quality is top-notch-durable fabric and materials that can take a beating. But what really blew my mind was the comfort. As someone who runs for that sweet dopamine rush and the free therapy nature offers, I've been doing 10Ks a few times a week for 25 years. These are probably my favorite running shoes, ever! I don't know why it took me so long to try Hoka; I was a Kinvara fanatic for decades. Thanks to Run Repeat reviews, I gave these a shot, and boy, best decision of 2024 so far. These are the most responsive, plush shoes I've ever worn. As a neutral runner with small, bony feet and a medium arch, this is the first pair I didn't have to break in. As a neutral runner with small, bony feet and a medium arch, this is the first pair I didn't have to break in. On my first day, I left the house for my usual 6 miles and decided, why not cross the bridge and tack on an additional 10 miles because why not. When it comes to running shoes, I channel my inner child-the brighter, the better-and Hoka does not disappoint. The yellow/orange/pink combo is an absolute showstopper. Just please, Hoka, don't mess with these shoes. If you do, give me a heads-up.CON: If you're looking for a grounded feel, these are not it. And I wouldn't recommend them for trails-you need grip for wet conditions.Happy running, friends!
The Mach series is my absolute favourite running shoe but I prefer previous iterations. I run on the road between 35-70+ miles a week. I run about 8'08"min/mile pace. I wear women's 8.5 in Nike, 9 in Veja, 8 in Hoka (regular width). My non-sneaker shoe size is 8. I prefer light shoes that are still a bit stabilizing. I land on my big toe/the left ball of my feet, feet pointing in.For me, this doesn't fit *exactly* the same as previous Machs - it's not too small per se, but the toe area is slightly different than the other Mach shoes and not in a good way because the rest of the size is the same, sizing up is too big for me. I also find the fabric is wearing much faster than all other Hokas I've had. However, it's still my favourite running shoe, and I would buy again, I'd just choose Mach 4/5 over 6. It's very bouncy, super super light, the bottom is durable so far (with regards to support/cushioning/bounce), they dry really fast after rain, and they're very breathable. The traction isn't great but it's not bad - just slippery on sand.Overall I like this and would recommend, I just LOVED the Mach 4. They were so durable. I hope the next Mach can bring back some elements from previous Machs.
I used to wear Brooks but I had major surgery and they did not work for me post-op. I got fitted at a local store and the Mach 5 was my first pair of Hokas. I have bought about 6 pairs of them because I had difficulty walking in anything else after my surgery. They were the ideal shoe for me - no foot pain, able to wear them to the gym or casually if need be. The Mach 6 kills my feet. There is too much cushion under the heel - it feels nice initially but it makes walking awkward. I had never had ankle pain until I wore the Mach 6 to the gym. I am beyond disappointed that the style changed so much. The 6 runs smaller, the tongue is weird and does not stay in place and again, they are too cushioned in heel area. I don't even understand how this is considered the same ... MoreI used to wear Brooks but I had major surgery and they did not work for me post-op. I don't even understand how this is considered the same model as the 5. Hoka should have renamed it and left the 5 alone for those of us who were happy with them. Not sure what I am going to do when I can no longer find the 5 on the internet. I have stocked up as much as I can. May end up having to wear another brand.
I've had chronic pain from bone spurs and plantar fasciitis since February of this year. I'm an avid runner, have been running since my early teens and now it's caught up to me. I have been a fan of minimalist running shoes for most of this time, and my podiatrist said that my shoes were the issue. I didn't want to listen and he even made me some stupid inserts which were annoying to wear. But, finally during my last visit I asked him what brands he would recommend and he recommended this one. I raised my brows because I've always been against clunky running shoes, but figured I had nothing to lose and thought it would be better than the inserts. So, I ordered my first pair, the Mach 6, the lightest Hoka, and after wearing them my feet have been hurting less and less! I have been on two runs this past week as I'm taking it slow for now, and my left heel is still a little achy but it's so much better than the constant pain I had been living with. I'm so happy that I'm able to run again without pain. I'm ordering my second pair today, the Bondi 8. Turns out my feet do like clunky running shoes.
TLDR: If you have a wide foot, consider sizing up even more.My full experience:I loveee the Hoka Mach shoes. I just bought my seventh pair. I started buying them when they were the Mach 4s, had one of the Mach Xs, and now am into the Mach 5s.I have an extremely short, wide foot. (My ideal shoe size is a women's size 5.5 extra wide.) In Hokas, I can normally size up half a size and order the wide version. However, the toe box on the Mach 5 is a lot different than I'm used to, and it really impacted my use of the shoe. I ran in a pair of my normal (for Hoka shoes) size 6 wide and had a lot of trouble, especially once I crossed the 200-mile threshold. My feet would just acheeee for days after a long run. I finally realized it was a combination of the toe box ... MoreTLDR: If you have a wide foot, consider sizing up even more.My full experience:I loveee the Hoka Mach shoes. I finally realized it was a combination of the toe box being so much narrower than I was used to + how that impacted my normally neutral strike. I bought another pair of the Mach 5s in 6.5 wide (a full size up from my ideal size), and I am happy to report that the toe box feels better and the shoe overall works a lot better for me (even though it is a little long).
