I got this book some time last year and have read it about three Times over. This an amazing book for its quality of writing and the price of it. I especially love the sequel to this book called Auggie and me. Highly recommend this book to all ages. Amazing
This is a wonderful book, my 10 year old grandson told me about this, I am a retired nurse and used to audit Miami Childrens and would see some of these little tykes with problems, this is a must read for everyone, it for sure tells the story of a brave young man and his courage. I just could not put it down, I am going to the read the next one in the series
This book is about a young boy 'August' age 10 who has Treacher Collins Syndrome. It tells the story of him starting school for the first time after being home schooled and the challenges that he, and his friends and family faced. This book is very well written and really tugs at the heart strings. It made me cry!! Wonder is suitable for a young person, probably 10 years+
I missed seeing this at the movies unfortunately so grabbed the chance to read the book. It is perfect to take away as I didn't want to put down and short chapters are nice and easy to read. Lovely story - looking forward to eventually seeing the movie to see it brought to life.
A friend lent me her copy of this and highly recommended it. After reading it for myself, my husband and then our 11 year-old son read it. It has touched us so much that I have bought a copy for every one of my son's friends who has a Birthday in the immediate future. I think it should be made a part of mainstream curriculum. It's message is a powerful one, and the story is totally credible. It comes very highly recommended from our family!
Read the book, see the movie! Great life lessons especially for kids My take away question to my grandkids was: Would you be yhe one to be a friend to someone who needs one?
