Recently replaced my much loved and expensive down doona with this wool star 2 layer washable one and I am very happy with the warmth, comfort .the ability to seperate the different warmth layers for different seasons is also unique.love it.

We love this quilt. It is perfect for the cold winter we've had. Now the nights are getting a little warmer and have gone to the single option for the winter/spring change and its working out nicely. It does have some weight to it, but it's comfortable. Once you've used it for awhile you will get use to the weight and the sound of new quilt fads and have a good sleep

I have been using this quilt set on my bed for six months now.I can confirm that these quilts are machine washable, so long as your washing machine is large enough. The wool filling stays even and flat.The japara cotton cover feels very smooth, crisp, and tightly woven. However, it does make a bit of a rustling noise; this is simply the nature of japara. It does get quieter after a couple washes. (Personally, I quite enjoy it because I associate it with high-end hotel bedding, but it may be a problem for very light sleepers.)The general build quality is very good: Strong stitches, good zippers, etc. I think these will last for a long time.

Very good product, keeps our 3yo warm enough without overheating (unlike the previous microfibre quilt she had, which cooked her every night). The only negative is that the quilt casing is not very soft (cotton Japara) and makes a lot of noise when you move it (almost like plastic - so no sneaking off when you think they're nearly asleep). Cotton sateen would have been much better and I'd have preferred to pay a little more for a better/softer/quieter casing but the next quilt up was the ultimate, which was just too much. So in summary for the price point it's ok but a better option would have been if there was a wool quilt with a sateen casing

Love the versatility this 3 in 1 product has in catering for all seasons. The 200gsm quilt is ideal for warmer months, with the second quilt giving 2 further options for cooler months. Australian made and great quality.

Love the quality of Woolstar Quilts which I have been buying for years. I think this lite quilt at 350gsm is not that lite. It is quite warm and has a heavy feel. I am getting too hot and waking up with it. Woolstar make another quilt called an ECO extra lite which is 250 msg and i think this would be better for me.

We live at altitude and experience cold winters. This was replacing a lower rated wool doona. However we are already having to add the usual extra winter blanket to this with both layers in use. It's not performing at the warmth level we expected for this price. Very disappointed. I find the combined layers quite thin.

Perfect quilt ever! So warm but not too hot. Best night sleeps in years since having this. Would recommend it especially if you suffer from hot flushes as it breathes and seems to adjust to your body temperature. Love love love it!!

Easy Wash 3 in 1 Wool Quilt Set.

I have found the medium weight wool quilt snug and cosy for the weathers present needs and am looking forward to experimenting with the others weights when needed. I am unable to comment on the Easy Wash aspect as yet. I also purchased the wool pillows and protectors and find them so soft and comfortable.I feel I have slept better without the chill creeping in.
