Packed in Turkey. I picked up this 6 pack of Aussie Natural Almonds and they were priced at $4. After removing the outer plastic that seals the 6 packs I found the individual boxes were not sealed and exposed to air which is fine if you are going to eat or use all six boxes immediately. However, it does recommend on the box to store them in an airtight container once opened which is a bit inconvenient. Especially if you want to leave a few packs around like in your bag for emergency snacks. I think it would be better to seal all packets individually or rethink the packaging in small bags. Whilst I love natural almonds I think these were not as crunchy as they should be. They are called Aussie natural Almonds on the front of the box, and âpacked for Woolworthsâ but I note on the website that they are packed in Turkey; this information should be included on the box and is a major omission.

Easy great healthy snack. Tasty, fresh and very healthy. Had a great crunch which showed they were nice and fresh with a really good flavor, considering they were natural. I did expect them to taste quite bland as they were natural but they had a nice mild flavor that I very much enjoyed. Usually I purchase a large packet size, however I really liked the individual boxes as they were easy to take to work. It beat having to divide them into your own containers for each family member as very easy to grab and go. I found the boxes to be very good as I have a habit of eating too many and not feeling well, so the boxes made sure I did not over indulge, so this was an added bonus for me. Excellent these are a product of Australia, with a 5 star health rating and the price was really good at $16. 67 a kg which is very competitive. With all this in mind I will be purchasing these again.

Handy size. These 6 boxes are handy to have in your drawer at work for a quick healthy snack. Yes it is much cheaper to buy your own bigger packs like I usually do but for my husband its about portion control as he turns a good snack into a bad one by eating way too many. These almonds had a used by date fo 15/9/2022 and my pack contained almost 30 almonds and they all looked perfect, not bad for a 30g serving size. I found by the time I had finished the box though, I'd had enough of them. I think they may need to be mixed in with some other nuts and fruit, which is what I did for the remaining boxes. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives (Not sure why the box says this as 100% almonds are exactly that) Australian almondsGood source of Vitamin E Source of ... MoreHandy size. So much unnecessary packaging. I received these as a sample, wouldn't get them otherwise. I'm not a big fan of almonds, I find most other nuts tastier and from an environmental standpoint almonds are terrible due to the amount of water and pesticides required to grow them. As much as I love to support Australian grown, we are a drought stricken country for the most part, yet so much water is used to grow these. I'm presuming they must be grown in QLD or something that actually gets reasonable rain compared to the rest of the country, so hoping it's not taking water from already struggling areas. I also would never buy single serve pre-portioned packs. Personally I would rather just buy 1 larger pack and use that as I like as I don't tend to snack on almonds. When I got these home I emptied all the packets into a jar instead, I did use the boxes to fill with other nuts and dried fruitthat my kids would eat when we went camping though so they did not go to waste.
Convenient little packs of nuts. Always pleasantly surprised when I receive a nut sample as I love them! These Aussie Natural almonds are crunchy, taste fresh and apart from that thereâs not much else to say. As they are supposed to be 100% natural almonds, they havenât been roasted, they donât have any additional flavouring or salt added to them and therefore taste exactly how almonds should taste 6 mini boxes filled with 30g of nuts each, each box equates to a generous handful. Majority of almonds were whole but a few were only halves (nothing that bothers me!) Priced at $4 for 180g, is reasonable but I suppose youâre paying for the extra packaging. Instead it says please dispose of empty packaging thoughtfully, suggesting it does go in the bin These are nice almonds and will be thoroughly enjoyed but Iâm quite happy to purchase a larger bag and dish them out into smaller portions myself.
Healthy & Delicious. Here we have a 6 pack of Aussie Natural Almonds. They retail for $3. 00. Boasting a 5â health rating, each box is 30g & is advertised as a Healthy Handful. These are pure, with nothing added. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. They are a good source of vitamin E, Protein & Fibre. Thank You for the sample.
A handy little snack pack. I was very excited to receive this snazzy little 6 pack sample of almonds as they are very versatile as both a snack or to use in your cooking. First of all I noticed the price is fabulous and much cheaper per kilo when compared to a packet of Almonds which I've purchased before to use in my cooking. This snack pack is $16-67 per kilo as opposed to $17-11 with a packet. With a total of 180 grams this suits me better in particular with my cooking needs as it means less to store when compared to the larger packets so it stays fresher for longer. These mini packs remind me of the little packs of sultanas I had in primary school so I think most kids would like to have one in their lunch box too. Australian product but stale. Thanks Woolworths for the sample. I gave it to my neighbour for her teenage children. She normally purchases nuts from a bulk buy farmers/grocery shop. This sample is a good concept, 30 grams per individual packet, ideal for a snack or lunch boxes (where permitted). She retained the individual packets for future refilling and use. Product of Australia - Packaged in Turkey. âAccording to my enquiry to Woolworths it is primarily the cost factor. It is cheaper to âď¸ them to and from Turkey for processing and packaging than have them processed and packaged here. Not so good from an environmental standpoint. (There are several processing/packaging plants that process nuts locally but on a smaller sale). Turkey is also a large grower of ... MoreAustralian product but stale. (There are several processing/packaging plants that process nuts locally but on a smaller sale). Turkey is also a large grower of almonds so there is no guarantee the packaged almonds are all Australian product. I doubt there is a separate production line by Country of Origin. Not important to some but it is for us. The almonds when eaten were ok, a lot of nuts were quite soft and tasted stale. There were plenty of whole almonds, still in their skin. The almond skin is high in antioxidants. Overall, useful for those who are time poor or prefer individual packets for a quick transportable snack pack. I would not buy these as I do not purchase Australian grown food that has more travel time than we do.
Crunchy convenient snack. As fans of almonds, the whole family were excited to see this sample go in the trolley. Found in the dried fruits and nuts aisle, with the other âlunchbox snack packsâ this product was easy to locate. The distinctive orange packaging was bright and enticing, the almonds clearly shown on the individual cardboard boxes and the âproduct of Australiaâ claim clearly evident. As my childrenâs school is nut free, this product wasnât able to be sent in their lunchboxes which made the convenient six pack kind of redundant. A large bag which I could portion out at home would suit fine and be more cost effective. However, for those who can send these to school, theyâre ideal. One negative was the plastic wrap around the boxes wasnât easy to open and just ripped so the boxes all came loose. Another negative⌠and I canât believe Iâm actually saying this ⌠is that the serving was a too big for my kids. Yep, there were too many nuts in the box and a smaller serve would suffice for my children. So again, the individual boxes are redundant for my family. The nuts themselves were delicious. Decent size, crunchy and flavoursome. I could not fault the actual product at all. I highly recommend this product for a portion controlled, heathy snack. I personally wouldnât buy it again but I can see how it would suit many people who need a lunchbox/work snack solution.
