Good for a quick dinner. I cooked these in the airfryer and they came out beautifully golden after turning halfway through. The ham and cheese filling didn't seep out like the garlic butter version but we didn't find the cheese and ham filling as tasty as the garlic version, which we much prefer. Each kyiv is quite large for Miss and myself, but Mr W easily polished it off. I wouldn't repurchase this as we all enjoy the garlic butter kyivs better and I only buy them at half price as we like "real" chicken rather than processed.

Yummy and easy but not the healthiest. Who doesn't love a quick and easy dinner?! Pop these in the oven and cook up some veggies/rice/salad and you're good to go. These are tasty and convenient. I don't love the cheese and ham filling quite as much as the original kievs, but it's still nice. These go very nice and crispy when baked in the oven. I can't lie, I do enjoy these on occasion, but I don't love that it's so processed, there are lots of ingredients in these kievs e. g. water, colouring, oil, preservatives, thickeners etc. and you'd be much better off crumbing and baking chicken breasts if you have the time/money/inclination. I appreciate the sample but won't be buying these again.

On the fence, I’d go for the garlic. This product has a 3. 5 star health rating and is made from 85%Australian ingredients. Price wise it is amazing value for a family with 700gms, however it only contains 60% chicken, which is RSPCA approved. The packaging is also recyclable, but the covering film must be discarded. Disappointingly this product can not be frozen but it does have a decent shelf life from purchase. The crumb was crisp on top but soggy on the bottom (air fryer is better to avoid the soggy bottom. ) The coating tasted nice but needs some seasoning. The chicken was not dry and was well cooked. It was the cheesy, ham centre that got me on the fence. It tastes ok, it’s cheesy and has an ok flavour but the ham wasn’t in lumps or chunks, it was purĂ©ed up in the sauce, I think I would of preferred ham pieces over this. It didn’t look appealing to my eye and the ham taste was somewhat lost. They were ok, but I would only get if the creamy garlic was unavailable

High Quality Product. This Chicken Kyiv is a high quality product. The chicken is tender and tasty; and the blend/balance of chicken with ham and cheese is just right. I often buy Chicken Kyiv in the garlic version from the WW Deli counter for similar reasons. This pre-packaged product appears to be of the same quality. Highly recommended for dinner with vegetables or salad... not too many carbohydrates required.

Not bad at all. * Not a sample. They were a substitute for a brand name product in my online order. I was apprehensive as I had sampled creamy garlic Kyiv’s and they presented as very much a drier processed chicken product. These Kyiv’s cooked up nicely in the airfryer. I served them with a tossed mixed salad and sweet potato fries. The crumb was crisp and crunchy and the chicken appeared to be more like chicken in texture and appearance than formed chicken usually does. The filling was tasty and adequate for the size of the Kyiv. It was a quick and easy lunch with friends as I had four thawed Kyiv’s that needed to be used. The actual product I had ordered was a frozen one. There were no complaints from any of the diners. They won’t be a regular purchase but I would ... MoreNot bad at all. * Not a sample. Delicious and easy to cook. These weren’t a Bunch product but we enjoyed them so much I’m writing a review. It’s nice to have an option without garlic - ham and cheese is a great alternative. They do have less cheese than some of the other brands but it’s an advantage as the cheese doesn’t leak out and end up all over the baking pan. This cheese stays in the chicken where it’s meant to be. They went a delicious crispy golden brown on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. We will definitely have them again.

Thawed product. As a household with only one person, my intention was to cook two, eating one immediately and the other couple of nights later, then freeze the other two to cook at a later date. Unfortunately, the product already is thawed and “not suitable for home freezing”. This just means no matter how good it is, I won’t buy it again. The cook time was pretty close to the instructions, but I would like them to have browned more so I turned the heat up towards the end and left them in a little longer. I served it with a mixed salad and mashed potato with mustard and dill (I forgot to stir in the dill
what a dill I am!). Mashed potato is also a pain for one person, so I used two potatoes while I was going to the trouble to serve two portions as planned. Even two ... MoreThawed product. Even two potatoes is too much for two serves of mash. The Kyiv was quite tasty, however, I always thought chicken Kyiv should be very garlicky and buttery, and this it was not. I think it would be more appropriate to call it “Crumbed chicken breast roll with ham and cheese filling. ”In the end I cooked all four, and I suppose I will have to freeze two of them to reheat later. If anyone has suggestions on how I can use them in the next couple of days without freezing, your thoughts would be most welcome. Of course, if I have to eat them four days in a row, I will be sick to death of them. As mentioned earlier, I will not buy this again as it’s not suitable for a single person household.

Quick easy meal. This was a sample but we often buy these when they're on sale and we want to be lazy with an easy meal. There is a lot of filling inside which tastes good and is creamy so doesn't escape all over the plate which was a win because I hate my foods touching. Size wise they're the same as I remember growing up with, unlike the deli ones which are about half the size now. I cooked them in the air fryer following the instructions and they went crispy. They're $9. 50 when not on sale. We will continue to buy

Tasted great, but wish it was less processed. This was a great opportunity to try out these chicken kyiv's. Great as a quick meal, but it is a shame that is is really processed. You would hope that there is more chicken in this, but it is 60% and the filling wasn't completely full of the ham and cheese filling. The kyiv's cooked well in the oven. They came out golden brown and some oozed out with cheese, mmm. The ham wasn't really visible in the middle, so that was a shame. However, it still tasted good along the sides I served it with. Kids enjoyed the meal with a side of smooth potato mash and vegetables. If I'm in need of a quick fix, I honestly still would buy this again. Good to see it's made in Australia. Thanks Bunch!

Disappointing processed chicken product. At $9. 50 these were well priced for four. However I realised why after preparing them - they have a processed chicken taste/look as opposed to being unprocessed chicken breast/thigh. The ham is also non-existent but the filling does have a ham flavour to it. For this product I do prefer the creamy garlic filling. These were disappointing overall despite being half the price of similar products at the butcher and unfortunately I can only rate them as average. Would not re-purchase.
