It's a great option for cooking and baking. It's a great option for cooking and baking. It's 100% canola oil and is a natural source of monounsaturated fat, which is good for heart health. It has a light flavour, so it won't overpower the taste of dishes. That's what makes it so versatile. I have been using this oil past 5 years and I have used it for frying, sautéing, baking, and even as a substitute for butter in baking recipes.

As good as any other. This canola oil is as good as any branded product and is a great price. I cut up some potatoes and kumera and tossed them with the some of the canola oil, herbs and seasoning in a freezer bag. I then cooked them in the air-fryer and they came out perfectly. While I do mostly use olive oil this was a good reasonable priced alternative. Product of AustraliaPrice at just $3. 95 for the 750ml bottle. I would buy this again.

Canola Oil. First time I've used canola oil as I usually use light taste olive oil. This was easy to find on the shelf in the aisle with all the other oils. Happy as it's a product of Australia. Has 4. 5 HSR good. Natural source of Omega 3 another good point. Price @$7. 4 for 2L is good, cheaper than the olive oil I buy. Bottle and cap are recyclable. Great for all cooking methods and it's mild in flavour. No artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. Now for the taste test cooked my fresh homemade noodles in it to make crispy noodles to top my salad, they cooked up good and I couldn't taste the oil like they did when I cooked them in the vegetable oil sample a couple of weeks back. The next test will be seeing what it is like in my gluten free bread when I make ... MoreCanola Oil. First time I've used canola oil as I usually use light taste olive oil. Thank you bunch for the opportunity to try this sample much appreciated.

Good oil at a good price. Got this oil from my local Woolies last week, as it was on Everyday Rewards points booster. Pleasant and mild tasting, it has a high-ish smoke point and perfect for Asian for stir fries and Western dishes for sauteeing. I used the oil in an asian stir fry meatballs and asparagus dish, as well as in a carrot cake. Both dishes turned out well. Good priced oil, at $3. 95. I will now google more recipes using oil in cakes, as it's my new pantry staple.

Great all rounder. Made in Australia, low cost, and brilliant for everyday use in multiple applications. What isn't to like about this product? We usually opt for the Woolworths Select sunflower oil in our house after being recommended to use sunflower oil for cooking by our daughters dietitian. I looked into the properties of sunflower and canola oil and discovered that canola oil actually contains omega-3 fatty acids, a type of polyunsaturated that can help decrease high triglycerides. I used this product to lightly coat home made potato chips that went into the air fryer, used a dash to sauté onions and garlic for my risotto, and even added some to a cake mix. Such a versatile and great value product at $3. 95 for a 750mL bottle Will definitely be purchasing again.

Fantastic product. I use quite a bit of oil and was delighted to receive this 2 litre bottle of golden canola oil. I have used used it for frying and baking and great for curries and stews. This sample came at a perfect time when I had just cleaned out the deep fryer and needed a bottle of oil to replace it. Chips came out a golden brown and the smell was definitely not as strong as some others it was also good for cooking the croquettes. This Woolworths oil will definitely be making a coming into my pantry.

Great value and taste. I recently had the opportunity to try out canola oil from Woolworths. It has a mild flavor and a light texture that makes it perfect for frying, sautéing, and baking. The oil is also extremely versatile and can be used in a variety of ways. I use it mainly to deep fry spring rolls cause it has a high smoking point and it tastes better with a mild flavour. This is a good choice to buy for great value.

Good value. I recently had the opportunity to try out canola oil, and I wanted to share my thoughts and experiences in this review. Love this size. There aren't too many other brands with larger sizes canola oil available, this one for $7. 4 for 2L compared to another brand $9 for 2L. Not bad! Especially 2L size oil hardly goes on sale. I use canola oil to home make chilli oil a lot so definitely the larger the better. I wouldn't be able to taste any difference between brands so definitely will continue to stick to this!

No unnecessary pull tabs! Aside from the price and quality of this product, the other thing that i like is the fact that it does not have the unnecessary pull tabs that (more often than not), breaks when you pull it, so you’d have to stab the plastic seal with a knife, and it’s very inconvenient!Woolies brand got their packaging right. It’s sealed well, does not leak, and eliminates the use of extra plastic that’s not needed. See attached photo showing other brand’s pull tab. Woolies brand on the right.
