I prefer beef mince but this is good for a change. I have thought about buying chicken mince for ages but haven't bothered until I saw it at 1/2 priceChicken meatballs are on the menu I also picked up some super cheap mushrooms so they got used tooThe mince was well minced, smelt and looked fine, it was a little wet but chicken mince can be. I made up a huge batch of chicken meatballs ( recipe will be on Bunch soon) and had the first of them for dinner tonight. They tasted great and had good texture. Chicken mince still isn't my favourite as it is milder but for a change or to add to your normal meatloaf recipe its great

Stir-fry chicken. We enjoyed a lovely teriyaki stir-fry with chicken mince. The meat is good quality and tasty. No gritty or overly fatty bits with fillers like others I've tried, and not much water in the tray so it's mainly meat. The whole family enjoyed the taste, texture and low fat content of this mince. This is a grocery staple product for good reason!!

Extremely versatile! I found the Woolworths Chicken Mince excellent quality. As we are a smaller household I used half the packet for a chicken san chow bow with heaps of yummy ingredients like water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and mushrooms, and the other half was used to make homemade chicken rissoles. I can see myself using more chicken mince in my cooking in the future as it's lean and reasonably priced.

Makes Great Rissoles. Have purchased this product many times to make chicken rissoles. Not too much fat and find it economical with just the two of us. To the mince I add, breadcrumbs, egg, Mrs Ball’s Peach Mango Chutney, salt and pepper, delicious!Great texture, have never found any bony or gristle pieces in this mince, low fat, so I do find I need to use a bit more oil than I would with beef mince when I’m cooking the rissoles.

Convenient and versatile minced meat. I love having minced meat on hand because it is super adaptable, convenient and delicious to cook with — especially great for bulk cooking multiple portions and being able to easily modify each serving into a different meal, saving a lot of labour without having to eat the same thing repeatedly! My favourite go-to mince is pork as I find it has the best flavour and versatility, but chicken mince is a decent substitute if you are after a meat that feels nice and light both in flavour and on your stomach. Being lean and bland it absorbs flavour really well and I find you bring out its best when paired with strong spicy seasoning and herbs.

Great to use for Chicken patties or burgers. Picked this up and tried one of the yummy recipes from one of our bunch members (Chicken Cheese Patties). Mixed up really well and cooked easily enough, not a great deal of liquid in the bottom of the tray. Had plenty on the shelf with a long date on all of them. Costwise I find it expensive but it seems all mince products are expensive at the moment so probably falls in line with current costing. Good that it contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and a bonus that it is 100% Australian RSPCA Approved Chicken. I would probably purchase this again in the future if there was a need for it but when trying to budget, this most likely wouldn't be something I would purchase too often due to the price as my ... MoreGreat to use for Chicken patties or burgers. Healthy and Tasty . I fried this first without breaking it up too finely. Browned up nicely and not too much fat coming away. I then added to the slow cooker with a jar of Sharwoods Butter Chicken and plenty of assorted vegies plus a tin of butter beans and tomatoes. Made up a large batch and I was able to freeze the leftovers. I have eaten the fresh and reheated frozen meals and both tasted great. A healthy and tasty alternative addition to my meals. Will buy again.

Lean mince. I decided to use this lean mince to make burritos, having recently bought a burrito kit at Woolies on a half price special. With added kidney beans and diced mushrooms it made enough filling for eight burritos and leftovers to freeze for another meal. Alternative uses could be burgers, rissoles or sausage rolls. The chicken is Australian grown with no additives. The packaging doesn't give a health star rating, which would be nice to have. The tray and film are not recyclable. At $6. 00 for 500g this seems reasonably priced. Chicken mince is not something I would usually buy but I will consider this in future. Thanks for the sample Bunch.

Household staple! Chicken Mince is so versatile. Rissoles, meatballs, chicken tacos, spaghetti bakes. This time I used it for chicken Sausage rolls. I added a Grated zuchiini, 2 Grated Carrots, finely chopped onion and garlic. Squeezed out the liquid, and added 1 egg, half a cup of bread crumbs, salt and pepper, bbq sauce, some fresh parsley and baked in Puff pastry. Perfect school holiday snacks! Thanks bunch, I will definitely be purchasing again :)

Chicken for the Cacciatore. I wasn't sure what I was going to make with the chicken mince, so I checked out some of the Woolworths recipes and chose to make Chicken Cacciatore with Pasta. It was easy to make, it made 4 servings and I was able to save the ingredients to my list, so I knew what I needed to make this recipe. The Chicken mince was delicious in this meal and at a very affordable price I will be buying it again. I forgot to take a photo of the meal cause it didn't last long enough, but I have included a picture from Woolworths website.
