Delicious. I was so pleased to receive a packet of these as a sample. One of my favourite biscuits you can buy are a name brand version of these, so had been eyeing these off. Definitely lived up to my expectations: a good ratio of chocolate to biscuit to caramel. Lovely smooth caramel that wasn't too sweet, chocolate that melts in your mouth. The biscuit was a little soft, but worked well all together. Definitely would purchase again, especially as these are much cheaper. One star off for the packaging. These plastic packages are not resealable or reusable and are difficult to recycle with the pause of the Redcycle program. Recently some chocolate bars have moved to paper packaging; perhaps there will be something easily adapted to biscuits.

These Choccy Caramels are stuck with us! We are already big fans of these in our house! We have all too often bought these - I don’t think I want to remember how often they have been eaten within a day……mostly….. or all by me . We are huge fans of Woolworths Chocolate Biscuits in our home. Love the range, variety but mostly the price!!!!! $2. 25 a pack is awesome! These Choccy Slams have delicious Caramel and a lovely crunchy bottom. The Milk Chocolate itself is always delicious and we always enjoy ours from the fridge. Beware though - they are truly addictive! I’m not sure if there is a Choccy Caramel support group - but if there is I might need the details - it’s real - and it’s deep

More filling. I was very excited to sample this product. For $2. 25, they are a treat that doesn’t break the bank. However, not all treats in the biscuit aisle are equal. The biscuit is the main flavour and texture when tasting. It is tasty but with the name being Choccy Caramels, those two ingredients should really shine. There needs to be more caramel filling & a thicker layer of chocolate at the top. I also found that some of the biscuits stuck together in the pack and that showed the thin layer of chocolate. Would probably still buy them though.

Very nice treat. I did try and they were nice, but I’m not the expert on all things chocolate, so I got the expert in the house to give an opinion as he is a die hard fan of chocolate biscuits. He said the milk chocolate and caramel were excellent quality, but the biscuit base could do with a bit more crunch. Either way, they will be all gone by tomorrow I suspect. He went back for seconds immediately. The biscuits were packaged well so as to prevent breakage. They are made in NZ and the price point was very good. I’m sure if the expert was out pushing the trolley they would magically appear at the checkout.
Just Ok - Not Enough Caramel. I was so excited to receive this sample but unfortunately found the good old caramel biscuit (left) to be a bit underwhelming. Around the same time I also received the mint slice (right) version from the same range and as you can see in the picture, the amount of filling in each was worlds apart. There just wasn't enough caramel and my husband and I both found the chocolate quite bland. Being made in NZ was disappointing too as I prefer to support Aussie products. I won't even mention the nutrition panel as these are clearly a treat item and not a regular buy. Although I was really looking forward to these I ultimately found them underwhelming and wouldn't purchase them again. I'd go for the name brand option here purely based on taste ... MoreJust Ok - Not Enough Caramel. Nice for a naughty treat. Interestingly when my wife and I had these we both had a different view on the taste. To me they tasted salty, not in a bad way, but enough that I rechecked the packet to see if they were salted caramel. My wife however did not pick up that taste. Despite that difference, we both find them a nice treat. The biscuit base inside the chocolate didn't taste crunchy as I have experienced with some other varieties but again for the price, this is not a deal breaker and I would buy them again.
As good as the competitor! I have to admit, I've purchased these biscuits before, so knew what to expect. They are a biscuit base, topped with gooey caramel, and coated in milk chocolate. They are exactly the same as the Arnott's Caramel Crowns ($4. 50ea), but half the price ($2. 25ea). The only advantage is that the Arnott's product is Australian made, whereas the Woolies version is made in NZ. If you ate these in a blind taste-test, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, so save yourself some money and buy the Woolies ones!
Not too bad for a sweet treat. These were nice, but some of my family members didn't like them, which is why this is a 4 star rating. Definitely depends on your taste and if you like sweet biscuits. This was really nice to have with some tea, to help cut through some of the sweetness. I wouldn't be having this alongside coffee, because that would likely just make my delicious coffee go bitter. Great layer of caramel. Any more and it would definitely be too sweet. The biscuit base was not too crunchy. Seemed like a good quality biscuit. $2. 25 for this packet, which is not too bad for the price, if we are after some sweets for a birthday party. We would buy this again. 0. 5 star rating, but that's ok. It's not like I would be expecting my family to go through the ... MoreNot too bad for a sweet treat. Definitely Nice Choccy Biccies, But Caramel? This is a great chocolate biscuit. Ever so slightly on the softer side, I'd like a bit more of a snap. But these aren't bad. However, the elephant in the room - these are called "caramels". Where is the caramel ‍♀️ You can see on the biscuit there is a blob of what should be caramel, I can't taste it though. I would buy these again, they are quite nice. But if you are purchasing simply because you want a nice caramel biscuit I'd give them a miss.
Just as good as the big name brand! Caramel would have to be one of my favorite flavors. As a child my siblings were always shocked when I’d search out a caramel flavor than the old boring chocolate or strawberry (more so in our McDonald’s thick shake which was always a once in a blue moon treat!). Probably the only downside is there wasn’t enough caramel but at half the price of the bigger name brand, would definitely purchase these ones instead. would have preferred them to be made in Australia but at least they were made just over the ditch. I recommend that you give these ones a go!
