Smooth & Creamy. I was pleased to receive this sample as I have been meaning to try. Eating a square it tasted nice not grainy like some cheaper chocolate often does. I used 1/2 the block in some cookies broken into chunks they were devoured quickly by the hungry caterpillars and declared yummy. The other half I made a small batch of ganache to decorate cupcakes. The chocolate blended well and held its shape. A product of Poland with a not surprising health rating of about a 1/2 star. The instructions on the packet are easy to follow. Wrap is return to store (no longer an option ) so lost a star. 30% cocoa with a rainforest alliance at $2. 50 for 200g it is a winner for me. Thanks for the opportunity to try.

Great chocolate. Lost a star as it is not Australian. Poland do make excellent chocolate products as I enjoyed sampling in 2013 when I was over there. Great flavour and price. Made some chocolate muffins yesterday, I broke up the chocolate and folded it into half of my mixture, turned out good, great tasting muffins. I melted some more and quickly poured into remaining mixture to get a ripple effect. These turned out very well with that chocolate flavour standing out. I am going to make more ripple style muffins on the weekend and hopefully will get some photos. Overall a great product, great price and good flavour. Cheers

Mouth-watering Milk Chocolate . As you can imagine, I was extremely pleased to receive another chocolate sample With this one, I decided to create a delicious Christmas recipe - Choc Biscoff Strawberries This milk cooking chocolate has 30% cocoa solids which is a reasonable amount for milk chocolate, and actually higher than the brand names I researched. It uses Rainforest Alliance Certified Cocoa and is made in Poland. There's a Rocky Road recipe on the back which is a great suggestion and pictures of it on the front. I mostly use dark chocolate but milk chocolate works much better for my recipe. It tastes like milk chocolate should, and has a wonderfully smooth texture when melted. Fantastic value at only $2. 50 for 200 grams. Although the packaging doesn't look ... MoreMouth-watering Milk Chocolate . Good Chocolate for Cooking. Thank you bunch for my sample of Woolworths Milk Cooking Chocolate. Made in Poland, $2. 50 for 200g, the Best Before Date was three weeks, No Artificial Colours, Flavours or Preservatives, the Cocoa is Rainforest Alliance Certified (there is a link for further information). As this is not good eating chocolate, I decided to make the Three Ingredient Fruit Cake with Coffee and Chocolate which has appeared in bunch recipes in various forms and intrigued me. I opted for the original recipe, I had the ingredients - mixed fruit, coffee and pistachios to add to my Milk Chocolate sample. The result was surprisingly good. I'm most proud of my Jabba the Hutt blob of cream. Return the wrapper to the store for recycling. Thank you bunch for my ... MoreGood Chocolate for Cooking. Milk Cooking Chocolate. I found the taste of WW Milk Cooking Chocolate was ok but not up to the standard as the more expensive brands which I prefer to use when it comes to milk or dark cooking chocolate. This product is acceptable for baking but I still prefer to purchase the other brands for my caramel slice, dipping strawberries or my rocky road. For a 200g block the cost of $2. 50 ($1. 25/100g) is reasonable but a 225g pack of Cadbury melts are on special at the moment for $2. 70 ($1. 20/100g) and made in Australia. The best before date was in ten days time. Thank you for the opportunity to review this product.
Great for slices. I used this sample to make our Christmas tradition - Candy Cane slice. I was sure I'd taken a photo of it, but can't find it anywhere! The chocolate melts perfectly in the microwave and has a great, smooth taste. It's easy pour, once melted, and spreads nicely atop a slice. I love that it comes with a handy recipe for Rocky Road on the back - I love finding things like this on a wrapper! So handy and tempting too. I was a bit disappointed that it has a 'may contain' statement for gluten (which meant Miss GF couldn't try it) and also that it is fully imported. However, the price goes a long way toward making up for these two negatives. Overall, I would probably continue buying this - for those occasions when I don't need to cater for my coeliac.
Great for the price! I earlier had the opportunity to sample the white cooking chocolate and like it, this milk one certainly didn’t disappoint! It is much cheaper than the brand names but holds its own for quality. It is a cooking chocolate and I used this chocolate in making a decadent dessert. It melted beautifully in a few 20 second bursts in the microwave. The result was a molten mass of extra creamy, smooth, not overly sweet delicious chocolate. It mixed easily with other ingredients and made the most decadent cheesecake!I was totally happy with this block of chocolate and would certainly purchase more. Thank you for the opportunity to test yet another fabulous budget product!
Great for baking. I used this baking milk chocolate block to make my chocolate lactation cookies. It’s a cheaper alternative to the names brands and it does the job tasting just as good. It’s not as smooth and creamy as my favourite named brand but once you melt it you can’t really tell and it tastes like a nice enough milk chocolate. It melts quickly and when melted has a nice shine, so is good as a chocolate coating and good for baking. The packaging is resealable which I like, as I don’t always use the entire block right away, so it’s nice that I can save it for later. I also like that it has a recipe suggestion on the back for the delicious looking rocky road on the front. It’s very appealing. This is a chocolate I would happily purchase for when I’m baking. ... Great chocolate taste for the price. I used this to make chocolate lava cakes. 100g butter, plus extra to grease100g chocolate, chopped150g light brown soft sugar3 large eggs½ tsp vanilla extract50g plain floursingle cream, to serveHeat oven to 200C. Butter 6 small ramekins or basins well and place on a baking tray. Put butter and chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl and set over a pan of hot water (or alternatively put in the microwave and melt in 30 second bursts on a low setting) and stir until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly for 15 mins. Using an electric hand whisk, mix in light brown soft sugar, then 3 large eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and finally plain flour. Divide between basins and bake for 10-12 minutes. Serve with single cream.
Smooth, Silky and Great Value. Made in Poland Found in the baking aisle with other cooking chocolates $2. 50 for 200g block 0. 5 HSR No artificial colours flavours or preservatives. Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa. There are simple to follow heating instruction on the back of the packet. I chose to melt it in microwave and it melted beautifully. I was really pleasantly surprised and impressed at how good this chocolate tasted. It is smooth and silky and tastes like a way more expensive chocolate. It melted well and was perfect for topping my slice I’d prefer if it was Australian made but I’d buy this again. It’s well priced, tastes good and preforms well.
