Creamy spread. Woolies Cream Cheese spread is made with Australian milk. Huge ✔️ from me. I have taste tested this spread on crackers, particularly in the afternoon with my coffee as a nice pick me up. It is lovely and creamy. Also, I added a tablespoon on my hot vegies for a bit of a creamy cheese sauce. Melts nicely by the time it is plated and served. This was a small jar size 245 grams, but hard to find, but good value at $2. 90 and I will buy it again. Jar and lid recyclable.

Not to be Cheesy - but this tasted great! What a blast from the past! Neither my wife nor I had consumed this since we were kids. In fact we had both totally forgotten about it’s existence. So when we got this Bunch offer it was great as we were both looking forward to trying it again. Upon collecting it from the Supermarket it looked the same in the jar as it used to (although perhaps just a little lighter in colour) although my memory may well be deceiving me. It is made in Australia from at least 95% Australian Ingredients which is awesome. Wonderful convenience too with being able to put it in the cupboard until it is opened. Upon opening it needs to be refrigerated and then needs to be consumed within 14 days. We decided to try it on Toast with sliced Tomato & ... MoreNot to be Cheesy - but this tasted great! A quick, easy, convenient & cheap alternative to have in the cupboard if you run out of cheese so you can have it on toast or spread it in your sandwich. It may not be everyone’s taste but for us and the way we used it, and with the budget we are on we were very impressed with it. The taste isn’t overpowering (we didn’t spread it thick) and it is easy to spread (even out of the fridge when cold). It is a 0. 5 Star health rating so moderation is clearly key, but we use it without margarine/butter and spread it thinly also. We also don’t think we would personally use it as a dip but we can see why people may. For us the best value for money is to use it in sandwiches and on toast etc. Thanks Bunch, this will be another item from samples we have tried that will be a regular in our house now

Super salty. I have never tried this product before. Positives:Made in Australia and with 95% Aussie ingredients! Yay :) Locally sourced and made products are always a plus. One bonus star for this! Long shelf life - mine had almost 6 months expiry. Recycable packaging - both jar and lid. Negatives The saltiness. Oh dear - this was so offputting. Each serve has 9% of the recommended daily salt intake. That's huge. A reduction is salt would certainly benefit this product. Artificial flavour - I love fresh cream cheese, and this one tasted very artificial. It had a very processed taste and I'm not a fan of processed cheese. My kids on the other hand don't mind processed cheese but were still not fans of this spread (perhaps the salt had something to do with that ... MoreSuper salty. A Comparative Review…. I occasionally buy the Bega brand cream cheese spread, my hubby enjoys it on toast. I had an open jar in the fridge when I picked up the Woolies branded cream cheese spread as a bunch offer. I thought it would be interesting to compare the two. I’m a big fan of Australian made using Australian produce. So that was the first thing I looked at. The Woolies brand is on the left and the Bega on the right. Not sure why I haven’t checked this before on the Bega brand, but Woolies wins this test hands down. Well done Woolies. Woolies also wins on price point. $2. 90 for 245grams and the Bega is $4. 10 for 250 grams. Both were very good when it came to consistency and spreadability. Could not pick the difference. To the taste test…They are very similar in taste. I think the Bega spread was ever so slightly more “cheesy” in taste, but it was so similar it was hard to pick. I don’t think you’d pick it if you weren’t trying them together. The Woolies product is a great product and one that I would buy in future in lieu of the Bega brand. Definitely recommend this product.
Creamy and light. At $2. 90 this product is a good price. You can make cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches and serve them, cut into triangles, to your friends for morning tea. It is mild in taste, creamy and easy to spread. Also, it makes a good alternative to butter on a ham roll. A baked potato topped with cream cheese and spring onion would be an ideal use as well. It is an Australian product with 95% Aussie ingredients. And something I would buy again. Thank you.
As expected. This is not something we usually have at home, but I was still looking forward to trying it as I don't mind cream cheese, just all the additives that come with it that I'm not a fan of. Filled with many weird and nasty ingredients as expected for a spreadable cheese stored at room temperature. My son and I tasted it on a couple of pieces on toast. The consistancy and taste were fine with a nice enough flavour. Unfortunately not a repeat buy for us, as the preservatives send our son bonkers If I need a spreadable cream cheese there are other options in the fridge department that I would choose over this one in a heartbeat. I have given the average rating of 3 stars as I think if you like cream cheese spread, and are not bothered by the additives then you ... MoreAs expected. Creamy with a Subtle Flavour. It’s creamy and smooth with the flavour of the Cheese being subtle and on the milder side. I used some of it as a sauce on top of Cauliflower which worked well and found was very convenient and I’ve also had it spread on top of a Crumpet. It’s wonderful that it is made from 95% Australian Ingredients and reasonably priced at only $2. 90 for the 245gm jar. Located on the bottom shelf in the supermarket but the jars had been pushed right to the back so visibly a little hard to find at the time. As the HSR is rated as 0. 5 it’s not something I would use frequently but I can certainly see myself purchasing it again to have in for the occasional use. Nice addition. The biggest critic in my house is my daughter, so if it is accepted by her, it's a win. I put some of this cheese spread on a piece of pita bread (because that's all she wanted), and she liked it. However, she is used to the Bega Bold cheese spread. Now, she only liked this, because she didn't know she was tasting THIS one. After comparing what she usually has, to this, I must say this one is milder than the bold we use, and the colour is very pale. Knowing a tiny bit about cheese, I would say that this is much more the proper colour rather than the Americanised perception of what it's supposed to look like. We would love to see this product with a bolder flavour so we can convert to this product with 95% Australian ingredients over the other with ... MoreNice addition. Great Value, Quality & Taste! Woolies really did an excellent job with this Cream Cheese Spread! Not only does it taste great, full of flavour and is super-duper easy to spread (nice and liquid smooth, no thick stodgy clumps tearing soft bread to pieces!) but trumps the more expensive name brand comparative products in ingredient quality, local sourcing and price, which really surprised me! The Woolies spread is made in Aus with 95% Australian sourced ingredients whereas the comparative name branded version whilst made in Aus, only sources 30% of its ingredients here. Also, the main ingredients for the Woolies variety are respectively Cream (54%) and Cheese (31%) whereas the name branded version's main ingredient is water, with 34% Cheese and even less butter/cream. ... I enjoyed it in crackers, toast, in sandwiches, and even in veggie and pasta. It adds great flavour and is so easy and versatile to use, another great Woolies product!
Yummm. I Love cheese in a jar... AND I had it on a Bagel!Don't Judge Me.. It was delicious It was morning and Mornings are not my strong point. Breakfast was required. I toasted Bagels, found the Cream Cheese spread then applied it liberally to the Bagel. It was so good... creamy, tasty, salty. Yes! Definitely having that again. Texture is different from a chilled cream cheese. It's thinner as it warms and it's a little saltier. I think I'll try it with warm elbow pasta for a cheat's macaroni cheese. Thanks for the sample Bunch!
