Taste great. I wanted to give a higher rating on this product. I absolutely love mangoes, fresh and dried, so I was really excited to get this sample. However, there are a few things I can't overlook; whilst the bag is recyclable in store, there's quite a lot of it, considering there are only 9 pieces, I think the packaging could've been smaller maybe. But my biggest complaint regards the fact that there is added sugar in this product. I think that mangoes are sweet enough as they are and sugar does not need to be added to this product at all. Also, 9 pieces in the pack at $4 for 130 g that works out to be just under 45c per slice, which I consider to be probably the top end of the dried fruit snack range for price. I love them, they were very tasty, but ... MoreTaste great. I wanted to give a higher rating on this product. I absolutely love mangoes, fresh and dried, so I was really excited to get this sample. Great price n tasty treat. We regularly buy dried mango but never woolies ones as we never saw them. It isn’t found amongst other dried fruit (raisins, blueberries, dates etc) but instead, were with the baking stuff (ie almond meal, baking nuts n seeds, etc). It was amazing. Good sized pieces that were still soft. Each bite was delicious n there was no doubt what one was eating. Intense mango taste that had a good tangy sweet balance. With no artificial flavours or preservatives it will be our new lunchbox treat. The resealable bag made it easy to keep leftovers n it is also recyclable in store. A new regular purchase for us.

Hung jury. When I opened the sample there were three testers in the house. My hubby is a real sweet tooth and he loved it myself and the other tester didn’t mind it. When you take the first bite it seems to have a sweet sugar coating or sugar sprinkles. Also when taking the first bite it really didn’t have a taste of mango, it’s not until you get the after taste that you get a slight mango taste... I was surprised to see that the ingredients are imported but packed in Australia. Wow disappointing! I am pretty sure we have beautiful mangos and farmers we could support here in Australia. it did have a resealable bad, but they didn’t last that long. With returnable packaging. Not sure !I am really interested to see what everyone thinks?thanks

Sweet and tangy. We found this to be quite pleasant to eat - sweet and tangy but with a slightly artificial taste. The texture is firm and chewy. A little bit sticky on the teeth. I was happy to cut the slices into small pieces and add to my homemade muesli. The contents are 78% mango then sugar and preservative. However none of the ingredients are Australian. The origin is not identified and the product is only packed in Australia. At $4 a packet it is comparable with other dried fruits. However due to the unknown origins this is not a product I’ll probably buy in the future.

Non mango fan. I've never been a fan of mango and the mango flavour, but as a loyal member of bunch I felt it my duty to throw myself under the bus and give it an honest review. It was easy to find in the baking section with all the other dried fruits. The packaging stands out with a clear window on the front so you can view the contents. Works well for this products presentation. An easy to open pack with a resealable strip. Not recyclable unless you return it to the store. Unfortunately not a product of Australia and on reading the entire packet I could not find where it was from. Not good! Consumers deserve to know the origin. A chewy texture that I like, I would describe it as a fruit jerky. A small portion would be a good addition to the kids lunch box. I liked this as a snack which surprised me and only goes to show that you never know until you try, and that my friends is what Bunch is all about. Thanks Bunch. It's a 1 thumbs up from me... ...

Fabulous addition to trail mix. I regularly buy these little gems - they are a staple product in my dried fruit basket. Each week my kids take a 'trail mix' of dried fruit to school - many of which are Woolies own products. These portions of dried mango are an excellent size and gorgeous texture. I generally tear one piece in half to go in two different trail mixes (they are THAT big)! The kids love the slightly 'chewy' texture and superb 'real mango' taste. I'm told they have to fight their friends off when they're eating them! The packet reseals, keeping the contents fresh for many weeks, and can go in the Redcycle bin when empty. The only disappointment with this product - it's made with imported mangoes. Why Woolies, why??!! If it used locally grown fruit, which ... MoreFabulous addition to trail mix. Yummy and sweet snackable mango! Mango is so sweet! Even sweeter when dried! I found this mango packet in the dried fruit/nuts in the baking aisle. It did take me a little while to scan the shelves to hunt it down as there are a lot in the range that have the same light blue packaging. I like the clear window so you can inspect the product. My packet had 8 medium to large pieces and were a warm yellow colour. Flavorwise it is sweet and chewy and probably good in smaller doses. I like to cut them into tiny slithers (kitchen scissors are the easiest) and add it to my snack trail mix, to curb cravings at work/commute. I think it goes well with dried pineapple pieces, coconut flake chips, almonds, pepitas and sunflower seeds. It is also very nice with cereal and yoghurt.

Another kick in the guts for Aussie farmers. Let's get my biggest gripe put of the way - there are essentially 2 ingredients in play here, sugar and mango. Sugar - massive agricultural industry in Aus, mango - likewise. And yet, Woolworths has yet again shafted Aussie farmers for overseas supply. Now, for the actual taste - I found these horrifically too sweet. Other reviews have already mentioned it, but yikes, I think I'm only just emerging from a diabetic coma. I just don't think it's necessary! 50% total sugar content? Mango is naturally sweet enough. Texture - here we have a redeeming feature, I found the texture quite ok. Honestly, this product was a swing and a miss.

Sweet... Sometimes I find that dried fruit such as this just looks "yuck", but these Mango slices looked appealing, so I was happy to try them. We thought they were good, a nice consistency, but too sweet and with an unusual after-taste. I don't usually eat dried mangoes, so perhaps the unusual after-taste isn't uncommon. Fresh mangoes are delicious and sweet, so I wonder how dried mangoes would taste without added sugar? I was very disappointed that they weren't Aussie mangoes (& sugar?). I would prefer to see our Aussie growers supported. It seems better for the environment to buy local products. The resealable bag was handy, with a large window to see how many were left. I like being able to return the soft plastics to Woolies for red-cycling.

I found them to be sweet and not tangy as the packet indicated. They would be great added to a cheese platter if fresh mangoes were not available. Although I enjoyed these, I probably won’t purchase again. I much prefer fresh mangoes, and if I needed dried mangoes I’d prefer Australian produce. It seems unnecessary to have added sugar as mangoes are naturally sweet and the high sugar content is not appealing.
