Woolworths Multivitamin Juice 2L

Decent for the price. The Woolworths Multivitamin Juice is what it is, a bottle of reconstituted juice from different fruits. It is super sweet, not like "oh I am going to get some OJ for a bit of a sweet hit" but "I am about to down some strong cordial sweet hit". It is fine if that is what you are into but I prefer my juice to generally be a mild sweetness with some bitterness in it like grapefruit. It basically is just a big glass of apple juice topped with a bit of other fruits, nothing to jump for joy about. I would have expected something that is boasted as being "multivitamin" to have some veggies in it, at least a bit of carrot or sweet potato just to make it an all rounder. I would suggest to Woolworths to consider adding some vegetables into the juice and/or reducing the amount of apple juice inside as it is super sweet and adding in something bitter like grapefruit or upping the lemon juice content. Recommend to people who like long life juice and are not wanting to spend too much money.

So refreshing! I see a lot of reviews comparing this against fresh juice. It is not the same thing as this is long life juice so I will review this for what it is. I love this juice! Amazing combination of flavours. Not too sweet or sour. So fruity and you can definitely smell the mango upon opening the lid. The kids smashed it! My 3 children had their 2 cousins over for the day, they consumed the whole bottle before I could even look at it. They all loved the juice, my DS9 said it tasted like mangoes. It was a definite winner. Was the product easy to find: Yes, I found it in the Drinks section. The packaging: I prefer the competitions labeling, it looks more appealing, fresh and clean. If I were to buy based on appearances they would win. I don't think it helps the WW bottle by having the fruit covered by logos etc, however the fruit pictured does look tired and old. The price and value of the product: $2. 00 for 2L - excellent value, as opposed to the competitions price of $3 for 2L. Best surprise drink ever! I don't usually buy this sort of shelf bottled drink - if I do buy juice, I buy fresh in the refrigerated section of the supermarket. Gosh, what a surprise! It tasted great. At first I thought it was sweet, but it's actually tangy. I looked at the ingredients and there is a great mixture of fruit juices that make it really good. And it's Australian! Even my husband liked it and he's fussy. This is definitely going the weekly shopping list. Love it!

The bottle has an easy screw cap and peel off foil lid to keep in the freshness. It is so full of nicely mixed fruity flavours of apple (77. 3%), Orange (10%), Grape (4%), Apricot (4%), Peach (2%), Pear (0. 5%), Lemon (0. 5%), Mango (0. 5%), Passionfruit (0. 5%), Reconstituted Guava Puree (0. 5%) with the added bonus of vitamins C, A & Folate. On first try I found it to be a bit too thick and sweet and I had a bit of a lingering aftertaste, so next serves of the juice I diluted it half with water. Delicious and refreshing. This juice was easy to locate, but was on the bottom shelf of at my local Woolies, would be great if Woolies promoted it better and had it a little higher up. The label is appealing showcasing the delicious fruits included in the juice. And the colour of the juice is a vibrant orange. The juice is deliciously refreshing and not one particular fruit stands out which to me made it enjoyable with a mix of different flavours. My kids enjoyed it also and with a 5 star health rating I felt comfortable with them drinking it. My only negative would be that all the fruits contained in the juice are imported, why? Not refreshing to me. When I have juice I like it to taste real and be refreshing. Unfortunately for me this juice tastes like cordial and I feel it needs to be watered down. I had a feeling it would be like this just by looking at it's thick orange colour. Obviously though it is a much healthier option to cordial or soft drink as it has a 5 star health rating and high in vitamin A, C and folate. So for this reason I give this product credit, especially for kids or people wanting extra vitamins in their diet. Two more factors that didn't appeal was the ingredients being imported and also the shape of the bottle. It is about 4cm taller than a 3l milk carton and wouldn't fit on my top shelf in the fridge. However, in these current times where we all have to be creative about getting our vitamins when stores may or may not have the fresh/frozen vegetables we prefer, sometimes we have to consider long-life products. Surprisingly refreshing. I was wary of trying this juice as a lot of reviews had sad too sweet and I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. I poured a small glass to have with Breakfast. Surprisingly I found it very refreshing with a thicker than some other juices consistency. It was sweet but not overly so, as there are no added sugar, preservatives or artificial flavours I put the sweetness down to the natural sugars found in fruit. Added Vit C, A and folate. I didn’t find one fruit flavour was stronger than another and left a pleasant aftertaste. Star lost for not being Australian fruit, but then again if it was Australian it wouldn’t be at the price point of $2. Would I buy again? If having family or friends staying over then Yes I would as one of the juice options.
