Woolworths Popcorn Lightly Salted 80g

No added MSG is great. This product was easy to find in the store. We usually buy small individual packets' popcorns and this was first time to try the Woolworths' brands popcorns. We had this as an afternoon snack on its own. Good sized pack and price. The texture was too soft, not crunchy so it was freshly opened but due to texture we found it bit stale. Lightly salted. No added MSG is great for this kind of snack, healthy option and very happy to see that Woolworths is producing healthy conscious products. My family mentioned the texture and amount of uncooked kernels inside the packet, so we had to be careful with some popcorns being half popped. We prefer light and crunchy popcorns, we would not repurchase this product.

I found this 80g popcorn bag on the lowest shelf at Woolies, so I did a good stretch and bend to pick it up ‍♀️It’s $2. 10 for the bag which is pricey, compared to popcorn kernels which you can buy at home and make yourself. As soon as I cut the bag open, I could smell the salty popcorn flavour. The quantity was enough for the 2 of us. There were only 1 or 2 unpopped kernels at the bottom of the bag. The popcorn has the right amount of salt but it was chewy, not crunchy and fresh. Perhaps it was just this batch. Great snack option for popcorn lovers! Found these in the chip aisle on a bottom shelf. Their were plenty of boxes of product and the price was $2. 10. I have tried many popcorn products but admittedly, not this one. So was good to get an opportunity to try these as well. Labelled lightly salted and conveniently popped, I found these statements were correct. I also liked that the product was made using Australian corn. This is a good product to switch up the typical potato chips snacking option. The taste is as expected and if you like popcorn, it’s a safe assumption to make that you will like this!

I wish this popcorn had it in 10 pack. I wish this popcorn had it in 10 packages bag as a healthy lunchbox snack. Nice and healthy snack with enough flavour, crunchy, light and the perfect amount of salt. It's Made in Australia from at least 75% Australian ingredients and has a 4 star health rating. Has only three ingredients: 74% popping corn, vegetable oil and salt so it's gluten free. Good size bag, well priced at $2. 10 so it's cheaper than some alternative brands. Extra point that I did not find any unpopped corn ( no other brand can say about its product ) in the bag thus great on teeth.

Good size to pop in your bag to take out. We hadn't had popcorn for years until we recently tried a bag of Cobs popcorn that was on offer as a promotion. Since then, we have eaten loads more popcorn than we probably have in the last 20 years. Whilst this Woolies brand popcorn isn't quite as good as Cobs, it is still pretty darned good. At the normal price marks, the Woolies option is cheaper, but not by an awful lot. When Cobs is in special though (which is quite regularly tbh), then the result can switch around. The 80 gms bag from Woolies, is smaller though, and thereby easier to pop into a handbag if one is off to the park or to a cinema. For us however, I think we will continue to stick with the Cobs for the time being.
