Does the job. I usually have olive oil and canola oil in the pantry in sprays and liquids as well as a refill sprayer. So this one was a bit different for me to try and not one I would have ever considered buying, so was happy to get it as a Bunch sample. I used it to cook up some sausages and it did the job as good as my usual spray oil. It does say on the can that it is great for frying and stir fry dishes. It says it has a mild flavour and I agree that it was mild and didn't takeover the taste of the food. Produced in Thailand but packed in Australia. Priced at $3. 90 for the 225g canI probably wouldn't buy this again just because I am happy with the oils I currently use and don't see the need for, or have the room for a third one.

Seems rather good. Having been “blessed” with another spray sample this month, I expected it to be the same as previous sprays. There is a subtle difference with no obvious strong aroma and this gratified my sensibilities. There was no perceivable point of reference (ie smell, taste or texture) just a product that did the job as described. The ingredients made me laugh/cringe: “Rice Bran Oil (75%), Propellant (Butane, Propane)”. Does that mean that the other 25% of the can is propellant? I tried it with an egg and it slid nicely around the pan. Will have to do some more experimenting to see how it works out. Had I not had this and my other two spray samples I would repurchase but what I do have will last me a very long time.

Versatile and convenient. This 225g can of Woolworths Rice Bran Oil Spray is simple, easy and convenient to use. It's also highly versatile and can be used for a wide range of cooking purposes (e. g. coating pots/pans when baking food in the oven or heating meals on the cooktop). The spray provides a good amount of even coverage and it's easy to control the amount of oil used. The cost per can ($3. 90) is also relatively affordable compared to some other cooking spray products that are available. While the health star rating is only average (2. 5 out of 5 stars), I was pleased to see that the spray is free from artificial preservatives, colours and flavours. All in all, it's a decent product that our household will continue to use in the future.

Versatile alternative. Love the convenience and ease of control with oil spray. I sprayed the oil on some potatoes before roasting. Coverage is good, fine even spray. Reduces food prep time. Roasted potatoes turned out tasty and were not overly oily. Versatile uses as it's mild flavoured enough to be odourless. Long best before date Aug 2024. No spill and portable, great staple to pack for trips when cooking is required. Just need to be careful not to leave the can near hotspots as it's flammable. In general oil sprays last awhile so in the long run will work out to be economical. Note: Red dot on inner rim is very discreet

Versatile oil spray. This Rice Bran Oil Spray is easy to use and does not change the taste of the food. I used it for a stir fry and I would definitely use it again. For those of you who read my review for Woolworths Coconut Oil Spray and are wondering if I sprayed this oil on my hair ... the answer is yes. I looked for information on rice bran oil for hair and found that it is good for nourishing dry and damaged hair and can help with dandruff. Very easy and convenient to use. This was a nice sample, not a product that I would have thought to purchase. It was easy to find in the store and I noted that the price was $3. 90. Baked vegetables, particularly potatoes and pumpkin are a favourite in our household. I generally place the vegies on baking paper and drizzle olive oil on them for a flavoursome result. I thought using this rice bran oil spray instead of my usual olive oil would be an interesting way to try this sample. I used an even sparing coat of the oil. The result was a different but pleasant flavour. The spray pack was very easy and convenient to use. The can will be recycled to the kerbside recycle bin when it is empty. Thank you Bunch for the sample which is much appreciated.

Bit of a fan of the bran, not the can. Having not tried rice bran oil before, I would say it's a neutral-tasting oil that is similar in flavour to other neutral oils such as canola or vegetable oil. It has a light, unobtrusive taste that won't overpower the flavors of your food. As far as health is concerned, I believe rice bran is considered a healthier oil option due to its high levels of antioxidants and healthy fats. Regarding the environmental impact of the spray can, it is important to note that the use of spray oils can contribute to environmental pollution, as the aerosol cans they come in have the potential to release harmful chemicals into the atmosphere. It may be more environmentally friendly to choose oil in a glass bottle.

Ok I guess. When I purchase spray oil I normally opt for Canola oil or Olive oil as I'm more familiar with those oil types but I was curious as to how different Rice Bran Oil was in comparison. I found this spray easily in store with the other oils. At $3. 90 for 225g it's not great value for money, even for a Woolies product as I could get 400g of spray Canola oil for $2. 50 or Extra Virgin Olive oil for $2. 50 for 150g (roughly the same value as the Rice Bran). I do like that it has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives but I don't like that it's a product of Thailand (that detail was sneakily hid on the back rather than the front of the packaging). The spray bottle is convenient to use and the oil itself does have a mild flavour that didn't effect the taste of my cooking. I did find that it sprayed a little too thickly for my liking and I had to keep spraying my pan as my ingredients kept sticking. I'm sorry to say that I wouldn't choose to buy this again. I don't see any benefits in using this type of oil spray above a Canola oil or Olive oil spray, especially when they are cheaper and healthier and even the cheapest are products of Australia.

Gets the ticks for convenience price and ease of use! You can’t ever replace EVOO for us Europeans…. but I am pleased to say I used this product and it did not impart a strong flavour or change the taste of my breakfast at all. Being a spray can it was easy to control how much I was using, it coated the pan nicely and performed well. The price at $3. 90 is reasonable and I think it is a great item for the pantry or for those who like camping. It would be alot easier packing this than a container of liquid oil that is heavy and could leak everywhere. No artificial preservatives, colours or flavours is another tick ✅ Mild flavour, convenient, reasonable price…Ive got no issue re-purchasing this product! The trick would be choosing to use it when flavour is not what you ... MoreGets the ticks for convenience price and ease of use! High smoking point, great value. I usually use olive oil spray but have found that when cooking it does smoke a lot. I have never used Rice Bran Oil before and found this to be a much better option when frying. It does not give off a lot of smoke, nor does it blacken or stain the frying pan when using. It has a very non distinct smell and does not provide an extra taste to food, so doesn't overpower any other flavours. I will use this instead of olive oil when I wish to use the frying pan or make a cake, muffins etc. and provide a reasonably non stick surface. It is reasonably priced and was easy to find on the shelf. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives but the only negative is it is a product of Thailand packed in Australia.
