Best gravy! This gravy is the ducks nuts. It's got good flavour and texture. I would 100% rate this as one of the best gravies you can buy. I don't care what anyone says. You can't change my mind.

It is what it is. As far as gravy goes, this is meh, average, it's a powdered product and I usually make gravy from pan juices so there is no comparison. As far as a flavour booster for mince meat patties for cheese burgers goes, it ticks the boxes. The thickeners seem to help the mince bind and the meat flavour enriches the mince, making a better burger. Of course "proper" gravy is much better, but it's how you cook with this sort of product that makes sense and makes it a useful pantry item.

YUCK! I think other reviewers must have tried a different product. I thought this was vile. For starters it has LESS THAN 10% Australian ingredients - so is that as low as 1% or less? That is pretty shameful. It had NO "roast meat" flavour whatsoever, nor was it "hearty and rich". It was just some tasteless inedible (probably) chemical laden concoction. It had a powdery taste to it and a thick cloying texture. I usually use Gravox or Bisto instant gravy - both are obviously a bit synthetic but are useful to add to meat juices and to thicken mince based dishes and they taste OK. This Woolies own label stuff is dreadful!Added: I didn't even want to give it one star!

Interesting. I actually used it for extra thickening and taste when I was cooking lamb shanks. Not what it's supposedly for but it worked really well. The taste was probably not as strong as I usually would have in a casserole dish - it still was very yummy. The fact it is Gluten free is great and was good that night, as my granddaughter is on a gluten free diet and was visiting for dinner. We all enjoyed the same meal, which was awesome. x
A good staple for the pantry! This gravy is very nice - a good, affordable option to stock the pantry with. It has no artificial colours or flavours and is also gluten free. It is also very easy to prepare - just a few tablespoons in boiling water. It was quite mild, but you can use a little less water to make it thicker. At a price of only $1. 65, this gravy is around 1/3 of the price of the name brand. This fact alone definitely makes it worth a try!
Best flavour boost. Awesome with roast dinners and also great for any type of casserole /slow cooker recipe. Great with hot chips. Family favourite with fried onions, sausages and mash potato. Absolutely love this product.
Tasty quick versatile. Tasty convenient and easy to use. I have used this on its own or as an addition to other sauces and gravies and found it blended well both ways. eg we used it to thicken a casserole. When you swap expediency for "from scratch" cooking their are of course differences. I have to say it didnt have as strong an artificial flavour as other similar products I have tried. Overall very Satisfactory
Salty. This gravy was a bit too salty for us and it was way way too runny. No matter how much you put in your became too runny. I guess it’s okay if you just need a quick little bit of gravy, but it’s not really the best for making big batches, the taste was okay. A bit salty for us, but it was still okay.
Yummy Gravy. Tried the woolworths gravy mix today, it was nice and tasty. Easy to mix and didn't form lumps. I would definitely buy this as it is great value for money. I usually buy the dearer one but know I know how good it is this will be the one I reach for. Can't wait to try the chicken one aswell. I will use the chicken one to make ny apricot sicken. Apricot ChickenChicken thighsTin chicken gravy mix Lge tetra pack apricot necterPlace chicken thighs in a casserole dish in one layer. Mix apricot necter and gravy mix with a whisk, once whisked pour over thighs and place in oven. Add veges to mix before putting in oven if required or cook veges separately. Cook until chicken is tender.
Great on hot chips. Woolworths Roast Meat Flavoured Instant Gravy 120g we buy 2 or 3 often have it on all roast as well on hot chips delicious. Would highly recommend good price. Easy to find. Easy to make and fast.
