As someone who grew up on tank rain water the heavey chemical presence in town water / metro was such a shock to my taste buds and system our family buys all their drinking water and we have tried leading brands down to store brand and without a doubt can recommend, these bottles have the same taste as the $6 a bottle water. One being to keep what comes out of the table consumable, this water however is derived from a much more natural source and this is evident in both the taste and health benefits. whilst as consumers we try to use less plastic and we as a household do out outmost there are instances where it’s use is needed and such a use is this amazing and affordable and clean water My children drink so much more water these days grabbing a bottle on their way out the door wherever they go stop spending 3. 5 plus on a single bottle when you leave the house and stop at a servo and start filling your fridge with these instead and watch your weekly savings grow

Great water at a good price. I often buy this water and the price and quality is good. The taste is good. Occasionally you get the odd one that tastes a bit off but not often. I do prefer Frantelle so buy that when it is on special. However, this is my next choice after Frantelle. I find Mount Franklin often have off tasting water so this Woollies water is cheaper and better quality than some name brands such as the latter, in my opinion. Lately I have been buying the 12 packs over 24 packs as the 24 packs are so heavy. I am getting older and find them too heavy to put in the trolley, take out the trolley and lift into my car and bring inside when I get home. The 12 packs are easier to lift and are often equivalent to the same price multiplied by two as per the 24 packs. Plus I often do online orders just so I don't have to lift the heavy waters, a staple in my shopping list as mentioned above. Unfortunately, the down side of drinking bottled water is the use of plastics. However, I take all my emptied bottles to the recycling depot and also get the 10c per bottle refund. I wish I had an alternative to drinking water from plastic for environmental issues but my tap water is often brown with rust in it too. It's disgusting for a first world country.

Each bottle is 600ml which I could just guzzle in a second but I am sure others probably could sip on it for a while. It tastes like water which is great, no Evian like plastic taste to it. I have my own bottles that I use to fill up with filtered water but have been giving the Woolies bottles to my partner to use at work... he still prefers his usual bottle that he uses as it is thicker and robust. What is worse is that the plastic being used is super soft and all I do when I look and touch the Woolies 600ml bottles is think of how much plastic is leaching into the water when it gets a bit warm! I did have fun and put hot tap water onto the bottles and they did start to change shape so if you plan on using these bottles on a hot summer day then you may want to rethink about taking them into the car unless you have great air con at all times in the car and keep it in a car fridge otherwise you will be leaching plastic into your drink.... this goes for any plastic bottle in general. I personally wouldn't buy this product again as I don't have a need for it. I guess it might serve a purpose at a BBQ/party but I am all for using proper reusable bottles that won't leach chemicals into your drink.

A gift that is refreshing and pays forward. Currently on a wet camping trip. Unfortunately every time I go on a camping trip it doesn’t only rain, it floods! Friends I go with - their neighbours say if we are ever in a drought send the “Riley’s on a camping trip”! The bottles of water came in very handy this trip - good size for carrying and tossing into my kayak. Also good to pour into my Nespresso machine. Yep - you read right - a coffee machine while camping. Well I guess you can consider it a little of a glamp camp. Try and get some power wherever I go. The water was easy to find instore but I think the best thing about it is the price, its value for money so perfect for people on budgets and also great for families. We take it when travelling, hiking, son takes two bottles to work everyday and even the dog gets a new bottle periodically, that we then refill with our home filtered water, and keep it in the fridge. The last three 'slabs' of water bottles we purchased were for a camping trip (where accessible water was limited), a 'covid-safe' picnic (so everyone had their own food/drink) and when they were doing water mains 'work' and the water was a strange brown colour for a few days. So basically we are not regular purchasers, but have seen the merit of bottled water. These bottles are handy and convenient. Good value. This is a hard review to write because what can you say about water? Not a lot!I don't buy bottled water often as I have a SodaStream and I like bubbles but I was happy to try this sample. As far as quality goes I could tell it wasn't French or Italian spring water. I would liken it to a good tap water. It claims to be Australian spring water but it doesn't actually say exactly where the springs are located. I left the packet in the car and they came in useful on long car trips. The outer packaging was very sturdy and the bottles were contained within it right down to the last one. The bottles themselves were a bit flimsy but they did the job perfectly. At $4. 80 for 12 600ml bottles it represents good value. Would recommend.
