A bit disappointed. I was so excited to receive this as a sample because as a kid, I loved getting the little boxes of sultanas for recess. The green label with the photo of sultanas made it easy to find on the shelf. I like that it shows the shape of Australia so you know it's a completely Australian product. I made it as far as the car before I opened one of the little boxes, I gave it a good sniff expecting to smell the sweet sultanas but all I smelt was cardboard. Unfortunately they tasted like cardboard too. I decided to empty a box into a container to let it air out for a few hours but it didn't change the taste or smell for me. The only way I was able to get around it was by adding them to chocolate. I don't know if it was just the batch but as much as I ... MoreA bit disappointed. Sweet treat. I like the packaging with the big green map of Australia on a background of sultanas. Plus Aussie Sultanas written across the middle of the map. No doubt theyâre Aussie! Six little boxes sealed in plastic. Easy to open both the plastic and box. Sweet, juicy, plump sultanas. Delicious. The plastic wrapping states â30g dried fruit can count as an occasional alternative to a 150g serve of fruit. âI decided I would eat half a box, 20g, each week instead of one apple. This turned into 1/3 of the box as they are very sweet. I gave two boxes to my wonderful 82yr old neighbour, who is big fan of Bunch samples. She also said they were plump and juicy and mixed them with some nuts for her afternoon snacks. I placed my remaining packets in an airtight container ... MoreSweet treat. The 2. 5 star rating doesnât worry me. Itâs dried fruit. Thatâs why you eat it in smaller portions. I can see my neighbour and I sharing another pack of these over.

A little fresher would be better. Probably the cardboard, as mentioned before but just not as fresh as the ones in plastic bags, don't know. Still, they're sultanas and you just have to love them. Great pack sizes and design of graphics depicting exactly the contents and place of origin. With so many packs, I gave one to my better half, one each to my trusted tester over the road and her parents. That left 2 for me, so, I just doubled my intake of fruit as per dietary guidelines !!We all enjoyed them, standing on the footpath and discussing the merits of these little morsels. General opinion was they would, from then on, be a regular addition to shopping lists.

Great Snack Box Great for Lunchboxes. These were a little hard to find as my local store only stocks the Turkish Sultanas snack boxes. So yes I did pick up the Turkish Sultanas and purchased them first. Had to go to a larger store to find these. I would have thought that Australian Sultanas would have got priority on the shelf before the Turkish ones in the smaller stores. Support local and all. This product was way better than the Turkish Sultanas. They are plump and have great flavour. A superior product compared to the Turkish Sultanas. The small boxes are great to throw in kids lunchboxes or in the backpack for a day out. Great product and wonderful to be Aussie.
Healthy Aussie snack. We love sultanas and we sure do love these fabulously Aussie Sultanas. This pack contains 6, 40gram convenient size boxes of deliciously plump and relatively even sized sultanas. Perfect for school or work lunches, long car trips etc. Sultanas are also fabulous in cooking, i personally love adding them to dishes such as devilled sausages as well as home made goodies such as rock cakes. Overall a wonderful, versatile, convenient, Tasty and good value for money Aussie produce. Highly recommend. 5 stars.
Perfect travel, lunchbox size. Getting this sample made me do something that my husband was very thankful for - making a big ol' batch of his favourite oatmeal and sultana cookies! I can't say that sultanas or raisins are something that I eat often but I do enjoy them, mainly in baking. The taste was fresh, naturally sweet and what I was hoping for. It made me very happy that there wasn't additional plastic wrapping inside the cardboard boxes (and yet they were still fresh!) They're well portioned, grateful that they're Australian sultanas with only one other ingredient. Great to have on hand for a quick natural sweet hit, when traveling or in your kids lunchbox. The price was good, they're convenient, well priced. I'd buy this again.
Handy snack. Sweet, plump and juicy sultanas. No dry, hard and chewy ones. Six individual packs containing 40 grams of sultanas each. It's a handy, good-sized snack to have when out and about. I can imagine it being popular for families with kids although personally I would just buy a bulk pack for baking muffins. For us it's a nice but occasional snack as it does contain a fair bit of sugar which is typical of dried fruits. Good that the individual boxes can be recycled and the plastic film can be REDcycled. Product of Australia which is great.
A fantastic, wholesome snack. I love, love, love these. Whoever designed the packaging did a great job - shoppers can feel patriotic as well as responsible (for buying Australian, and healthy options) when buying their family a snack they love to eat. Winning! I don't know what it is about things that are packaged in miniature that is so appealing - and it is justified by the recommended portion size being almost bang on the contents of one little box. Kids love the cute little boxes, too - they get reused as shop props in our house. These can be thrown in a lunchbox, or in your grab bag of snacks. For the record, whenever my kids go to swimming sessions at the pool, I take a grab bag of muesli bars, fruit and dried fruit so there are options for a pick-me-up, and they might as well be in a grab bag that it kept in the pantry when that is the only time muesli bars/dried fruit are eaten in our house. But that said, these little lovelies are such a great, practical treat for camping, road trips, day trips, really any time that you want something that is vaguely healthy and shelf stable. My daughter likes a little dried fruit in her porridge every morning, and these make for a great little portion size so that she can do this while camping, too. I would love to see this range expanded - little boxes of dried apricots, nuts, a mix, all of which would be great. Sunbeam does little packs of sultanas with cranberries - so there must be something of a market for them. Bottom line, I love these. At $2, always, for a (relatively) healthy little treat that costs about the same amount as a muesli bar, they are fantastic, and have a permanent place on our grocery list. Keep up the good work, Woolies!
Aussie Sultanas. These were easy to find and the bright green packaging really stood out however lacked some information that was only found on the plastic film eg. The â»ïž was missing from the individual boxes which might not remind children to put them in the appropriate bins at school. The flavour was good although they felt a little oily compared to our usual brand which use vegetable oil and these ones use canola oil. The sultanas were nice and plump and the boxes were full. We usually buy mini packs which are 14g however these Aussie Sultanas were a large 40g serve each, much bigger than we are used to. They varied in colour and size and some still had the stem attached. Overall the price was good and the product was tasty.
Convenient snack. These multipack sultanas are a fantastic âthrow in the bagâ snack to have on hand, when the hunger pangs strike. Not to mention, a kid approved treat. And I say treat purposely, as this product is very high in sugar and definitely a sometimes food for my kids. Found in the dried fruit and nuts aisle at Woolies, this product was easy to locate thanks to its distinctive green packaging. Itâs very clear that they are Australian sultanas, with the prominent map of Australia on each box, but in all honesty, the kids werenât as enticed to try these sultanas, preferring the Sunbeam mini packs with the fun animal pictures on them. Something to consider, Woolies. I will pack these sultanas for for kids, for a little âsomething extraâ when having morning tea ... MoreConvenient snack. My kids love them! They are a great sized portion, given they are almost 75% sugar, so perfect in small quantities. Interestingly, they have a lot more sodium than the Sunbeam variety (36mg opposed to 14mg per 100g) which is also something to keep in mind if you have issues with salt. A great option to have in the pantry, and definitely a product I recommend and would buy again.
