Woolworths Traditional Mayonnaise 470g

Creamy sensation. I'd tried this once before and enjoyed it so I knew I'd like this sample. It's the lowest price on the shelf and a BIG bottle. I planned in advance to use this in multiple ways (as a marinade, dip and sandwich layer) and it performed beautifully. This is a creamy slightly sweet Mayo with that thick consistency you want and need. It'd go great in potato salad too. The bottle shows you what you're buying, the packaging is eye-catching with that signature blue and it's recyclable.

Creamy. Was creamy and thick. Zingy taste. Very similar in taste to the one I always buy 770g woolies essentials mayonnaise. I like the easy squeeze bottle. I do wonder why the essentials Mayo has at least 92 percent Aussie ingredients and the Traditional Mayo only has 35 percent. Also the essentials has a 2 star health rating and the Traditional has 1. I will probably stick to buying the essentials Mayo. I hope they don't delete this product. But in saying this the Traditional Mayo was very nice.

Excellent value and quality, slightly too sweet for my taste. The Woolworths Traditional Mayonnaise is a smooth, creamy, high quality, delicious, and economical alternative to the big brands. However compared to our usual brand it was a bit sweeter which is means it unfortunately won't become our first choice as we like a different balance in our mayonnaise. Of course, we are just used to what we normally eat, so we could get used to the Woolworths mayonnaise too without any issue. We had the mayonnaise on chicken salad sandwiches and it was delicious, and we also tried it on home made oven chips and it was delicious in that context too. Nice and creamy. Easy to locate in store. Easy to open, peel tab under cap. Easy to use, squeezes out of bottle nicely. Plastic bottle and cap recyclable. I often reuse the bottles for other sauces that I make up. They are great to put into the caravan. Price is a little less than others. $4 for 470g. I found this mayo to be smooth in texture, creamy in taste with just a hint of tang. I tried this on my avocado toast. It added a nice taste and helped my jalapenos stay put I will happily purchase again and recommend others try it.

It’s in a convenient squeezy bottle and easy to squeeze. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and gluten free. Though made with Australian free range eggs (4%), only 35% of locally sourced ingredients are used and would be great to see higher than that. I made a potato salad, coleslaw and just used as a dip which was nice. I compared Woolworths whole egg mayo with this. The traditional one is creamy, tangy, a little sweet and contains less eggs, as opposed to whole egg mayo which is thick, less sweeter and contains high percentage of eggs. I found a little sweet for my liking and still prefer the whole egg one but don’t mind buying from time to time.

Great quality and affordable! Mayonnaise is our households favourite condiment so whilst we have our favourite brand, it was great to receive this sample because it is a great quality mayonnaise and much cheaper than other brands, not to mention, a huge size bottle! It was so good that we will probably change from our regular brand to this brand when our regular brand is not on sale. Highly recommend this one! Easy to use bottle too because you can squeeze it out rather than having to use a spoon to take out of a jar.

Great Mayo! Very easy to find in my local woolies - was just below eye height but stood out well from the other brands and different kinds of mayonnaise. Packaging is easy to open and the squeezey bottle design makes it also easy to put as much or as little as you like, with out getting a spoon dirty. Tried it in and with a couple of dishes - I love to dunk my chippies in mayo and it was delicious for that. Also included in a potato salad recipe I have and it worked a treat. I think this is an excellent example of a supermarket branded item being just as good and name brands. Well done Woolies and thank you Bunch for this very useful and yummy sample!

New Favourite Mayo! My family absolutely loves mayo and we usually buy a few other brands that are on the expensive side. So I was really interested to find out how this mayo compared. Well I think we have a new favourite in our house. This mayo was amazing! Super creamy and tasty. We used it on chicken salad wraps, potato salad and coleslaw. All delicious! I will definitely make the switch to this mayo from now on. I would definitely recommend!

We have purchased this Mayonnaise in the past so hubby was familiar with it. He used this sample to make coleslaw, potato salad and tried it on turkey and lettuce sandwiches. He said that the mayonnaise has a nice creamy consistency, with a very mild tanginess and tastes as good as the more expensive branded mayonnaises that he has used in the past. The squeeze bottle is very handy and ensures that when squeezing out the mayonnaise it is pretty much a no mess experience. Storage of the left over mayonnaise is no fuss. Versatile all rounder. I was surprised at how thick and creamy this mayonnaise is. It has a tangy taste and can be used as a potato salad dressing, on burgers, salads, mixed with other ingredients to make a seafood sauce, or even a very spicy dressing for chicken wings. We tried it on a burger and I added chopped baby cucumbers and some chopped parsley an sweet chilli sauce to give it a boost and could be used like this as a dip as well. A great product at a good price. Made with Australian free range eggs with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Only has 35% Australian ingredients( a negative) and made in Australia. Its gluten free too. As good as some of the branded names. Will be a definite in my fridge..
