Don't plan on using the pockets

Where do I even start? I used to have a great pair of 31MWZRS until they wore out. I searched for the exact same jeans, but Wrangler no longer makes them. Sure, they make the 31MWZ model, but it is NOT the same as the old one with the small knife pocket on the right leg! I finally came across a pair of 31MWZ's in a local shop in CO (I don't buy unless I can try them on, and being 32x36, there are few places that carry my size). My first disappointment was that there are now only three lousy colors. Seriously?! You can make other jeans in a dozen colors, but these you only make in two cruddy dark blues and a black? I tried them on and the fit was decent. Not as good as my other set, but they would work. One big issue is finding jeans that are comfortable, but don't have a gigantic leg opening. I do not want my jeans dragging on the ground around my boots! Everything that is labeled "boot cut" are too big for anything but my hiking boots, and everything that is "slim" is skin tight. I ended up buying two pairs of these because the fit was close enough to what I wanted. I got the lighter of the blues in the hopes I could get it to fade out a bit quicker. After I get home, I take the tags off (I mean, they fit, right? What else do you need to worry about?) so I could start wearing them and breaking them in. I hadn't worn them for five minutes when I discovered the biggest reason these jeans are trash: the front pockets are for a child's hands! My cell phone (which is not large) barely squeezed in the front left pocket, and if I tried to put my hand in, the opening of the pocket was so tiny I almost couldn't get my hand out because my wedding ring snagged at the top! On the right side, if I had my pocket knife in my pocket (as every red-blooded American male should) I literally couldn't even fit my hand in that pocket!! Atrocious!! Now I'm stuck with two useless pairs of jeans that will never get worn, and I'm still searching for something that fits!

Fit seems way too roomy

I've worn Wrangler products (always the same size) for years. However, this November 2023 purchase seems different. WAY roomier, bigger, longer, and baggier than ever before. I bought two pair: 13MWZ and 936WBK. Each feels about 2 inches too big in the waist and several inches too long in the inseam, in addition to being completely loose in the thigh and posterior. I've never had to wear a belt with these, but now I do. Odd. Standards slipping?

Great jeans for men with bigger thighs

The Wrangler 31MWZPW (PW stands for prewashed) jeans are great for the men with bigger thighs. My husband has worn this brand and style for many years. He does ranching, horseback riding, cattle working, fixing barb wire fence and etc. everyday. These jeans do not rip and tear in rear or crotch area like other fits and brands did. They are bigger in the thigh and rump. Fit well over cowboy boots. They are thicker denim that holds up well wash after wash. We soak and wash weekly, sometimes twice a week and these jeans hold up for several years. After many washing, they will start to fade like all worn denim fades to a light blue. Only jeans my cowboy will wear for working on the ranch and also wears these when they are nicely starched for dress wear.

I had to return
5 February 2024

These jeans bunched up on the front, below the belt line. I am desperately trying to find high rise jeans. Jeans that sit below the waist feel like they're falling off constantly. Don't know why people buy/wear them. Wrangler needs to have bigger front pockets too. If you like to put your hands in your pockets good luck, they're sooo small.

I own several of this model: they don't last long.
7 May 2021

I own numerous pairs of this model, the 13MWZ. If they actually fit when they arrive then there will be a hole or rip at the top corner of one of the hip pockets in a very short while. And that's a big IF.At least 1 out of every 3 of these jeans that I have purchased has had to be returned because, even though they were marked and tagged as the size I ordered, they were much too small - probably mislabeled). NEVER remove the tags until you try them on. I have measured the waist on these brand new jeans and found them to be as much as 2" smaller than they were labeled as and as I ordered (see uploaded photo). And that's before washing. This has happened so often I am almost tempted to order two sizes up, but then I'll end up with huge jeans. The only reason I buy ... MoreI own numerous pairs of this model, the 13MWZ. They just get holes at the pocket corners so quickly. A lot of other reviewers have complained about this in the past several years but nothing has been done about it.

Low Rise, Natural Waistline?
13 June 2024

I can readily find low rise jeans, natural waistline jeans, but when are jeans companies going to list high rise jeans for mature men who don't need to attract women by showing hip bones, belly buttons or sagging?I've got money to spend but current descriptive labeling does not make it easy. And "natural waistline" is as varied as a natural hairline. Especially as men age.

Occasional issue
14 February 2024

At first I the jeans always fit perfect, I then started to receive what looked like two different styles. The fit was different and the color was off. Looking more into the jeans I noticed the tag inside the zipper had different numbers. What I wanted was 13MWZAW, but I was getting 1013MWZAW. Customer service told me they're the same Jean and there's no difference.

Perfect relaxed fit and tough pair of jeans.
17 January 2024

These used to be available at about every place that sold Wranglers. But, relaxed fit isn't nearly as easy to find as it used to be. These are exactly what I needed and TSC makes it easy to get with free shipping to store. These fit exactly how I want them to, with more room in the seat and thighs to make stepping up and squatting easier. Quality is excellent. The only jeans on the market that will last more than 6 months. I try to get 2 years out of these and they are always up to the challenge.

Thigh too loose causing jeans to look baggy.
11 February 2024

I have some relaxed fit Wranglers that fit everywhere, but they don't have the traditional leather tag I have always appreciated when I was smaller. These relaxed fit are too relaxed. Sending all four pair back at my expense.I want the old tag and the fit of the less expensive and less classic product

This Jean was the go to rugged workwear of my choice not so
14 May 2021

These jeans purchase after purchase after purchase just continue to become more and more worthless. I've purchase about 6 pair in the past 2 months. The continue to tear in the same exact spot. I purchased these jeans because they are the only ones that I found that could hold up with a quality comfort, That statement is no longer true. I'm done wasting my money. Other brands are being considered. Would not recommend this is becoming a cheap quality over priced product. Value is no longer there. They are beginning to lack in consistency in sizing one pair same jean is big on the legs and others fit well
