The first time I bought this pair of jeans it was at a thrift store, and it was perfect. The fit was amazing the color was great, and it had 7 belt loops which I love. I liked the pants so much I wanted another color so I tried searching for the same pair everywhere. I used the style number on the thrift pair to search for the same exact pants but I could only find these-which are shown in the pictures to have five belt loops. I decided to take the gamble and bought the same size I found at the thrift store (34 waist when I usually wear 32 or 33) and was so very pleasantly surprised when the pair came with 7 belt loops. They are nearly identical to the old pair I found at the thrift store and I'm super happy about it. I guess my only gripe would be that the sizing ... I guess my only gripe would be that the sizing is a little off, as I stated above in the parentheses, and the model picture was inaccurate on the website which caused me to hesitate buying this new pair for a good while. They should show the 7 belt loops in the pictures because I think that's one of the best parts along with the red wrangler tag above the right back pocket. Overall great pair of no stretch, all cotton, slightly wider fitting, classic jeans and If they keep making them fit and look like this I'll keep buying them.

My husband wears only Wrangler mostly for the fit and the price is reasonable. BUT the last pair that we purchased , after some weight loss, he wanted to try a 32 waist. They fit great but as he compared them with his jeans that he had been wearing, he discovered that the 2 belt loops on each side of the backside middle loop were missing. After researching, it was discovered that Wrangler had went from 7 belt loops to 5!! The missing loops in the back are needed to keep your belt from buckling as you stoop or bend over as you are working. Why would Wrangler do this?? What is their reason?? It makes no sense!! We returned the jeans to our local Walmart store. Disappointed and perplexed!! Oneonta AL

5 Star are my favorite jeans, been wearing them for years. Fit great and perform well. The regular 100% cotton original version has been out of stock forever. I needed jeans in the worst way so finally ordered these 1% spandex version. Ugh. Just don't like the fabric that well, some how don't feel as substantial. Certainly don't need the stretch, jeans do that until the next washing anyway. Give me back the 100% cotton please! Note that my "would not recommend" would be given in context if someone asked me: "Well, not for me but you might like the fabric. They do fit fine."

My hubby is hard to fit for jeans. He is also hard to change. he's bought the same brand and style of jean for his entire adult life - until last year. He got his first pair of 20x - WINNER. This is his 3rd style of 20x jean since - not one has disappointed him or me - great fit, excellent quality, ace for styling. He works in them, he plays in them, he looks hot in them. This particular pair is my personal fav on him, it fits more generously, it seems the waist to crotch length may be more generous, but he just looks so comfortable and the distressing on them makes them look current. He wears belts and suspenders - looks great both ways.
I ordered 36:29, not 34:29 as shown above. I received 36:29. However, I had ordered the dark stone wash and received midnight rinse color. Was able to bleach them, but they are still a bit too dark. I like to wear them for work and every-day use; not for "dress-up" jeans. If I wanted midnight rinse jeans, I would have ordered them. So, I was a bit put out that y'all didn't send what I ordered. Other than that, Wrangler Five-Star Regular Fit Jeans are great. All I can find at the stores around here are the stretchy-cloth Wrangler jeans, and I hate that material. I was excited to find that the Five-Star Regular Fit Jeans is regular denim cloth are available on your web site. Once I found your web site, and found the jeans, I ordered immediately. I used to be ride or die for the U-shape Wranglers. I haven’t been able to find them anywhere and I found these Relaxed fit w/ flex. These are hands down the best jeans I’ve had in a really long time, maybe ever. These jeans, when u choose the correct size actually fit like a glove while still loose at the same time. It’s all from the flex Jean fabric which is awesome, letting you walk and sit down with ease. These jeans are super lightweight. The Wranglers I wore in the store must have weighed an extra 2 1/2-3lbs. The fabric is soft and super thin compared other jeans I’ve owned. Guys these are a total game changer you have to try a pair for yourselves and at the price they are selling for at Wal-Mart why not get 3-4 pairs. They come is an wide selection of colors. ... Personally I like the darker color jeans they look great. Also, I was absolutely certain I was a 38w. I’ve lost a lot of weight and the 38w in this cut were extremely huge compared to the 38w Wranglers I have at home. I was able to fit into a 36w easily and they fit great. I went home threw out all my jeans in the closet and ordered more online. Walmart has a larger selection of Jean colors to choose from on the internet but, I recommend going to the store and trying these on first. Grab your normal size and a size below what you normally wear when u try these on because, these are cut different. You will be surprisingly satisfied with these particular jeans ! Wrangler don’t quit on these ever!
Seems these are the jeans I always loved. This style of Wrangler jean has always been my go-to jean. For me - WAY better than Levi, Lee, or other jeans. Loved the fit, feel, deep pockets, quality fabric, hardware, etc. Then, I saw changes, as did a lot of other people according to reviews. Comments were that the material was lighter weight, back pockets smaller, front pockets shallower, watch pocket smaller, crotches tighter, waist fit lower to comply with new style trends, etc. This concerned me to the point I started checking out local inventory, trying them on. Yes, it did seem they had changed them - a lot probably having to do with they were being manufactured in a lot of different places. Yes, it did seem they had changed them - a lot probably having to do with they were being manufactured in a lot of different places. It appeared that what you ended up with was a crap shoot depending on what country they were made in, probably what factory. So for 5 years I was afraid to buy these jeans. Finally, I decided if I made sure I only ordered the 96501DS, maybe they might have gone back to the old reliable standard great jean they were before. Well - good news folks! The jeans I received had all the attributes of the old jeans. I'm extremely happy that I have my old jeans back!
I purchased 2 stone washed light blue Wrangler Jeans 3 years ago and they were great and the quality was excellent.I have lost weight and need to go from a 38x30 to a 36x30. These reviews make it very difficult to justify buying the same jeans.Too many reviews are similar as far as quality is concerned. Torn rear pockets are frequently mentioned, belt loops are frequently mentioned as falling apart. Even the crotch appears to split in many reviews.Complaints regarding the thinner fabric is also mentioned in other reviews. Some have said that they don’t last more than a few days to a few months.Because of these reviews I have decided to stay away from these low quality jeans. I don’t like purchasing $50.00 to over $100.00 jeans. The ones I have now are 3 years ... I don’t like purchasing $50.00 to over $100.00 jeans. The ones I have now are 3 years old and have lasted perfectly for 3 years. The only reason I have to replace them is that I have lost some weight. Are there 3 belt loops or 5? Why are there so many complaints regarding the tearing of the rear pockets? I will have to bite the bullet and buy another more expensive pair of jeans. What a shame that these jeans are probably made in a foreign country using cheaper materials and cheaper labor.
I've successfully bought directly from Wrangler before, but this was a disaster. I rinsed the new jeans, put them in the washer, and the blue that came out literally damaged the washer to the point that I had to use steel wool to clean all plastic and metal parts. So I washed the jeans by hand FOUR more times and each time massive amounts of blue came out. I finally tried the washer one more time and it AGAIN damaged the washer requiring repair. I would never wear these, or sit on any furniture. Ultimately I threw them in the garbage as I wouldn't even goodwill them, affecting someone else. Waste of $30+ and I'll never order from Wrangler again.
