Classic fit, modern touches

Size up one!, In the Shiloh I wear a one. Had to get a 3 in this Willow style. I am 5', 105 lbs, petite build. Since I am petite the mid-rise comes right at my belly button. The style is fitted through the thigh. Waist band at back is higher than at the front (good for squatting or sitting). I also like the conservative details (no bling). The fabric seems thicker than the Shiloh. I plan on wearing these every day doing ranch work and gardening. I expect them to last 1 year. I wish they weren't $20 more expensive than the Shiloh. I wear a 30" length with average stack and this size only came in 32". Will have to hem an inch or two but I'm used to that.

Great fit! Size chart is difficult to use, though.

I was a little confused by the size chart because the waist measurements seem so big compared to the hips (usually there's a 10" difference between the two). My natural waist is 26" and hips are 37" so the size chart really wasn't of much help, but I assumed that Wrangler must have meant "low waist", even though they explicitly say to measure around the narrowest point (your natural waist). So I went with a size 5, which fit my hip and thigh measurements the closest, and was closest to my usual size. It was great! And the waist was definitely not too big, despite the waist for that size being (29-29.5")...so they must mean low waist. I got the "Brooke" color, partly because it is one of the colors with a higher level of elastine in them and felt it would help them ... MoreI was a little confused by the size chart because the waist measurements seem so big compared to the hips (usually there's a 10" difference between the two). Excellent product, maybe it's time to fix the sizing/measuring information, though. In some reviews I've seen people order based on their waist measurement and I can confidently say I'm NOT a 0 so that would have gotten me a pair a few sizes too small!

I'm on my 7th pair, these jeans have gone through a lot and have held up surprisingly well. They hold up amazingly in the saddle, super comfy, a bit of gaping but I assume it's just because I have a very small waist. Definitely better than other jeans that gap though. I have stained these jeans many times, cow poop, calf electrolytes, which are bright orange by the way, mud, even markers and blood during hunting season. Every time the stains come out very nicely with just a bit of stain remover and a hood wash. Love these jeans so much. I'm a huge fan of wrangler, and I believe these are great for other tall thin gals like myself. I am 5'8, 110lbs for reference, and I purchased the 00x36.

My Favorite Jeans Ever!
19 May 2022

These jeans fit so well. And I love that they come in longer lengths for us long-legged gals. They hold up super well. I actually had four pairs in the 15x34 that I wore every week. I own a construction company so these get WORN and they held up really well. After over a year of hard use, they started to look a bit worn and I had lost some weight so I bought four more pairs in 13x34 (two in this color and two in another color). For reference I am 5'8" (long legs, short torso) and around 200lbs with an hourglass figure. The waistband is snug enough that these never slide down or fall off. And there's just enough stretch to move in. Thank you for making jeans I am finally excited to wear!

Size up if you buy these
14 April 2023

I bought a 33 because it's the biggest size Wrangler offers with a 36" inseam - there's not enough stretch in these to make it work. I normally wear a 34 in Miss Me's. These are almost identical in fit and fabric to the Cool Vantage jeans. I'd recommend sizing up.Suggestion to wrangler - offer longer inseams in all sizes, offer it as a "made upon order" basis, or allow some people to custom order if enough jeans are purchased. Some of us thick girls are TALL too.

So disappointed
6 February 2023

I have worn this Willow Lovette style for several years now and it was always true to fit. You recently changed the sizing. Now the size 5 is much tighter in the legs. I tried a size 7 and it is huge in the butt and waist. I am so disappointed. Every time I finally find a Wrangler style that fits, you change it for no apparent reason. I am 66 years old and have been a loyal customer for over half a century. Now I cant find a single Wrangler style that fits. I don't know who you are modeling these jeans to fit now, but it sure isn't the clientele that built your brand and has stayed loyal. They don't hold up to daily riding
26 June 2022

I purchased my first pair of Willows from my local Rural King in spring of 2021 and I was instantly in love. They fit great, felt great when I was riding, and held up good for the first few months. I bought one more pair online that summer, followed by 2 more pairs at AQHA Congress in Oct. 2021. I ride 6 days a week, usually 2-4 horses a day. I spend 5-6 hours a day in the barn in these jeans and I only purchased them because I was hoping these jeans were up to the task. They aren't. By spring 2022 the pair I bought in the summer of 2021 were blown out in the thighs. I wasn't immediately upset and I was willing to consider this a fluke, but now one of the pairs I bought in Oct are ripping up the middle seam (yes, right at my butt). These jeans were not purchased tight and they were only washed once a week on average, some pairs only once every other week. These jeans DO NOT hold up to the demands of riding and barn work as I had hoped. It's hard for me to spend $60-$70 on a pair of jeans but I was hoping that if I made the investment they would last. Not sure if I was somehow caring for them wrong or what, and maybe this is just me, but I don't think I'll be buying these again and if you ride every day, I don't know that I'd suggest you buy them either.

Thin denim, poor quality compared to other colors
2 March 2023

I am so disappointed with the Davis wash. When they first go on, they're perfect! Soft, comfy, stack beautifully over boots. However they stretch out quick and become baggy in the thigh. They also developed holes at the back pockets, at a couple belt loops, and the seam at the crotch. They did not stand up to time in the saddle or worn under my farrier apron and were my first pair of Willow's to go in the trash because I couldn't keep patching up the holes. The denim is not durable with the Davis jeans!

Very Disappointed
21 October 2022

I've bought multiple pairs of the Willow URJ throughout the past 2 years and loved them. They always fit perfectly and were a nice thick denim that is very durable. I just bought the Lovette ones and they fit completely different than the previous pairs have in the same size and they were way too tight for me. Furthermore, they feel incredibly flimsy and cheap. I feel like they will rip very easily and won't hold up when I am working on things or doing simple chores. In the picture it looks like the pocket design is brown and white threads, but in person it's actually a really ugly light blue and not white. I usually love Wrangler jeans but looks like I will be returning these and looking at Levi's for something in a similar style but made of quality materials.

Willow is now my go-to jean
30 September 2021

This was my first time buying Wrangler women's jeans. I ordered both Q-Baby and Willow. Willow has the best fit for me. For reference I'm 5' 3", 103 lbs, waist 26", hips 33", thigh 17", inseam 32". I used the size chart and decided to order size 1, 32 length. I bought the jeans in Maggie. Love the color! Both jeans are good and I'll wear the Q-Baby, but Willow fit better with a bit higher pitch in back and a better fit in the waist. I found I didn't NEED to wear a belt to keep them in place and there was no tugging them up in the back after I bend over or squat. I think Willow fits a tiny bit more snug than Q-Baby, but that could just be the difference in the fabric composition of the different colors. Worn 2 days in a row and no sagging at all.
