Kitchen Essentials filled my order promptly. I am thrilled with my Wusthof Classic 4.5 inch utility knife. It is sturdier than the less expensive Wusthof gourmet utility knife that I am replacing because the handle failed and broke into several pieces. The Classic blade seems sharper. I am really hoping that it will retain its edge longer after sharpening than my old Gourmet. My one concern with the Classic is the flexibility of the blade, making it seems a little thin and maybe breakable or bendable given unconventional challenges like frozen foods.

Little longer than a regular paring knife but the length is very helpful with slicing many vegetables. The knife was delivered very sharp and ready to use. This is a great knife, I have used it for vegetables and meat so far. Couple of swipes over a steel keeps it perfect after each use. Kitchensmart processed my order quickly and shipping was great. Would buy again but won’t need to as these knives last and last.

We are extremely pleased with the 3.5" Wusthof paring knife. It is very well balanced, comfortable to hold and slices very well. We also purchased two 6" Wusthof utility knives which we are also very happy with. We hope to purchase more Wusthof knives in the future as our other sized knives require replacing.

Weight, balance. Beautiful knife.Excellent service from Kitchen Smart.Prompt delivery.Carefully packaged.

This is my favorite knife!! It cuts so easily and smoothly! I bought this knife as a part of my professional set for about $75 from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. At the time I was not skeptical but I was not aware of what a good knife really was. It is balanced and sharp enough to skin a grape. It is still as sharp as the day I bought it with no blade knicks or sharpening. Extremely proficient and excellent quality knife.

Forget the rest and buy the best

Perfect balance and can be sharpened to a degree that other knives cannot. It will last a lifetime. This replaced a 25 yo knife that has gone missing. Wusthof offer lifetime guarantee, which I have used on other knives after 20 years to have them professionally sharpened. A product that lives up to its name ie 'classic'.

Great knife

I love this knife; it’s sharp and strong, with clean edges. And it’s well-weighted in my hand. German workmanship at its best.It sharpens beautifully with a whetstone, the steel is of very fine quality.I’ve banned everyone in my house from touching this knife; it’s MINE!

Just get one!

Love this knife, this is my 2nd (have had the 1st for 20+ years)as hubby broke the tip off my last one-NOT a screwdriver, dear....Lovely balanced knife that will slice anything finely and the point is super sharp! Feels lovely in your hand. Very durable.Just get one!!

Perfect for paring larger vegetables and fruits

This knife is the perfect length for paring larger root vegetables and pumpkin. Comfortable grip. Cannot find any faults with this brand. Have had other wusthof knives for well over 25 years and amazed with how they wear and only occasionally require sharpening with a hand held knife sharpening block. I expect this one to be no different. Myer was competitive on price. Very pleased.

Perfect knife for smaller hands

This utility knife is perfect for most kitchen jobs and ideal for a one person household. The bolster prevents any slippage (and potential finger cutting) and the weight, size and shape are perfect for women's hands. Excellent sharpness and thickness of blade for general tasks. This is a good kitchen investment.investment
