Bought for my 12yo. Seems well designed. One bolt stripped while putting together. Spare was provided. I would say this is more suited to teens rather than adults due to the size of the seat itself
The chair is of decent quality for the money, the problem is that the built-in headrest is too low. The box it comes in states the chair is for people whose height is between 140-181cm (4ft 7 - 5ft 11). I'm 5ft 10 and the headrest sits right between my shoulder blades, which is uncomfortable to say the least. For the record the built-in headrest starts 18in from the seat base. Additionally the arms are the opposite and are quite high, which means the chair has to be lowered to fit underneath a desk of normal height (70cm), if this matters.
Chair is amazing. Daughter was very pleased. Great price too. Only problem was that it was a massive heavy box and the lad that bought it out from the back wasn't allowed to help carry it to my car which was parked next to the entrance.
Had to return the first one due to a manufacturing fault. Both X Rocker and Smyths were very helpful at sorting a replacement. Other than that small issue, brilliant chair and very comfortable. Would recommend
i brought this chair today,has to be the most uncomfortable chair,u cannot move the seat back so you are constantly sitting at 90 degrees angle,the material is to hard aswell but mostly the fact you can’t change the angle of the chair which makes it so u comfortable
This chair is lop sided, when viewed from font it is obvious something has gone wrong during the manufacture of the back rest, it clearly looks like the backrest is lower on the right hand side and this can be seen in the stitching higher on the left and lower on the right, i have contacted X rocker who said it is not their problem…GUTTED can’t find receipt to return to smyths only have bank statement …
Good solid chairs, move round easily. Hope it lasts as long as the last xRocker we bought. Only downside is the height of the back of the chair-my sons head is just above it but he’s happy with it
