Good looks BUTT... The outsole wears after 1 year when used on hard surfaces. Also the innersole (under the otholitesole) is partly loose in the shoe. This is happening more and more with the Salomonproducts. More scale is less quality it seems.

I got these as a result of claiming the warranty for a pair of shoes I had bought last year which broke dissapointingly easily and quickly but I am much happier with this pair. The warranty process was so quick and easy that it has restored my faith in salomon

Bought this shoe for hiking after a great experience with xt6’s. The fit is perfect strong, durable and grippy sole but unfortunately the eyelets couldn’t handle the speed laces when I tighten them and broke on both shoes after only 5 days of hiking. All they need is a plastic bit inside the eyelet (just like the xt6’s) and they’d be perfect.
I go to Salomon because I want shoes that fit, are comfortable, and can cope with either running or hiking on the rough country terrain where I live. These shoes do all these things whilst keeping my feet dry - just right!
I have had these for about a month and they are great. I am a long time wearer of Salomon footwear. I have been wearing the X Ultras for years, but was very disappointed in the new look. I decided to try the X Ultra 360. At first I was a little disappointed because I wear 9.5 and have for years, even in Salomon products. I ordered and returned the 9.5 because my foot felt like it was swimming in it. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Quick interaction with customer service and a new order, I got size 9 and am loving them. Really like how these are similar to the old X Ultras.
Bought these for fall and winter. I've used Gore-Tex shoes for more than a decade and have always been satisfied. These look particularly sharp. Good price, great product, fast delivery. This is getting to be ho-hum...a good thing!
Took a good week of wear to break in. The uppers were stiff and creased very uncomfortably for a good while, and are still less comfortable than the X-Ultra 4s. But the tongue design is much better than that found on the X-Ultra, showing you to slip on the shoe very easily - just like the old design. A bigger range of colours would have been ideal.
Been buying Salamon boots and shoes now for around 20 years now, never had a problem with them. Comfortable and waterproof (Wear them all day everyday.) delivery’s are quick. Never had to return any.Got to be the best walking and hiking boots/shoes on the market.
I ended up returning these.I was looking for a sturdy shoe, not boot, for hiking in New England. These didn't seem all that sturdy compared to others, more like a stiffer trail running shoe. Also, I've had Salomon XA Pro...whatever model shoes since 2004 and Salomon seems to be making things wider and wider, including the X Ultra here. They fit well otherwise, but I had to sinch them up tight to fid width wise
