Oh wow Microsoft has learned, from its once bulky Xbox 360 controllers. The black Xbox One wireless controller fits in your hand easily, and allows far more fun with video games. Thank you Bill Gates and team! First off I love the X buttons position, as this allows for remote turning on, without interfering with the joystick or buttons. Yes the usual buttons are the same. Yet their build quality, feels far more substantial. I’m not worried about breaking these, and considering what they’ve been handed during Madden and other games, impressive! The yellow y, the orange b, the green a, and blue X are in the circle on the right side. I like the RB/RT and LB/LT buttons being on the top. That makes gaming a cinch. Far more intuitive. These wireless devices connect every single time. They also have a range of at least twenty feet. As for the batteries, Xbox has improved big time. No longer will you want rechargeable batteries, which by themselves are a headache. Instead any brand of AA batteries will be fine. I’ve had Rayovac’s from the dollar store in for several weeks now. You will get a low battery warning, but it still hasn’t happened. By far the best controller in the market, as I wasn’t that impressed with my friends elite I believe they are called. Sticking with this one, as it’s a winner in every way. Responsive and fun!

The Xbox One wireless controller’s are the best yet. Finally Microsoft has beaten Sony in this aspect. The red controller has the power button in the top middle, close to the A, B, X, and Y’s. That is helpful. The directional arrow below, and the traditional RB/LB RT/LT are super. These are easy to manipulate in code heavy games. I love the bright red color. It’s not too obnoxious, but crisp and modern. Also battery life has been improved. I’ve been able to play heavily for weeks, without having to replace the AA batteries. These are easily accessed in the back. This allows you more video game time and less hassles. You will be pleased by this model, and also they are more durable than ever.

First off, I love the color. Second, love the directional pad, and third, better textured on the bottom for better grip! I did however, just noticed a negative. When I use a headset and insert the jack in its slot it is somewhat lose and slightly wiggles from side to side. It does not do this on my original controller. So, I find this part of the controller poorly executed. This port for the headphone jack needs to be better reinforced so that there is no wiggle play whatsoever. I find this very disappointing for the amount of money these things cost!

On launch day, I was very happy to secure a XBOX Series X - a hugely in demand next generation console. I was able to get the unit from a company that has a red and white bullseye as its corporate logo. Based on observing the difficulty in which people are having getting the console, I figured there might be supply-demand issues for other critical components such as this product so I purchased on during Best Buy Black Friday Thanksgiving special. So far this product has remained in its box (unopened). I did get a sizeable discount on this product with the Best Buy Thanksgiving Sale special pricing. So far this product has remained in its box (unopened). I did get a sizeable discount on this product with the Best Buy Thanksgiving Sale special pricing. I have been using the black controller that came with the console and enjoy it very much. My only fear is that the controller might suffer the same irregular potentiometer drift issue that I experienced with the previous XBOX console generation (XBOX One X). I have about 5 controllers and all but 1 suffered from that annoying drift issue which made many game unplayable such as COD:MW where tight control of the analog stick is imperative. If the stick in neutral position is drifting, it is very difficult to overcome that during gameplay. This beautiful blue controller cost a bit of a premium over the regular white controller, but I believe it is worth the money.
Best regular Xbox controller on the market right now. I had one of the Elite controllers previously and honestly wasn’t really a fan of that one, so I have to say this feels like the nicest controller Microsoft has delivered so far. The textured controller grips and textured trigger buttons are a big improvement, it helps the controller feel more solid overall. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows however - I won’t ding this review too badly as I’m hoping this controller lasts longer, but I will caveat things by noting my previous controller that came with my Series X died on me after 10 months of heavy use (faulty right trigger button, starts to stick when you depress the trigger and won’t pop back out) and this was purchased to cover me while I waited for my ... MoreBest regular Xbox controller on the market right now. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows however - I won’t ding this review too badly as I’m hoping this controller lasts longer, but I will caveat things by noting my previous controller that came with my Series X died on me after 10 months of heavy use (faulty right trigger button, starts to stick when you depress the trigger and won’t pop back out) and this was purchased to cover me while I waited for my warranty replacement from Xbox (this blue one is now my primary). I’ve noticed both sticking trigger buttons and broken bumper buttons tends to be an issue with the general controller design MS uses, and it was an issue on the older Xbox One X controllers too, so that’s a bit of a bummer to see the new ones continuing to utilize that same general design internally. I have both the Xbox Series X and the PS5 - One thing I will say is that I prefer the size/shape ergonomics of the Xbox controller a bit more in terms of comfort after longer gaming sessions, but the Sony controllers definitely feel more premium and have greater functionality, which to me helps justify the price in my mind more. The Xbox controllers are quite expensive, and given how many I have gone through over the years it is a little frustrating to either need to repair or replace them as often as they’ve needed so far. We’ll see if the latest gen Xbox controllers hold up any better, but I’ve had my PS5 as long as my series X and my PS5 controllers are still running solid as a tank… but this is already my 2nd Xbox controller in 10 months. :(
If you buy these new controllers, get the warranty. Never had stick drift before from any Xbox console in the past. Now both the one with the console and this one are complete junk. Can’t even play it’s so bad. Even after cleaning and updating nothing helped. I never bothered with warranties on controllers before, but if I put money into another controller, bet I’m getting it. On another note, this controller broke before my original one. Not sure what they did differently when building these. If it wasn’t for the stick drift they are great.
This air fryer has two features not widely available on other fryers. It goes up to a maximum temperature of 450 degrees. And it has a very useful window so you can observe what is happening inside without having to open the drawer. I do not claim to be a great cook so I have much to learn. Unfortunately, I cannot eat potatoes so no French fries. I have fixed salmon, bacon, beef and salmon burgers, and leftovers so far. I have a small kitchen so I had to figure out a special place for it. It needs to be placed at least 4 inches away from all walls. The main exhaust for hot air comes out the back of the unit. The digital control panel is very easy to use. I have come to rely on the eBay guarantee. The unit arrived in good shape at a much lower price. I still need to get a few essentials like a spray bottle for oil and a brush for the same. Oil does need to be used in air fryer mode but not very much. I also need more spices. I am a happy customer.
Well, these new controls suffer the same well known, well documented issue of the bumpers just randomly not working. I've had the controller only slightly longer than the warranty period, this is my third Xbox controller in a year all of which have a bumper issue. I use these controllers lightly, never touch them with messy hands, not a single button sticks. The bumper has lost all clickyness and fails to register inputs. This is an issue that has plagued Xbox Controllers since the Xbox One came out, it has a known design flaw and they apparently don't care about fixing it. Why bother when customers keep throwing money at controllers that'll fail in six months? Microsoft won't replace it, and won't stand by their product. These pieces of crap have a mere 90 day ... MoreWell, these new controls suffer the same well known, well documented issue of the bumpers just randomly not working. These pieces of crap have a mere 90 day warranty, that should tell you all you need to know about how long they'll last. Microsoft has permanently lost me as a customer, which is a shame as I had considered buying a Series X, not anymore. Go buy a PowerA controller, they may not feel as good initially, but at least they stand by their controllers with a two year warranty and will replace it when it fails.
The ONLY thing I found disappointing was that they did not come in the original Microsoft packaging. Just regular cardboard boxes... Hence the 1 missing star for the review. Other than that, they did still have the peel off plastic for the buttons, and the condition is new (I can tell). Ordering 2 more for back-ups, before Microsoft discontinues them. Previously I had bought 2 new Series-X controllers, and the newest Xbox controllers are TERRIBLE. Serious latency problems- There are complaints all over the internet about that, and how they are obviously made of cheaper material. Nice to have SOLID Xbox One controllers, again. Still wish they came in the original packaging, though... Woulda been 5 stars.
