Xenoblade Definitive Edition has a great cast and story that spans huge beautiful environments to explore. This updated version looks better than ever and has a bunch of Quality of Life improvements like much easier side quest tracking for NPC’s and needed items, plus a mode you can enable to adjust your character levels down and up with your currently accrued character experience to adjust the difficulty! Beyond quality of life improvements there’s also an epilogue story that picks up with some of the cast after the events of the main game and I enjoyed it a lot! If you give Xenoblade DE a go, be sure to play Xenoblade 2 which is an indirect sequel to Definitive Edition and I love both games a lot!!

I pre-ordered Xenoblade Chronicles and I'm very very impressed and amazed at Mighty Ape I got the video game before the ETA which said 2-8 of June and it came today which I'm so happy. I highly recommend people buy things from Mighty Ape they are a fantastic website and even though New Zealand is in lock down and orders will take longer to arrive I got mine so fast and before the ETA as I said above that's just how AMAZING Mighty Ape is Well done! I also recommend people playing this game not only does the game look badass and the fighting animation but also the graphics are good too and also a fun fact Shulk from this game is in Super Smash Bros Ultimate which is pretty cool for the Smash fans out there and I'm not surprised because he did come from a really cool ... MoreI pre-ordered Xenoblade Chronicles and I'm very very impressed and amazed at Mighty Ape I got the video game before the ETA which said 2-8 of June and it came today which I'm so happy. My expectations going into Xenoblade Chronicles were average, I had heard the series was good and that alot of people really liked it. I unfortunately missed getting the first release on the Nintendo Wii, so this is my first experience playing this game.I am genuinely suprised and amazed as to how much I have enjoyed (and am still enjoying) playing this game. I have put in over 90 hours since I got it on release day, the game is perfectly balanced with the main story, sidequests and reasonable challenges. The story is so deep and detailed in that nothing appears confusing; there is so much to the world and characters of Xenoblade Chronicles and the narrative slowly introduces you to how the world is and how everything works. There hasn't been a time where I have been confused in the narrative. What I like is how seamless everything is, I barely feel drawn out of the game with loading times. Every environment and event happens when it needs to, the game doesn't need to pause and load a battle arena or a different room, everything just happens as it is. The Gaur Plains is a perfect example, the map is expansive, detailed, you can see enemies in the distance just wondering in the environment, going into battles feels instant. Another aspect is the sidequests. Some sidequests in videogames are minimum at best; do an extra thing to get an extra item. In Xenoblade, you are encouraged to speak with the NPCs, explore the towns, cities and overworld environments and work out the relationships between different people. This makes the game feel infinitely bigger than it already is, you can choose whether to assist in fixing family or political issues, collecting items for development and fighting off additional monsters. The more you do, the more popular you become in these areas, your relationship with your party members also increases and this can have an impact on weapons and how your team fight together.Overall, music is amazing, gameplay is well balanced and theres so much to do, I highly recommend this for any RPG fans or anybody looking for a series to really get into.

Its a great game, after playing the other xenoblades I can see difference in graphics, said that it's less complex than have so many blades to choose and unlock, also the quests can be repetitive, but it makes you explore the while map. But it's a beautiful story, and reminds me the old good RPGS. I would definitely recommend. It's a must if you like the other xenoblades.
Amazing graphics. Gameplay is great for rpg like mmo. It's a single player game. Story grips you. I put 100hrs plus.
This is a remake of a wii game so with that in mind its graphics are solid and the combat unique and intresting. The game arrived a day before eta which is great. My only gripe is that since the condition of the game is discribed as brand new I was expecting it to be sealed but it wasn't so I don't really know if it is brand new. I have brought games from this before and they were sealed when stated that they were brand new. In any case the game works fine it just that I don't if its new or not apart from the decription since it came naked without a plastic wrap.
Xenoblade Chronicles\n\nThe game itself is fantastic. One of my all time favorites from 30 years of gaming. It is beyond easy to get lost inside the game's world. It actually feels alive and it's exciting to see what's around the next corner. The gameplay is simple enough to pickup, but with enough nuance to really get into it if you so desire. The story is incredible, and full of emotional twists and turns. There is also loads of side quest and optional stuff to keep you busy. Especially if, like me, you tend to want to find everything in these types of games. I really cannot recommend Xenoblade enough. Especially now that it's easier than ever to get your hands on.\n\nShipping/Logistics\n Arrived relatively early in the day (10am, give or take), on the day of ... MoreXenoblade Chronicles\n\nThe game itself is fantastic. Delivery driver even made sure to verify my ID. Only issue is the corner of the game box itself, inside the larger brown packaging box, is damaged. Which, although somewhat minor overall, is still upsetting given that this is a collector's edition....
I bought the switch for my son and the first few games we played were luigis mansion 3, Mario odyssey and then Zelda awakening and breath of the wild. Then this game bc it was supposed to be comparable to Zelda. Zelda was by far the most fun I've had playing an rpg. Within 30min of playing this game I was so disappointed. The movement is awkward, the scenery is nice but nothing is interactive. The battles are brutal. You die without even so much as a movement from the enemy. Sorry but if you like this game then I'm guessing you haven't tried zelda yet. Oh and the sound of walking on pavement will drive you bonkers. Sounds like hoofs of a horse!
Pros: Entertaining story, beautiful landscapes, exciting gameplay & epic soundtrack. Graphics have really been improved upon since the Wii version.Cons: Can be a bit daunting a times due to the scale of the world. A lot of traversing massive open world's. Can be a bit Grindy in order to level up and beat bosses.
Easily one of -if not the- best JRPG's on Switch. The story is engaging and the characters are all well written. I find the battle system enjoyable as well, having to consider your position adds a depth to the fights beyond just using skills as soon as they cool down. One of the best parts of the game personally was the exploration around such memorable world
