Very happy with this card.it has the same specs and cooling system as the more expensive MERC 6600 XT version but without any rgb. The card seems well cooled reaching an average of around 62c with my phanteks case with ambient temps hovering around 34-38c. So far it has ripped through every game played with red dead online reaching upto 90 fps with a mixture of ultra and high settings at 1080p on a pci-e gen 4.0 motherboard. For the price asked for this card and bearing in mind how screwed up the gpu market is right now,its a decent card and the cheapest ive seen on the current market.Yes the 3060ti is better but you cannot buy one at a realistic price right now I have tested this card on an old system with pci-e 2.0 and the card is bottlenecked to hell.you need a ... MoreVery happy with this card.it has the same specs and cooling system as the more expensive MERC 6600 XT version but without any rgb. With the newest generation of discrete GPUs this one competes better with the last gen, but at a higher cost. Keeping cost aside, the RX 6600xt does what its intended and even exceeded my modest expectations, performing decently at higher resolutions without dropping the games settings. In todays current market, picking one of these up at MSRB with no alternatives available is a good, not great choice. But if youre gaming on last gen, hold off till something more worthwhile. Build specs: MoBo: MSI B550m mortar Psu: EVGA 650gt Ram: 16gb Corsair CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x Gpu: XFX RX6600xt qick Case: thermaltake S100 snow edition

Even at elevated prices, the RX6600XT is the best value in the GPU market right now. And this card in particular is a great exponent of it. OC's well on the memory for about a 5-7% gain over stock.Looks good in a subtle way with the matte black finish. The cooler is beefy and keeps the card cool and does it quietly. Some coil whine but it's the good type versus the hurts your ears high freq type.Faster than a RTX 3060 and just short of a RTX 3060ti in rasterization. You can absolutely do 1440p on this with some setting tweaks in most games but at 1080p this is a monster.

Never bought an XFX card (pref. Saphire or VisionTek) but it seems to be doing it's job. Bought mainly for the Ryzen-5 5600X to complete the GEN-4 build. Very energy efficient. Half as fast as my Ryzen-5 3600 with (2) Saphire Radeon RX 480X's Crossfired in FPS gaming. Equal to (1)Visiontek Radeon RX 580X.Wait for GEN-5??? it's a gamble. Twice as much... and the availability. Your guess is as good as mine.
Overall I'd recommend this card. This bundle was the only way I could actually get my hands on one of these and was probably the cheapest I was able to get a good card. Nowadays it's impossible to reliably find things at msrp, so I thought this was good deal all things considered. It's a 1080p powerhouse for sure. I've been able to consistently run all my games on max settings without suffering much loss in fps.
I went from a 1050TI to a 6600xt, it is a huge jump in general. at 1080P I'm easily running over 100fps on ultra on most games. Games like no man's sky struggle on ultra or high to keep up but almost everything I've tried from Warzone to Dead by Daylight has a minimum of 60fps on high or ultra settings. From what I've gathered the card is expensive and keeps going up, when I purchased this card on launch day it was $399.99 and now it is like $479.99 which is really strange seeing as it came out like a month ago. It was $399.99 then $419.99, and now up to $479.99. I'm not sure if it is taxed based or if they're taking advantage of the situation. That's for you to decide. Overall good card. I will say having never ordered from B and H, having my order say back ordered the second I bought it was a weird ordeal. My brother got a 6600XT from another company and it showed up next day and B and H didn't even receive their shipment until over two weeks later.
I bought this 6600 XT for $713 (tax included) and came to realize the performance is horrible compared to an NVidia Geforce 3060. So I returned it. Idk why its so costly for something that can’t perform. I know crypto currency miners made it worse during this chip shortage for higher perforamce graphics cards, but this is useless to miners.
I got lucky and was able to purchase this card in a bundle outside the Shuffle. While I could have gotten a cheaper bundle with a dual fan 6600xt, I opted for the triple fan because I know AMD GPUs run hot. While many say a triple fan for a 160w TDP card is overkill, it certainly isn't if you value quiet. And quiet is the best word to use to describe this card. I use a small form factor ITX computer sitting on my desk and I literally cannot hear the fans spin at all. But there's a big asterisk (*) - the reason I deducted an egg is because I believe the fan curve on this card is too conservative. With stock settings, the card junction temperature hits 103 degrees but the fans are only at 30% speed. With stock settings, the card junction temperature hits 103 degrees but the fans are only at 30% speed. While technically the junction temp is within acceptable range under 110 degrees, GPUs last longer when kept cooler and boost clocks are able to go a bit higher. I used the built-in AMD control center to manually set the fan curve. I can get the junction temp under 90 by upping the fans to 50%. While they do become audible, it seems like a decent trade off for increasing hardware lifespan and slightly better performance. Lastly, this card supports dual BIOS but as of this review there are no additional BIOS from XFX. I'd like to see a "cool" BIOS option like they have for the 6800xt.
While I was hoping to get Rx 6800 but availability and prices made me go to this one. In any case, it's a bit bulky in design, it gave me problems when I tried to fit it in my old PC case so I had to replace it with my newer case with the 2 fans Sapphire Pulse 6600 XT which is 1/2 inch less thick and about 1 inch shorter. It has dual bios which is a nice feature; however, I would've loved if the company provides some info on their site regard the full use of it.Despite having 3 small sized fans, it's still somewhat quiet. Temp never reached 90C and fans apparently are set not to go beyond 75% of max speed.I've noticed that it takes about 7w less power than the Sapphire Pulse at the same clock which is rather odd!In conclusion, design isn't really practical, 2 ... MoreWhile I was hoping to get Rx 6800 but availability and prices made me go to this one. This review only applies to the gaming aspects of this card with a 1440p 60Hz monitor. I'm getting passable frame rates with medium-high details with the latest AAA titles (mostly 60hz, with dips down to 45fps) and a very solid 60 fps on high details with older titles that are less demanding. Shadows are set to low for some of the latest titles. I'm going to state the obvious and also mention that I have a top-end CPU so this review is more about the GPU. If your CPU is too slow for your games, your gaming experience will be bad regardless of how fast your GPU is.Driver issues have been non-existent for me, and I have played about ten titles in the past month.Power consumption is very low (games at ~130W using the AMD overlay), and so is the noise level. I took one star off because of the crazy GPU market where manufacturers are almost charging whatever they want. B&H basically has the best deal in the most reasonable time frame.
