We've had out XGIMI Horizon Pro for over 2 months now and I can honestly say its been one of our best purchases of 2021. The picture quality is just amazing, auto keystone means it is so easy to use offering a lot of flexibility in placement without noticeably losing quality. This makes it great to take to friends places for movie nights. They other thing we love is the build in speakers - the sound quality exceeded our expectations, while not a replacement for a dedicated hifi system, the quality is good enough to not detract from movies with very dynamic sound tracks. When listening to music videos changing the sound mode helps improve listening experience significantly.The only drawback to note is the lack of official Netflix app. We hope this can be added soon.

I'm very happy with my purchase!This is the second projector I have purchased from Xgimi. I really like this projector with built-in android TV which makes it very easy to use, and also you can zoom in or out on the image it projects to fit your screen without having to move the projector. For using the Netflix, you need to download a software called "desktopmanager" from the Google store, but that doesn't affect my enjoyment of it. Another nice point is that it recently launched 3d feature through a firmware update so I can watch some 3d movies at home. How fabulous! I REALLY LOVE THIS PROJECTOR.

The sound from the projector is great for as big as it is, but I have it connected to two large bluetooth speakers (W-King) and it's virtually a movie theater experience in the home, with no noticeable lag on the audio. We have one in the master bedroom, and I just ordered another one for the living room. We have always used Roku Ultra and Stick so the Netflix issue wasn't a problem for us (although it would be preferred as an incorporated app if they make that possible someday), and the built-in menu is easy and effective for anything other than Netflix. The one thing I hope to see updated is to be able to convert 2D to 3D, but that's not an XGIMI issue, that's a new legal issue that would have to be passed through Hollywood and the film industry - we had it on a previous XGIMI projector, and hopefully it will return, because video games in 3D on a 150-200" screen with surround sound can be pretty intense!) XGIMI is top of the line technology, the best thing you can do is get it, ignore the brands who claim to be better, then enjoy and be patient until the next time that XGIMI comes out with their next best projector... just get it, you won't regret it!p.s. their customer service is also quick, personal, and effective - they understand the importance of giving customers their attention
I would give Horizon Pro a 5-star review, but it doesn’t have all the latest tech in the box - hdmi 2.1, e-arc hdmi, and Adobe Vision. To be fair, Samsung doesn’t have Adobe Vision either. Xgimi still needs to meet requirements to have Netflix on their Android OS. Horizon could benefit from extra hdmi inputs. I’m really nitpicking at a product with excellent 4K visuals that would typically cost thousands of dollars more for a projector. Although it may not have everything I’d want, it still beats a TV. Everyone I’ve shown this to have now highly praised the quality of the projector. Do yourself a favor and purchase Xgimi’s Horizon Pro.

Although I purchased specifically for my golf sim, I will be using this to hold future movie nights in the back yard. The sound quality indoors is not bad, turned up half way is plenty loud for my space. Unsure how it will sound outdoors, but overall a good edition to the projector. If you're on the fence, try it out. If you're like me and want something affordable for a golf simulator then I say go for it.

If you are looking for a good 4K projector , this is a great option for you! I The image is perfect and clear. Super bright, I used this during the daytime, and night will be great more than i expect and the video was watchable. Setup is easy, and auto keystone correction is very helpful. The sound is loud and powerful, so I don’t need to spend more on external speakers. You can easily download popular apps like HBO Max, Disney+, and more from Google Play. but what a pity is that Netflix can't use from Google play,but i get a method from service ,1. It looks like you are looking at a glass pane in front of a 4k TV.Now this is not the best projector for manual adjustment so if you are particular on colour then it's not the one for you. If ,like me, you are happy with preset modes don't want to faff then it totally is the PJ for you. As well as a fabulous sharp and colourful image the Xgimi handles blacks really well. Now that statement comes with a caveat... The blacks are deep but lack range so sometimes dark scenes blacks and shadows can merge. At this price point that's no deal breaker and I would say the range is better than I experienced with the Epson.This is an Android TV projector, so the initial set up requires a Google account, with out one you can't use the pj.The built is speakers are great but I'm using with a full 5.2.1 system and Apple TV. So have no need for the apps or speakers. I can see how that would be useful for those that want to move it around.Top tip. Xgimi have included a tripod mount so positioning is super easy. They also sell a table top mount that's pricey but oozes style.If you use the Xgimi with extensive key stone you get a slanting light outline several ft around the image. This is natural to DLP so cannot be removed and Xgimi don't provide a shutter restriction to counter this. I've got used to it.It's most happiest with 4k content, watching Top Gun in HD exposes its flaws in handling lower quality content. It's not bad but not good eitherLast up I will talk about the digital zoom. It used to be that any mention of digital zoom would send you running , crying that the image is erm..pants, not on the Xgimi. The digital zoom works miracles and the image is pin sharp no matter the zoom used. How they have done is ,I don't know but , well done themOverall what this little projector does from a brand that is unknown is incredible. I would say try it out , seeing is believing
