Xiaomi Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro

Have got 3 of the older versions, bit clunky but do the job for the money. This one doesn't even connect. Have tried for 2 days and will be returning. Xiaomi themselves have the worst customer service I've ever seen when things go wrong.

Bluetooth setup onto the WiFi was easy. Amazing image, and low light is the best camera I have seen. I dont need to used Infrared as street is lit. Can see things in the shadows you cant see with naked eye. The person detection works very well.

I've had the camera for a couple of weeks now and it's really easy to use once it's set up. The instruction manual is quite small print, but there is a good article on YouTube that shows how to set it up. The notifications work and can be set up to notify if there is motion or a person detected. It's easy to use when away from home. The picture is really clear, both night and day. The sensitivity is a bit too good and it would be nice to have an option to only capture big objects moving rather than everything. The one negative is that it seems to be recording all the time, but doesn't pick up and notify all movement. When first installed it found it didn't pick up some one moving through the monitored zone. Purchased to use as a baby monitor. Does basic functions well and being able to clearly see and hear baby on my phone is great. Can't get the baby cry detection to work properly, but alexa covers that off so no big deal.

Defeats the whole points of a camera system if the app doesn't send notifications of activity in the came. I wish I could return the camera.

Wish I had spent less money for less resolution since the software does not send notifications to my phone and does not store photographs. I have been using products from this company for years but disappointed with this one.

The video is very clear, I love the wide angle. But maybe I didn't mount the camera so well, when adjusting the camera facing extremely lower, the picture will be blocked by the white frame/boarder. But it's not an issue with the product, I should have mounted it on the ceiling and in an upside-down position.

I would recommend using a very large SD card on this camera, I haven't been able to figure out the cloud storage option, the person tracking is slow but it's ok. I haven't been able to get the camera to connect to our NAS (Network Attached Storage). I did manage to get it to connect I just couldnt get it to log in and save to the NAS. Good camera, I would recommend it but if your budget does stretch further and you don't mind a subscription I would get an Arlo or Nest system.

Easy setup and fuctionality

Works great, setup done in 5 mins. I've had a couple of Xiaomi cams before and they work fine until they don't, re-synching them can be tricky if they drop off the network from experience. Can't fault picture quality and the app for being easy to navigate though, and the motion detection is good. Works great for viewing our section from a front window to track courier deliveries, but turn in the infrared function off at night if facing out a window for a similar purpose as the red LED's reflect off glass and blur the images. You can still get great clarity in 2k at night even without this mode.
