Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier Pro

Turns out i have a clean air house as mostly the reading is 1 or 2, but as soon as I start cooking, it quickly detects the food odor and smoke and rises to 40-100 and it speeds up and quickly cleans the air to a reading of 1 again. I used to come home the next day and could smell the cooking smells as house had been closed up, now it doesnt have last nights smell each day. working well :)

I just got this yesterday so it's been running for 24 hours now and for the first time in years I woke up without the usual watery eye's and post nasal drip. I live next to a forest and it's hard to escape the pollen. I'm so impressed by it I bought another one this morning for my bedroom. It's really quiet and you can tell it's working, when I open the door to go outside immediately the sensor jumps up to indicate more particles. Not super cheap but what price do you put on health

Works as it should, the claim that this also removes odor is rather an overstate. But the machine is very sensitive to air quality changes and works well in a small room. I'd say it gets too loud to suit the need of large rooms.

Purchased this after doing a lot of research on air purifiers and the general consensus online was that the Mi Air Purifier Pro was a very good purifier at an excellent price. I live in an apartment with no externally ducted rangehood - just a recirculating one which is pretty hopeless. We get really strong food and cooking odors that linger for ages (until the morning when you can open windows and ventilate). They get into the furniture, drapes and clothes. Super annoying. Since purchasing this we have had absolutely no smells whatsoever. It's amazing! I leave it off during the day as the air purity level is really good other than when cooking. As in asthmatic who lives in a very dusty area I suffer and have done for years.After giving up on other brands (way more expensive I must add) and then buying this my asthma is more controlled, after 24 hours I could really feel a positive difference.It's been about a month now.Totally integrated into our google home setup also, and so quiet on auto. When cranked, (and you won't need to crank it) you can see the unit has grunt. In auto I need to run my hand over it to check it's on, it's nearly silent.I sleep well now and have far fewer instances where I need an inhaler. Literally a lifesaver and worth every cent.

Bought this when it was on 30% discount. To be honest, if you live in NZ, I dont think air purifier is necessary but bought it anyway due to all this Covid19 non-sense. Very fancy looking, seems to do its work. When I cook it would go up to 100 and quickly sucks in down back to 0 within less than a minute.

This is a monster of a unit. I thought it was going to be some chunky loud thing that we wouldn't be able to use in the bedroom. Nope! Even on the automatic mode the quietest setting you can't even hear it in the dead of the night. The sensor is quick to pick up changes in the air, especially when we are cooking on the other side of the house (only a low reading).My partner has noticed less coughing and irritation overnight caused by her asthma. So it is actually making a difference even though the sensor is on 001 most of the time.Connection to the Mihome app was easy and it was picked up in Google Home too - however only as an ON/OFF Appliance.

I already own the 2H and was hoping to add a larger purifier to the living room. was pretty disappointed to find the automation features are completely unavailable on the pro. considering how much more expensive it is and that its called the "pro" its pretty misleading to find it cant perform the best feature. The automation allows you to have the filter ramp up at a desired pm2 then drop back to normal as the air quality gets better. This apparently was disabled on all purifiers outside China for reasons unknown.Pretty frustrating, will likely return. This feature works perfectly on the 2H however.

Good air purifier

Works as described. Can use app to control it easily and also determine air temperature and humidity. Gives reading of how long the purifier has until it needs the filter changed. Very happy with it

Looks Great!

Quiet. Reacts fast to indoor cooking smoke! And it looks great. But... The App could be better. You can't set a schedule for the three settings (Auto/Night/Fave) which is silly as that would be simple programming for XiaoMi.
